I can't keep my hands off of you

Pyro: I might have mixed up the title of the song but I do remember that it was a Basement Jaxx video ^_^; *takes notes on her movie thoughts* Hehe, music sure can inspire your writing *giggles* And no, I didn't know that song was played in the Matrix until Jeh pointed it out. Goes to show how much attention I pay to things >>;

Shimmy Shammy: Does this mean I'm on my way to becomming a Pixie appreciater? :o Oingo Boingo... *stalks Tony* >>

Suaveness: Hmm, I'll rent it when I feel secure enough in my happiness :p

Slick: Wheee for jazz! At least the kind of jazz that isn't experimental, hrm. *cuddles her cd's* Me lubs them so much _^_

Ninja Baby!

Oh, and if anyone's wondering about the intro image I can inform you that it's from one of the chapters in the Matrix-esque story I've been writing on. Slightly modified. At first I wanted to insert an old intro poem but it just wouldn't fit in nicely so after browsing my files I came upon that one and it worked. Somewhat anyway.

Because they deserve more mention

CD 1

"Plug it in" Basement Jaxx - Feel good song that makes me bouncy. Wasn't the video partly made in a café setting and some meteor or something came crashing down on it? There were lots of red in it, in any case. lol

"Ava adore" Smashing Pumpkins - Groovy beat. I should explore Smashing Pumpkins on my own. (It's another band my older sister would play a lot, hehe.)

"Gollum's song" Torrinim Emiliana - This is one of those songs that send shivers down your spin, especially with those vocals *shivers*

"New world" Björk - Like butter in my ears. It'd be interesting to see how "Dancer in the dark" fares. Anyone care to enlighten me?

"The End" Danny Elfman - Danny Elfman rocks. The end. This one's from Edward Scissorhands, which is such a fantabulous movie in itself and Danny Elfmans' involvement enhances it massively.

"Michael" Franz Ferdinand - This one both makes me laugh if I'm in the mood and makes me go "Shut up" if my head's busy. Hehe. Funky song though =)

"The morrow" Michael Nyman - I've seen Gattaca and remember thinking it was a good movie. This one's really good _^_

"Caravan" Duke Ellington - Question my sanity if you will but I own "Chocolat" and enjoy it a lot. Both because of the music, chocolate and Johnny Depp *giggle*

"Jinx Jordan" David Arnold - From a Bond movie ("Die another day") and it's quite good *nod nod*

"[More] Girls" The Prodigy - Need to listen to it more, during different moods.

"The letter" PJ Harvey - My older sister had some PJ Harvey and at the time I enjoyed some tracks while not being able to take in others. Should be interesting to listen to some other tracks today and see if I feel the same. This one works well.

"Sunrise" Norah Jones - I like her voice and all her songs on the first album are soothing. Gave mom the second album as a pressie but haven't heard much from it *plots to snatch it* >>

"Phat Planet" Leftfield - Another song that makes me want to bounce around and be productive, lol.

"A child recalled" Elliot Goldenthal - Serene and sad, from the "Final Fantasy" soundtrack. Reminds me a bit of "The Piano" soundtrack. Calming =)

"An echo, a child" Björk - orgasmic. Listening to it feels like having slow, passionate sex with someone.

"What you dream of" Bedrock feat. Kyo - This is a song I could image was playing while Charlie went to that club *giggles*

CD 2

"Debaser" The Pixies - I've gone from not liking it at all to thinking it's pretty good (as long as I don't have an headache or am tired, lol).

"Dissolved Girl" Massive Attack - Jeh introduced this track to me a while back and I instantly fell for it. Great track!

"Mass Destruction" (P*nut and Sister Bliss mix) Faithless - The songs I've heard from Faithless are the ones they've released as singles and as such they're usually really good. This one reminds me of "Weapon of choice" by Fatboy Slim, which isn't a bad thing =)

"Cactus" David Bowie - For each song I hear with David Bowie the more I think it's about time to get an album from him, lol.

"Feeling good" Muse - It's good but I prefer Michael Bublé _^_

"Narayan" The Prodigy - Ambivalent about this one, still. One second it sounds great and then I get annoyed with it ^_^;;;

"Losing my religion" R.E.M - Gorgeous song. Gotta love Michael Stipe ^.^

"The eternal vow" Tan Dun, Yo-Yo Ma - From the "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" soundtrack and I really should get this one myself *notes*

"Overdrive" Foo Fighters - Another group I like but haven't bought anything with. What's wrong with me? lol

"Medulla Oblongata" The Dust Brothers - "Fight Club" track, which almost convinces me to watch the movie >.> It makes me go 'rawr'.

"Memory" Stephanie Lawrence/Andrew Lloyd Webber - Elaine Page really owned this song and although this gal does a good job, my heart is with the original [angsty] version _^_

"House of the Rising Sun" The Animals - Haha, this is one of those tracks that us siblings will burst out singing randomly. Awesome tune 8-)

"Main title/Trinity Infinity" Don Davies - Mmmmmmatrix piece. Me likey.

"Angel" Massive Attack - Just like "Dissolved girl" this one has a style that really appeals to me.

"Toccata" Myleene Klass - Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Did I mention it's gorgeous?

"When the world ends" Dave Matthews Band - Another Matrix tune. This one works as long as I'm not in a funky mood/feel agitable. lol

"Winterlong" The Pixies - Awwww, very easy on the ears. Melodious.

"Keep young and beautiful" Annie Lennox - If it doesn't make me laugh out loud, it manages to make me grin like a fool everytime I hear it. Such a brilliant song!

Power shower

"House of flying daggers" didn't quite wow me as much as "Hero" did. I can't really put my finger on why (or maybe I can and can't be bothered >>) but since it was a pretty movie (though not as beautiful as "Hero") it wasn't a total waste of time to watch ^_^;

Something that has been a waste of time is my fiddling with the code to try and make the music play. *paws at someone to help her*

The cd's Pyro sent me have gotten quite a bit of playtime and amongs the artists/bands on them were a couple of Pixie songs. "Debaser" being the first one, which made me wonder what was so great about the band. But before Shin kills me, I've come around a bit more to them. The Prodigy songs are taking their time to warm up to, mostly because I've not heard much from them (apart from the "Firestarter" period stuff) and it's different from what I have heard, hehe.

All in all, though, there are loads of really great tracks included. Pyro's done a great job in inspiring me to look for more music to broaden my ears with ^.^

Bum bum bum

Went to the video store just now and rented "House of flying daggers". After that I pounced the owner to ask about the possibility of me doing my work rehabilitation there. (I'd even written up a little note with the details of it all to give him, including phone numbers to me and the guy dealing with my case, hehe.) They were familiar with the concept after having had someone doing their rehab work there. He said he'd get back to me so it's still a matter of waiting but hopefully they'll have room/time for me.

Between working there and the grocery store, I'd choose the video store any day. Here's to hoping =)

Hm, I've tried inserting some music *points to note up at the intro* but it won't work. If anyone with coding knowledge could help out, it'd be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Temporary fix by not having a hacked myo and putting the music in the ordinary place. If anyone knows how to embed a music file and have it play at the click of an image, let me know *bows*

EDIT: Fiddled more but it still won't work. Le sigh. Anyone? Bueller?

   All mine

Ok, no more whining from me about pining for certain Man Flesh. Why? Because I've been hooked up with a spunky piece. YES! Mimmi's got some Man Flesh in the end. Hurrah!

He's dark, very handsome, goes by the name Christian and he's all mine. Pyro introduced us and, although we've only just met, I've got a feeling this 'love affair' will last quite some time ^.^

And I know you're all dying to get the yummy details so there won't be any teasing on my part, even though I love to see you squirm ;p

The fairy tale began as I went out to pick up the mail this morning and found a padded envelope with my name on it. Needless to say it didn't take me long to rip it open and gawk at its contents, hehe. There were two cd's filled with promising music (which I will listen to throughout the day) a lovely handwritten letter (which was a joy to read) and last, but certainly not least, was a gorgeous portrait of the darling Christian Bale!

.... *waits for this to sink in and pushes the caps lock key in the meantime*

PYRO - YOU'RE TEH MOST AWESOME ... (ok, it's killing me to use caps so I'll stop now) ... coolies, spaztacular She Flesh and you can rest assured I'll find a nice frame and hang him above my bed *girly giggle*

*thinks it's sunk in now and comforts those who got their hopes up for her sake*

So yes, today I recieved the gorgelicious package from Pyro and it was most wonderous! As already pointed out there was a very suave charcoal pencil drawing of Christian Bale (*resist urge to kiss it*), two cd's filled with some familiar/not so familiar music that shall be filling my room shortly and a heartwarming letter that I had no problem reading *feels bad about her tiny note* >>

I'm positively squeeing with bubbly giddyness, haha. If only mail was like this every day .... then I'd have lost my voice a long time ago and probably be locked up, but it would be nice all the same :p

Update on the work rehabilitation:

So I was called to the local shop today, to hear about what hours I'd be working there as part of my work rehabilitation. After standing around for half an hour I found out that they'd need to go over it (which I thought had been done already), see if they'd have the time to help me learn the ropes/stuffs, and I'll know late next week what's decided.

This lead me to the sneaky notion of asking the video store if they'd have me instead >> I've worked there before and who says no to free labour? (The insurance would cover my pay.)

But yeah, still in limbo. Hurrah.

Oooh, speaking of Limbo *thinks of Limbo Men which makes her think of Pyro and the cd's she sent* There is still some good in the world, Fro-- Hrm.

Confessions in a phone booth

Sötnos - I've always felt a level of attraction towards you but recently I was silly enough to allow that to grow into a crush. For some reason I thought it'd help me move on from my heartache by focusing on someone else, lol. Sorry, add me to the long list of 'crush victims'.

Lovely - I can't help waiting for you. The love bug bit a little too hard and is refusing to let go, sorry.

`Everything must go´

My computer screen refuses to work and is the source of grave annoyance. So much, in fact, that I'm seriously going to write the most stupid post ever if it decides not to work today and kill off what little pride/dignity I have left. Should be fun.

PS: If you saw me on AIM today (my morning) and left me a message only to be greeted with me signing off, it's because the screen died about that time. Sorry.

EDIT: I just cleaned my entire room *__* Dusted and everything. Just gotta whoop the rugs and it'll be spotless. Might get dad to do that, actually >>

PS: Hehe, it looks like the Calvin and Hobbes layout worked a charm.

EDIT 2: Dad let me borrow his computer screen. It's too big and it's making my eyes hurt looking at it. He'll need it back for when he's got work to do on his own computer, of course. We're taking my screen to the shops .... some day and I don't know how long it'll take for it to be fixed. So, eh.

... My back is killing me again. Still need to whoop the rugs.

EDIT 3: I just had to endure listening to my grandmother tell me all about how she dealth with her phlegm. It made me seriously sick to hear about and I nearly threw up on more than one occassion *_*

Things just keep progressing into a state of ... blahness.

`I try to walk in a straight line´

I should save up loads of money and go to America/Canada, visiting *cough*crashing*cough* all you guys. Oh to be in a travelling profession that required little work and good pay. Eheheh.

Odd Sidenote: I dreamt that Michael Bublé tried to get it on with me. Does that mean I'm so starved for Man Flesh that my dreams are starting to take on fantastical proportions? You know, 'I can't have what's realistic so why not go for something really out there' kind of deal?

Yeah, I just expanded on a dream more than needed because I've little else to say. Shame on me >>

AIM extract

???: Server s3x.
???: "Oh baby, let me overclock my CPU on your motherboard"
???: "Insert the RAM gently! I don't want any broken connectors and fire hazards"

My mom is moving stuff around, to make the house look more saleworthy. It's not even on the market yet and I'm getting frustrated at having to gather a search party for the smallest of things. Well, I'm frustrated period. The house is just filled with bad aura or something. Bah, I was in such a good mood too. *kicks bucket*
