Family reunion at ... IKEA O.o

Haha, yeah. The girls (minus myself) wanted to go to IKEA and browse about. Of course mom was too anxious to leave me home alone and too anxious to let my eldest sister drive (thereby allowing dad to stay home too), so what did we do? Yep, we all squeezed into the car and went to IKEA. My older sister got home from England today, swinging by the big store for a meal and some hugs. It was weird to have everyone together [finally] and at IKEA of all places ^_^; Ah well. Maybe there'll be more of that from now on *shrugs and smiles* I managed to only buy 4 small glass containers, mini versions of the big ones that you keep flour/rice/pasta/whathaveyou in. It was one of those moments where I looked at them and thought "... Yeah, want those" and promptly put them in the cart, lol. The others didn't really splurge either, though my younger sister bought this kick-ass (that's used a lot around various myO's there days :p) brontosaurus- esque figurine. Maybe you need to know my family to really get how awesome it is, so I'll just say that it was very her and got some good laughs out of everyone ^_^ My body would've appreciated staying at home and spending time together in a more relaxed manner (seriously, you don't really "spend time together" at IKEA *_*) especially since the weather was so dreadfully awful, making the whole day seem more like a very long evening/night, but I won't complain more than I have. In the end it was a fun trip =) In case anyone's worried about Solo, I can tell you that he's safely back in England. I'm not sure how much he'll be around for a while, seeing as college/plays (and hopefully SLEEP *cough*) will zap quite a lot of time out of his schedule. Therefore I ask you all to go by his place and leave some hugs/kisses/gropes/whatever action you'd like to take, to make sure he knows we won't forget about him while he entertains the masses ^___^ Oh, the Sheep is back in the intro. As if you didn't notice already :p I love you all to bits *squishes*

My knight in shining armour should be somewhere in England right now, making his way homeward. I can't help but feel guilty about the very long journey he's forced to take, even though it's not really my fault the world is shaped the way it is :p Having Solo over was wonderful beyond words, so I won't talk more about it XP Hehe. Hopefully it was a welcome break from everything for him, as it certainly was for me. Let's all give him our best for the oncoming slaugh--- trial--- college life >> As for myself... Well, my eldest sister is home for 2 days (the younger one is still here too) so I've got people to keep me company. And there's all you great people too *hugs everyone tightly* Expect to see me more frequently around your MyO's now ~_^ *glances over at bed* I'm almost tempted to sleep on the sofa, just to keep the scent for as long as possible ^_^;;;; Toodles!

The reason you've seen more of Solo and not me is because I'm trying very hard to be a good host. (Not to mention the fact that he makes better updates than me :P) Though I can't help but think that I make a better Literati host than an acual host =\ It's been ages since I had friends and the like over for the day, let alone for several days, heh. The plan for having Solo over was to get him to relax as much as possible, since school was so stressful and probably will be even more stressful once he returns. I'd hate to think that he'll return completely worn out as opposed to relaxed and less able to cope with the stress =( In any case, I plan to subject him to as much Naruto as I can, from today and onwards. That should be sort of relaxing, in a way ^_^; So if you'll excuse me, I need to ask dad to help me move the sofa into my room *waves* I hope everyone's taking care of themselves and each other. Guess who's coming for dinner?

That's another old classic I've not seen but know of (well, I know the plot and that Sydney Poitier is in it >>). Come to think of it, that's the case with a lot of old classics. I'll quote lines from them but never get 'round to actually see them. Seeing (haha) as apparently they're good enough to be quoted, they should also be decent enough to watch, eh? .... No, this post wasn't meant to be about old movies or movies that I've not seen. It was merely something to get the post started with. You're not at Shin's place you know. There'll be no thoughtworthy stuff going on here :p Well, I promised you it'd be revealed today and voila´. Promise kept ^_^ What? NGAH!

The other computer in the hosue has broken down, somehow, so dad borrowed mine today. Dad is sick and I just realised that his germs are in my room!!! GNHAHGÖOIHSDFH.... *opens the window to max and burns scented candles* Die vile germs! DIE! ............... My throat feels funny O_O ............... Anyway --- .... I feel paranoid about having the window open =\ And this post is complete an utter nonsense so I'll strike it over now and see what I can salvage. My dad's had a cold for a week now and I've been trying to avoid him best I can >> But today he asked to borrow the computer since the other one has broken down due to mysterious circumstances. The screen won't even come on, he says. And because he's been in my room for a couple of hours, it makes me worry that his germs are still lingering and will make me sick even though I've tried to ---- GAH, his coughing is driving me batty! And he'll still need to borrow the computer tomorrow or on Monday to sort out the bills, which he hasn't done yet *major rollage of eyeballs* I'm tempted to give him my creditcard to an electronics shop and have him get a new computer as long as he doesn't have to spend more time in my room =X Other than that I'd just like to say, once more, that the garage is looking uber cool and there's a corner in my room that would make an excellent reading corner. A slight shift of furniture could make it so. Everything's in order, everything's in place. Everything is waiting. For what? Well ... That's for tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow *giggles and smiles*

I get by with a little help from my Friends =)

Kenji - I'm not really sure how we met, but since he used to hang out a lot in the Art Forum and I enjoy going there from time to time to comment, it's most likely it started out from there. During one of my more downy periods we talked a lot over AIM and he cheered me up immensely (utilizing a webcam, lol). He's really good with his bass guitar, has a real sweet doggy and do really spiffy graphics =) Adam - Well, he's the Founder of this place so it makes sense that I follow his account :p (Adam (10/24/03) I like your site a lot Mimmi. Keep it up!) AJ - OB chats, hehe. He was one of the more early victims of my pants thefts. I've recently discovered that he's a very prolific poet on top of being cool :o Sarah - I actually lurked about her place for a while, thinking she was too cool for me to try and approach -^_^- She's still too awesome for me to approach but I don't let it bother me now ;P Be sure to check out her writing too! So much fun in the oddest of ways. *giggles like a school girl*) Annie - Another friend who I got to know better through OB chats and whom I missed while she was gone, doing a boot camp of sorts (I can't remember what it's properly called, sorry >>).
