Yes, I will be talking a little about Kill Bill. It'll be put in spoilers at the end of this post (if I can get it into spoiler code, that is), so it won't be ruined for those who haven't seen it ^_^
After watching the movie I am kind of tempted to play with ideas for the upcoming "Kill Adam II" sign up, but that's going a bit far right now, I think. Seeing Kill Bill last night, reading the last chapter of Kill Adam and then seeing Kill Bill again, really sparked my imagination though ~_^
... but onto other matters before giving a very brief opinion of the movie :p
The stereo in our car was stolen two days ago. Why was it stolen ? Well, an unlocked car door probably had something to do with it *loud coughing* I can't tell you how many times I've bugged dad about locking the doors and he's waved if off. That's what happens when you're not careful (even in a quiet town such as ours), so it irked me more that he got in a bad mood about it than the stereo actually being stolen. Hrm.
On a more positive note, my mom bought a massage bench really cheap ^___^ She's taking this year-long course about skin care and, aside from the beauty stuff, they're required to learn massage as well. Mom's always been great at massage, something that's benefitted me greatly (boy did I have troubles with my muscles when I was younger, bah) and it'll spare her back immensly to have a proper workstation, I'm sure.
If it weren't for the fact that I have a silly cold at the moment, I would've gladly signed up for a rub -_-;;
You see, whenever a cold hits my body, it goes inward. So there's not a lot of snivelling and coughing. Instead I just get really bad fever spells and a constant painful aching all over. The aching sort of inhibits my breathing also, which isn't pleasant ;_;
(And you're not supposed to have a massage when you're sick anyway *nods*)
But on the bright side, the colds usually don't last that long and sometimes they even disappear after a nap ^_^
Let's talk Kill Bill ~_^
[Where do I start ? Kill Bill was a [audio]visual fiest. From the opening song "Bang bang" to the end credits, I was blown away. For some reason I was apprehensive about seeing this movie, since many were saying it was really violent and bloody. That really isn't a problem for me, as long as it's executed (heh) in a fashion that focuses more on the choreography and style, than merely be about getting a reaction from the audience.
And sure, there was much decapitation going on and blood flowed quite extensively, but it was all done with a humorous touch.
There were many details that had more of an impact than the squirting blood and decapitated limbs, though. Such as the lighting on Uma Thurman's character (as well as Hattori Hanzo in the attic) – one example is when she's standing on the banister and giving her little speech in Japanese, after fighting the 'Crazy 88'. It’s a really neat effect.
Or the changes in color (the sheriff taking off his green tinted glasses) and the camera angles … I could go on forever, hehe.
Everything is perfectly accompanied by a soundtrack that feels like a second skin to the body of this story, this journey. It goes back and forth from sad and serious, to playful and deadly.
I can understand why Tarantino waited for Uma, because she really owned that part. Everyone felt like they were meant for their roles, there was no hesitation or doubt in their performances.
So far I've only seen it twice (there is so much to take in and play over in my head that I can't do a better 'review' than this right now) and it needs to go back way too soon for my liking. ]
Looks like I'll be expanding my DVD collection ~_^

Yummy ^_^
Whew, I am so full ^__^
Just made/ate meatballs (with sauce and boiled potatoes) and I'm getting better and better at this dish. Usually I'd let dad do it, because he always makes the most delicious meatball-mix. But now he has to watch out - I'm getting the hang of this *triumphant pose*
Overall I'm beginning to enjoy my cooking more, which is quite pleasant. It means that the time spent in front of the stove isn't wasted and I don't have to rely on others to help me out with my favourite meals :p
There were some ingredients missing, so my older sister and I went grocery shopping. We also stopped by the videostore (rented "Kill Bill", finally) and a little boutique with make-up and jewellery. My sister bought some looped earrings, while I got myself a cool necklace and this really spiffy earring (yes, earring - singular).
It's difficult to explain what they look like in words, so hopefully I'll be able to get a photo of it or something ~_^
Later on I got my hair straightened (yes, my hair was straight before *lol*) and now it's really soft and shiny, teehee. Hrm, enough girly-girly.
Now it is time for Kill Bill ! ^__^

Sunshine on my window
I am about to give you a link that is very juvenile, but (to a certain degree) quite humorous: Bathroomlife.com
My older sister found it and showed me, so blame her :p
And I strongly urge you to go to Yahoo and do a search on "Pikachu" images. There are so many fun pictures of people dressed up as the furry little bundle of cuteness, you will find yourself bent over laughing until you can't breathe. Not to mention all the lifesize Pikachu's people are posing with :D
If you're too lazy (or have no time) to look for yourself, here are some links:
[EDIT] Eeeeep, I'm so sorry about the weird ads, I have one of them blocker things, so I had no idea something like that would pop up -_-;;;;;
Anyway, all the links I posted were all before page 50, I'm sure..... *cough* Yeah, I got up to about page 65 ^_^;;;; [/EDIT]
And to wrap the post up, I will comment on your comments ^_^
Azure: Yes, there is no end to the sillyness *huggles* ^_^
Desbreko: Can't say I know what kind of drum that is, but anything that can be played along videogame music is cool in my book :D
Panda: Yesh, I think you said that when I mentioned bowling last ;p
It's still cool though ^_^
Chie: I will go bowling soon, rest assured >:D
Hehe, there's not much left of the weekend but I hope you've enjoyed yours !
Baron: Jellybabies. Got it *scribbles it down*
Why I like the Naruto music so much ? Oh my ... well, some tracks are really emotionally powerful and hits that special place in me that it takes a lot to get to. Others are just very playful and makes me giddy and happy. It's a great mix. The style of the songs are right up my alley ^__^
Claire: Bowling is awesome fun ! And I tried to sign your guestbook earlier, but it wasn't there =\ Are you sure you've got it turned On ?
Charmi: Bowling is great for innuendo (and browsing) ~_^
I hope you're having a great time in Cali ! Go easy on the Sennenator ;p
Arcadia: I've yet to be midnight bowling, but it would be totally awesome ! *rawr* We would be grandiosely bad ~_^
Take Care Everyone !
Remember that People and Objects are only as much fun as you make of them ^_^

Wooooohoooo !!!
Eeeee, the Naruto music is just absolutely spiffylicious ! ^___^
I can't help but dance around to it *shimmy*
Though some songs make me bawl ;_; That's balanced by the ones that make me fall over laughing though XD
Ehm, anyway. I want to go bowling, but I don't---- GAH, this song is soooo good *rawrs*--- know when that'll happen so --- *drums on her desk*--- if you have any questions or answers --- eeeee, can't sit still !--- for me, go ahead ^_^

I'm having an Angst Party and you're not invited :p
("I'm having a birthday party and you're not invited" - What's eating Gilbert Grape)
*makes mental note for herself and everyone reading this*
No matter how much I love my little sister, it is not a good idea to lock myself up in my room with her for 3 days straight and watch an anime that makes me highly emotional. Especially not when I hate spoilers and she digs them up -_-;;;;
Seriously, there was a major plot issue that got "resolved" and I looked at her with a huge smile and went "Tada !", upon which she responded "... I know".
That is one of the reasons I don't like sharing interests with her (be it a game or anime), since she'll go search for information (also known as SPOILERS) and then "try not to tell me about them". Which of course irks me, beyond belief.
I don't mind guessing what's gonna happen, but since this show has a natural progression and "plot holes" eventually unfolds (if only given time), I - do - not - want - to - know - about - them - beforehand and it feels like she's missing out on what it's all about when she does that. *breathes*
... This whole deal has made me realise how little I like having people in my room constantly (as in every waking hour of the day), haha. Seriously, this place is my sanctuary from all the angst and frustration. A retreat, if you will. So when it tries to leak its way in here, I just want to kick it out.
And there has been a lot of angsting lately, both on my part and several people around me. That usually doesn't affect me too much. I'll try to help out, without letting it rub off on me. But lately I've been kind of vulnerable and due to the multitude of negative feelings (and how people don't deal with them or in a way that doesn't really solve anything), it got to me. Heh.
As for graduation, I'm not the least bit sad that I missed it. It might've come off as that, but let me assure you that's not the case.
The actual graduating would've just meant that I would have had to endure the attention from relatives that has a tendency to be overbearing and still not have a clue what to do with my life. No big loss there :p
Why didn't I graduate ? Hm, let me think back. *cuts down on the irrelevant depressing stuff* :p
Basically you have to go to school until you're 16, then you either go to more school (3 years first and then you're finished or go on to more studying) or you call it quits and get a job.
A year before I turned 16, I was fed up with everything school related (which includes a lot, hehe). I did try twice to do the 3 years, at different schools and with different "career" prospects. But it just didn't work out.
I did however take some classes that would add up to equal a high school diploma. There's only Math and Social Studies left, which I'll get around to.. some day *LOL*
That year (I was 17, going on 18) actually went surprisingly well, mostly because the enviroment was so different from what I had experienced thus far. The people who took the classes were older (ranging from those who had just graduated and wanted to better their grades, up to people in their 40's and upwards) and everyone was there because they wanted to be there. It was a real healty atmosphere and I thrived.
In conclusion (since I've completely forgotten my point and direction):
There are no sad faces here for "missing" graduation, because when I looked into the mirror yesterday... I thought I looked rather good ~_^;;;
I also know that there's potential within me and for me, not to mention the endless stream of possibilities *silly pose*
The best thing about angsting is getting over it :D
And I'm over this one *kills it with a smile*
^__^
*huggles everyone for being wonderful*

At least the mirror smiled at me
I live next to a school and people were graduating today.
Lots of baloons and white clothing, plaques and loud music.
I never graduated.
In fact, there are a lot of things I've never done.
Something that I will be doing right now, is make dinner.
[EDIT] Dad beat me to it.... ah well *eats dinner* [/EDIT]
Yum, Yum
*huggles everyone*

"You bring out the best in me"
I've got my younger sister hooked on Naruto :D At first I wasn't sure what she thought, because for the first couple of episodes she pretty much just sat in my couch and laughed at the funny parts. But when she said "Man, Kakashi is cool", I knew. The bouncing and the "Aaaah ! Wooo ! Nooo ! Why'd they stop there ?! I want more !!!" also gave it away ;p
[EDIT] Becky ! We're at the Exams and all :D Ugh, why are the days so short !? You can only squeeze in so many episodes in one day ;_; [/EDIT]
Unfortunately my older sister couldn't join in, because she's having problems with her good eye (she was born early, got too much oxygen, the retina on her left eye was damaged, she had surgery and basically she's visually impaired). She's going to the hospital today, to have it checked out and hopefully it won't be anything serious. It'd be horrible for her to loose what sight she has left.
[EDIT] She got a thorough examination and the doctor put it down to allergies *huge sigh* Thanks for the kind thoughts, you guys ^_^ [/EDIT]
But at least the oldest sister seems to be ok. I talked to her over the phone yesterday and she's bought train tickets to come down and see us (for 1 day *grumbles*) by the end of June. Should give me a chance to get some more bowling in ~_^
*huggles everyone*

Summarization of Troy:
… Is Troy a comedy ? O.o;;;;;
Please don’t kill me, but I laughed a lot ^_^;;;; And the fact that my sister and her friend are so amusing, didn't help :p
Sean Bean >:D
That guy is such an amazing actor. *shakes fist at Tolkien/Jackson for killing him off* >_>;;;
His performance was gold, all the way through. Not a single moment of cringyness. And that voice of his…. *dies* I want/need him to record a cd where he reads aloud from a book or something !!! O.o;;
The awesome fight between Eric Bana and Brad Pitt.
Yes, it was awesome. Everything from how they were choreographed, to how it was shot. Rawr.
Endless Posing
There was so much of it. And Brad Pitt's pouting in particular made me laugh so hard.
Orlando Bloom needs to stop relying on his face and start acting. Though he did great as a miserable twat, that was the best part of all his screen time >_>;
Accents
Why on earth was Brad Pitt trying to adapt a British accent ? It came off really bad. And why didn't Eric Bana use more of his Aussie accent ? *pout*
Hmmm, that's what I can think of right now. I went in with no expectations and it was an ok way to spend a Saturday evening ^_^ Ooo, and I need to find out who sang the end credit song… *skips off*
BrotherhoodSisterhood
Oh, almost forgot to answer SG's inquiry about how many sisters I actually have *lol* We are 4 kids in total, so I have 3 sisters. 2 older (28, 25) and 1 younger (20).
Vroooom, that's about as much sense as I can make now... if I've made any at all in this post, that is ^_^;;;
*HUGGLES*

"Hush, hush darling"
Hehe, I'll be going to see "Troy" in a matter of hours. Really didn't think I would ever see that one, but my sister is going with her friend and invited me along. It's a way to spend a Saturday night, I suppose :p
Other than that, I'm really really sleepy. For no reason apart from that I am. Haha.
Say what you will in the comment box _^_

"Baby, now that I found you"
Mmmm, I'm slowing down with my writing. It was going a bit fast and the idea of not doing the story justice concerned me. And I think the story is at a point where a few more days won't kill anyone, hehe.
I'm really glad you're all enjoying it, because I'm sure having a blast exploring these characters and understanding where they come from. Which might not come across fully in the story, but it's there and I know it. It really is a fantastic feeling to [feel that you're able to] create a little world and seeing it expand .... *happy sigh* Teehee ^__^
My oldest sister is the only one who hasn't [been forced to] read it yet, but that will change shortly >:D ....
And speaking of sisters:
This weekend my younger sister is visiting, so I expect to share a few laughs with her. Though I am a bit scared to leave the comfort of my room at the moment. You see, dad's sick and I really don't want to catch anything right now >_<;;; He's been couching an awful lot and looks run down in general, poor thing.
Hopefully the weather will be nice and us girls can sit out on the porch or something (thereby avoiding any germs lurking in the house, heh) ^_^
*adds replies to comments from last post*
Chie: *giggles and hugs* You're so sweeeet :D But you need to stop apologising for things you can't control ~_^
You take care too ^_^
Liam: Not even to my cellphone ? :p
Becky: *courtseys back* I almost feel like taking you dancing now *LOL* ... Where I get my ideas ? Moments of inspiration, basically ^_^ Hm, that might be something for a myO update *ponders further* See ?! Moment of inspiration XD
DDG: *lol* feel free to come by any time *hands her an open invitation certificate* :D
*eats crisps to strengthen her immune system*
