I've been feeling off for about a week or so now but it's only ever lasted a day or so. Yay for being able to sleep away most colds >.>

But come Monday my body couldn't hold off anything. It started nice enough in the morning with me being very optimistic about going job hunting. Got sleepy while printing out some papers to take with me and had a nap. Dreamt I was really sick. So it's no surprise it all went downhill after waking up.

By midnight my throat was hurting bad, head spinning all over the place, etc etc. Tuesday morning = pure agony. Having barely slept at all I moved out into the living room sofa at 7-ish, my stomach begging for a good heave. Managed to drink a glass of nutritional liquid and spent about 2 uncomfortable hours on the couch, sleeping a little, before heading back to bed again. With the stomach still aching to hurl I tried to get together some sort of breakfast around noon but failed miserably, having to lie down on the floor wishing I would just pass out.

Quickly scrambled myself together, threw whatever I took out of the fridge back in and scampered off to my bed. Laid absolutely still for a while before attempting breakfast again. Mixed together another nutritional drink with the speed of light and shakily nibbled on one slice of toast. Congratulating myself on that amazing feat I tried to use the computer. Didn't go very well.

Off to bed again, where I remained until Mom came home around 1.30PM and by then I was a bit more alive. Translation: I was running such a high fever that my brain couldn't care to register how sick I was :p

Slept away most of the day, managing to eat 2 whole slices of toast later in the evening. w00t.

Today - at 3 in the afternoon - I'm starting to feel slightly better. Throat doesn't hurt as much, nose in less pain and my head is spinning more slowly. Appetite seems to be coming back. Slightly. The body isn't aching too badly, either.

I might have to take it just as easy tomorrow as well for it to die down even quicker but I'm [fully aware that I should be] really thankful my version of the flu isn't as horrible as others. That's something to be glad about *nods*

.... My neighbour's alarm just went off.... Ok, bye bye.
