Sorry for not appearing much here lately. Suddenly dad's letting me work more at the house and it's been a great distraction from missing people, as well as a great learning experience. Power tools are fun *grins*

Though we had a break-in two days ago. The only things they took were two screwdrivers, which suggests it was kids with no brains - if we were talking hard-core criminals there wouldn't have been a single power tool left. No damage was done either, except for dad and his mood. It swung pretty rapidly, dragging me down with it. It's hard to feel upbeat when someone's being pissy, lol.

(After watching House MD this week I'm in love with saying "I've been pissy" XD!!!)

But yesterday he'd cheered up, so working with him was ok again. Juliette (youngest sister) came by to help out. She surprised me by picking up the art of putting up ceiling tiles really fast. Though her balance was as bad as mine XD It's not easy keeping track of getting the tile in the right place, not falling over, making sure it's correctly positioned and then securing it to the ceiling; all on a narrow piece of board placed between two supporting supports.

Yay for us :p

What's not so yay is that earlier this week I managed to drop my phone from the second floor. It broke into a couple of pieces while my spirit crumbled quickly. With my finances not being set in stone right now I really didn't want to fork out money for a new one. HOWEVER! I put the broken pieces together again, they clicked into place and the phone still works O_O

Thank you Nokia D:

And that's all I've got time for right now. Dad's ready to swoosh me away to the house for some more child labour power-tooling.

<3 to Everyone!
