*snuggles Shnookums*
You know, I've never really been the teddy bear kind of person, but Shnookums is absolutely wonderful and gets at least a cuddle a day ^__^
He's very nice to have when watching a movie, providing warmth and ... cuddleness.
It was very nice to cuddle up to him yesterday when my sister and I watched "Spirited Away". Twice. It could've been thrice, but it was 2 am and I was getting sleepy :p
That movie is wonderful. Very much like "Princess Mononoke", which I must get my hands on. The pace, artistry, music, plot; it's all so ... so... 'mmmmm'. Maybe if I were Japanese, I'd not be so amazed with how they tell the story, but since my culture is [most likely] vastly different from theirs, I feel a sense of 'magic' when watching them.
Unfortunately it didn't have an English subtitle option, but I suppose I should be grateful it still had the original voicetracks *shudders at thought of Swedish dub* Maybe I'll give that a listen if I feel brave... maybe.
Buuuuut. The great news is that I now have a 'multiregional' DVD player, meaning I can buy DVD's from anywhere I'd like and watch them on my telly :D Dad bought a DVD/VCR combo (the same as mine) and upgraded it to accomodate all regions and then he let me have it. Talk about testing my ability to restrain myself and not go mad on a DVD spree +_+
Vrooom. The working out is going surprisingly well, though I found out today that you shouldn't work out if you're really, really hungry ... Luckily I could eat dinner a bit later on ^_^; Lesson well learned, yes.
Now on to do other things, like pestering my younger sister while she plays FFX :D
