Pa-thet-ic - - Pathetic
Ugh, yes. What the subject title says. A cold has tried to get a grip on me for the past few days, but so far I've been able to fend it off. This morning I woke up and could barely breathe. Oh joy. After tossing and turning and getting frustrated over the general discomfort, I got up. By that time it was slightly easier to breathe, at least.

"Good thing I did my workout yesterday, so I won't have to worry about straining myself today", thought I. You may all go ahead and laugh in my face as I tell you what happened next.

The younger sister is helping dad out with delivering papers that the paperboys/girls fail to hand out in the morning. This is fairly easy, since it's usually only a couple of papers and you always find the letterbox... in the end *cough*

"Hey, it would be nice to get out and get some fresh air. Not to mention my sister doesn't know her way too well around the town (never mind there is a map in the phonebook that she could use as a guide), so I should go with her. Piece of cake, done in a jiffy", thought I.

It went wrong at the very first address. We had barely left the street when she realised it was the wrong letterbox. No biggie. It was just around the corner. But as we had reached the next name on the list, on the other side of town, she said 'whoops' and informed me that she had dropped off the wrong paper....

Meh. By now I was really feeling worse for wear. Still I volunteered to bike back and fix it for her. Only problem was, the letterbox was one of those who have a very narrow opening and needs to be opened with a key. In other words: I had to knock on the house and explain the situation. Which can be deadly if the person is angry they didn't get their paper when they were supposed to get it. But this was an old, friendly man and he was very good about it. Phew.

After that I caught up with my sister again (on the other side of town *stresses point*) and we found the last houses (with a little help from dad, who's working extra as a mailman this summer). It came up to about 7 papers and a little over half an hour of biking (in windy weather). She went back home to prepare for her job and I bought some groceries from the store, before heading home. So I exercised even though I wasn't supposed to... silly me.

I'm just feeling very pathetic right now. Et all.

Charmi: I will look into the possibilities of this, at once *trips over her own feet* ... Or in a minute ...

Exotahu4: Yesh, it was very awe-inspiring *nod*

Sarah: I shall look at that link later today, thank you for sharing ^__^

Arcadia: *sends a warm hello from Shnookums* :D

DDG: You know, with all these great movies we need to see ... we should get paid for watching them, because we certainly won't have time to do anything else if we ever want to catch up *swoons* And that dragon sounds impressive O.o

Liam: Not to my knowledge ... It just means I can watch Region 1 and Region 4 (instead of only Region 2), not that I can view pirate DVD's (which I have no intention of doing anyway).... Or maybe you were just being silly and teasing me .. *rubs eyes*

*goes back to bed*
