Last year (lolsies) I had this idea for a wallpaper in the size 1920*1200 to give away to a certain person with that resolution. Ultimately it didn't meet my expectations and was filed away. With the announcement of making widescreen sizes available here at theO I decided to give it another go, starting from scratch, using only one key element from the "scrapped" material.

Mostly because I didn't have the layers saved (didn't think it necessary due to bad results) and in hopes of making it slightly better than the original ^^; Being the nit-picking plonker that I am it took quite more effort this time. Funny thing is I only really got stuck on the simplest aspect of the whole thing: wording. It's hard to be sententious when, ordinarily, you're not used to being restricted with space.

Once that kink has been worked on beyond reason *cough* it was pretty smooth sailing. At times it saddened me that I have only cutting and pasting to resort to when it comes to artistic ventures (not possessing the artistic talent to free-hand anything) but the process makes me happy enough to not care too deeply :p

Something that struck me in the middle of this project was how tricky it is to manage clutter so it doesn't look unbalanced and at the same time make sure it doesn't look too .... thought out. Alongside that particular issue can be added perspective, scale, shading, etc. Though I tried to some degree to make it appear somewhat proportional and whatever (failing miserably) >.>

(The wallpaper's layers are still pretty workable if anyone wants to give me pointers!)

In the end I overlooked on tiny detail. The new wallpaper sizes aren't operational yet xD Ah well, it's done and I can start pondering an eventual work on the follow-up wallpaper =)

Mecha Tiser: Ok, this one's lame *hides* My brain just thought it was funny that you had Mecha nestled inside your name ^^;

Speaking of sleep, I've burnt this compilation cd with soothing songs that I put on if sleep's not settling in. Is that trick something that you could be helped by?

Pika-Schü: Dad recommended it first but the fact that a kid in his school had shown it to him scared me off watching it >.> Then an acquaintance told me it was good and hey pesto :p

Becky-Boo: :O!!! You're going to Japan again? When, how, where, what, why, etc? *bounces on chair* Smooch on you, by the way :3

Evilexa: I feel loved ;____; *glomps madly* And it must be reiterated what everyone else has said: your poems are fantabulous, my dearest <3

Sarahstical: That would leave me sleepless for a while O_O; Hey, if you were in a zombie movie, would you want to be one of the survivors or a zombie or a victim of a zombie attack? :o
