Chips ... crisps ... potatoes dripped in salt and grease.
Thanks for the awesome replies to my post *gushes over everyone* And to those who've signed my Guestbook ... I swear I'll get 'round to it ^_^;;;
I'm feeling rather lazy today and that's being blamed on the chips/crisps I ate earlier. It's more of a relaxed feeling than utter boredom or apathy, which is nice.
I mean it's nice it isn't apathy or anything like that, hehe.
My older sister is going through a Kevin Bacon phase and had ordered some DVD's where he featured. No one had anything better to do and Kevin is nice to look at and he can act, so we watched "She's having a baby". Can't say that it's a brilliant movie, but there was one scene that was really good.
(I doubt I'll give anything away by saying she's having a baby, seeing as that is the title of the movie)
While the wife is giving birth to the baby, Kevin is waiting in the (tada) waiting room. The lighting of the room is just perfect, as is the placing of the people in there. A ballad is playing in the background and it goes from showing his face to flashbacks of moments with his wife. It was really effective *nods*
My sister was doing the dishes while I had my dinner and she was singing. The tune reminded me of another song but I didn't know the lyrics to it or who made it. So I hummed it to those who were in the kitchen (because someone will always know, it's like a natural law or something, lol) and it turned out it was "Annie's Song" by John Denver. Mom said we had it on ... ehm "vinyl" ?, so I'll go see if I can dig it out when I'm done with the post ^_^
"Annie's Song" John Denver
You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again
Come let me love you
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you
Let me always be with you
Come let me love you
Come love me again
You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again
