The Bog of Eternal Stench [Edited at the end]
- *scratches HTML-ing* -

Yep, last night my sisters and I sat down to watch "The Labyrinth". It was part of the bundle of DVD's my older sister bought recently (the Kevin Bacon-ness, remember ?), which I failed to mention *is ashamed*

Arcadia raved about this movie and she's cool, so I knew that it had to be good. Having seen the movie I now know that it's awesome and that makes me wonder just how far Arcadia's coolness can go ~_^

- mmm, soft one *eats candy* -

David Bowie was a lot better than expected, though his "package" was hard (har-har) to ignore. The spiffy make-up and hair made him look very attractive (compared to when he had none on). Too bad they didn't do anyhting with his teeth, though I suppose it gave him a 'scary factor' or something :p

Jennifer Connelly was also brilliant (a lot more so than in Hulk, oddly enough) and gave everything a real 'Alice feel'. I loved how she interracted with all the cast ^_^

Wheee for Mr Henson and the puppets ! Likewise for the awesome sets ! And let's include everything else about this movie, because it rocks ~_^

- *turns off her mobile phone* -

Well, my oldest sister called after the movie had ended and we were watching the 'extras' (after 10 in the evening), asking about the amusement park thingy which was supposed to happen today (at least if you go by what had been planned weeks ago). The day before that (Thursday) she had informed mom that she had a fever and was feeling less than good, so we all assumed that she wouldn't take the journey from Stockholm to Gothenburg. Turns out she had indeed bought a ticket and was in Gothenburg, at friends and had been so since early Friday morning .... but called around 10.30 in the evening .... *reflects on all the 'had' in that paragraph*

- *eats more candy* -

With both the older sisters not feeling very well and stuff, we decided to postpone it to some other day/weekend. (In other words, I doubt it'll happen this year *cynic*) This means we've missed this magician/performer that puts on a show every year along with other artists (such as tight/loose rope walkers, jugglers and so on) and that's a bit of a shame. But there's always next year. No major harm done here. It was pretty much expected and I had prepared for it *dramatic gloomy look* <-- See ?

- *puts on her exercise outfit* -

Dad stepped in to help out with the money but dad, coupled with math, made me feel like this : ?_?''''
In any case, that's sorted. It's just too bad that it puts strain on my parents financial situation. Right now isn't the time to be lenient and it worries me slightly that maybe he's going out on a limb when there's little need for it.

- *prepares to do battle with insecurity, apathy and whatever else ends with a WHY* -

I'll edit in comments on the comments later ... maybe ... if I can remember ... *bows apologetically and exits*

EDIT

*poses next to the beat down exercise bike*

Victory is mine and to celebrate I shall comment on the comments from the previous post ! (Today's comments will be commented on in the comment box of today *curtsey*)

Solo: Well, I already commented in the comment box, so let's settle for just the hug *hugs* ^_^

Julian: Yes and both little and small things are equally bad. But they can be dealth with, with various tricks !

James: I shall comment on each and every episode, because I love yo--- The Matrix and its universe ;p
After only seeing a fraction of the DVD it's easy to understand your enthusiasm *smiles*

imacrimsonspaz: The amusement park plan might have fallen through, but there are plenty of other things to see through :D *hugs*

Rustym: Haha, even if the trip turns out to be disastrous (which I highly doubt) it'll be a cake walk due to all the preparation :p

Chie: Yeppers, the finances should be just fine and so will I/my sister *huggles back* You have a great weekend !

Zidargh: .... I'm not sure I should tell you anything, LOL. Just kidding. London is the destination, but if you want to meet me it'll have to be very briefly. Most of the time is already taken up I'm afraid. I'll go through things with my sister and we'll see after that ^_^

MC: My sister's doing a lot better now (especially after those two pieces of cake, hrm), so no need to worry about nasty hospitals :D
And yes, the power of the squirrels doth compell me *_*

SG: The good thing about dirt is that it can be washed away ! *soaks herself in chocolate* ... or would water work better ? ... Nah, hehe *glomps*
