Do you ?
Ah, it feels good to get some exercise done again. These past few days I've stayed away from the garage, out of concern that any exercise would render my immune system to zero. A cold isn't something that needs to be on my agenda right now, heh.
Another thing I do not want in my calender is a wedding. Yes, you heard me right.
My younger sister called home yesterday (I think) and among all the things she spoke to mom about, she said that a friend had proposed to her.
"O.o Someone proposed to her ? My ickle sister has been courted ?" was my first reaction. Closely followed was "... O_O What did she answer !?".
Apparently a guy friend (duh), that she's known for a while, sent her a text message and asked if she was interested in marriage. That piece of information alone made me seriously wonder about him, haha. Is that how it's done nowadays ? Sad >>
Anyway. Her reaction to it was rather ... interesting. She laughed until she cried ^_^; After composing herself she politely declined, saying she'd rather stay friends. He took it rather well.
(The guy was pretty desperate to find someone and his family has been at him to get married too, according to my sister. So although I think he was seriously interested, it might not have been his intention to go that far so soon. Heh.)
A lot of thoughts rushed through my head when mom told me about it. Sorting them out would be difficult, but mainly it scared me that she'd be about to go through the same heartache as my two other sisters and I really don't want that for her.
And also, she's my younger sister. Getting a proposal. That sort of spins my head a bit. Heh. It's comforting to know she's got a good head on her shoulders and hopefully won't get into the same situation as my oldest sister. We don't want a repeat of that.
Speaking of my younger sister, she'll [finally] come home on Monday and spend the night. That means we'll have some time to spend together and not be forced to rush our Naruto watching/whatever we get up to ^__^ I'm thinking we'll rent Zoolander and watch together, hehe. She's expressed a liking to the movie, though I don't remember if she's seen it or not.
Now I must concentrate on my Literati >>
