Run Reverend, run !

Did you know that Literati accepts the word 'dateless' ? Yesh, it's the ultimate due-age to those who can't get it on. *cough*

Speaking of Literati (thought I'd say something else there, didn't you?), because Shin decided to have a life I had to find new people to play with. Which is easier said than done.

When you're in the middle of a game you can easily get swamped by invitations but when you actually sit and wait for someone to join [in], you get nothing. Or at least, it takes a long time to finally get some action.

Which could bring us on a tangent about dates and all that stuff. But I'll save myself the trip and carry on with the Literati talk.

So, after thinking I'd never find someone willing to play a game or two, someone joined the table I created. This person didn't say much, aside from returning my 'hello'. Which was fine, since small talk isn't that much fun with complete strangers (not in Literati anyway).

For a long time I was losing pretty badly. Then when my luck finally turned and I was leading with 20 points, the person suddenly disappears. Thinking it might be a disconnection going on, I waited. When he/she didn't come back, I had Alan finish the game with me.

Later on the magnificant HC asked me for a game and we battled it out. It was fun to play with someone you know, though I've not communicated much with him outside MyO, hehe. Still, great game ^_^

He had to go to lunch though, so once again my quest to find gamers was renewed. Lo and behold, the girl got lucky pretty fast that time around :p

Alltogether I played 3 games in a row (1 with one person and 2 with another) and even though my opponents managed to do a bingo in 2 of the 3 games, scoring over 50 points, Mimmi clawed her way back and won all the games :D

[<< Ego boost, ego boost >>]

The last game was the most fun, learning that 'Parmesan' is not an accepted word, while 'Nasties' is and that 'g1' is short for 'good one'.

OB and MyO has lured me away from the wonderful knowledge of internet speech ;P

Random thought: I remember people being irked about the Architects monologue in Matrix Reloaded. It struck me last night, before falling asleep, that it's a great ... something. Grr, evil lack of knowing words. (I'd better get that Thesaurus soon *cough*)

I mean, humans are supposed to be inferior to machines in this story. So it makes sense that he's using the fancy way to get a very simple message out to Neo.

That is amplified by the 'reactions' of Neo, which is ... uhm, very basic. To put it nicely, heh.

/Random thought

I would love to share more Naked Mining Guy, but sadly there is no more. The guy who makes these awesome 3d's hasn't been active for a long time and I've yet to get a reply to my e-mail, which I sent months ago. So we'll just have to make due with what we can have. And that's still pretty good, if you ask me :D

Welp/warble/other random funny word, I need to take care of stuff.

Take care everyone !

PS: The flooding wasn't so bad. After mopping some water away, the rest dried off rather quickly. No damages, except to my nervers maybe >>;;;
