I get by with a little help from my Friends =)

Kenji - I'm not really sure how we met, but since he used to hang out a lot in the Art Forum and I enjoy going there from time to time to comment, it's most likely it started out from there. During one of my more downy periods we talked a lot over AIM and he cheered me up immensely (utilizing a webcam, lol). He's really good with his bass guitar, has a real sweet doggy and do really spiffy graphics =) Adam - Well, he's the Founder of this place so it makes sense that I follow his account :p (Adam (10/24/03) I like your site a lot Mimmi. Keep it up!) AJ - OB chats, hehe. He was one of the more early victims of my pants thefts. I've recently discovered that he's a very prolific poet on top of being cool :o Sarah - I actually lurked about her place for a while, thinking she was too cool for me to try and approach -^_^- She's still too awesome for me to approach but I don't let it bother me now ;P Be sure to check out her writing too! So much fun in the oddest of ways. *giggles like a school girl*) Annie - Another friend who I got to know better through OB chats and whom I missed while she was gone, doing a boot camp of sorts (I can't remember what it's properly called, sorry >>). Lady A - I met her in the very first OB chat I was invited to, read some of her work at OB (including SYF *fangirl cheer*) and now I'm finally getting the chance to interact with her more which is fantastic =D Azure - *laughs* Our ‘story’ is the one I remember most clearly, simply because of how hilarious it started out. It was during my big ‘snowball fight’ period last year and the first ever IM conversation we had was started off with me pelting him with a snowball XD We met in the OB chats after that and our friendship snowballed from there :p (AzureWolf (01/08/04) With a press of a button, your guestbook is signed. After falling out of TheSillyCirus2 competition he seems to have been swallowed by that mysterious thing called Life =( Boba Fett - Lurking victim, lol. Thought for a while he was in his early 20's when I first came upon his MyO (it was green back then, with the Boba Fett avi). I was very intimidated by his intelligence and took ages to break out of lurking mode. The OB chats actually helped out once again, lol. Charles - Read his posts at OB, met him a couple of times in OB chats and no list is complete without Charles ;-* (And his Guestbook signature is one of my favourites, lol) (Charles (01/25/04) :Fingerpaints signature in your guest book and runs:) Chie - Chie was one of those people who commented on sites I'd frequent too and I just loved to see her loving attitude and helpfulness. It took a while though before I actually headed over to her own place and befriended her. I was a bit dubious about him before I actually talked to him, haha. By forcing me to rewrite this you have extinguished my creative energies for the next twenty years. ~CrH~) Shanny - Shanny's comments would pop up on Hero's place, among many others I visited, and I lurked around her place for a while. Then came the time where I wanted to try out having a transparent background and, knowing that she had one, contacted her. She was as friendly to me (stranger as I sort of was) as she was to her closest friends, which is an indication to how nice she is =) It was actually Shanny who took the initiative (oooo) to becoming a MyO friend and I was only too happy to be hers *hugs* DDG - Found her through Azure's Friends list and noticed her comments here and there. Commence casual lurking! Then she was really sweet and signed my Guestbook during a difficult time, helping me to break the lurking mode and befriend her =D She's now in the final stages of TheSillyCircus2 competition, against Shin, despite being ill and I wish them both a life--- Whoops >> (DDG (05/07/04) I like your site, Mimmi. It's lovely(I really mean that, and I don't throw that word around too often...). I hope that your life gets better, it's horrible when it seems as if everything's going wrong or everything seems to be happening to you. In fact, he was the one who started the craze by constantly dropping his own when I chatted with him XD His stance on communicating via the written word also influenced me to be less sloppy with my IMing conversations =) HC - Just like Charles he piqued my interest with his posts on OB and the Random Thoughts on his MyO. The fact that he's always up for a game of Literati makes me like him even more ;D (Heavens Cloud (01/19/04) Your site is absurdly cool!) Hevn - I got to know the heavenly Hevn through Alan. I never did it to be friends with the most popular guy around (since that's actually below my maturity level *watches everyone burst into roaring laughter*) and knowing that others did it for that reason alone, I didn't give it much energy to try and befriend him because I didn't want to give off that impression (not to mention I get shy around people who are intelligent and I don't like to bother people). At the same time I didn't want to give up the opportunity to get to know a person like James and bravely IM'd him time and again. Gotta know when he has something to say =P Akamaru - Josh is one of my more recent buddies and it didn't take long from me “finding” him, to him befriending me. In my early MyO days I thought that anyone with a brain was close to the age of 20 so it really surprised me to find yet another person who was in their early teens (as opposed to their late teens, lol). Now if only I could convince her of her awesome/non-fatness >=\ Liebling - The Lit Forum (now Anthology) is where we first met. She made this awesome interpretation of “Losing my Religion”, had posted her rocking poetry and from that I just had to get to know her better. And this is the first time I'm saying this …. It's all being made up for now though and for that I am honestly giddy =D Angel - Angel's name came up in comments and posts so I was naturally interested in who she was. A brave guy, he is, and the best for him, I wish ;p Panda - The most wonderful Panda made an impression on me with her posts and contribution over at OB (before she got modded) though I initially thought she was a year or two younger than me (makes a change from constantly thinking people are older, ne? >>). The fact that he banned me briefly from OB for being cheap in Literati didn't help *dies laughing* Shy's an excellent writer (which is evident from the Kill Adam RPG and his Ice Cream World story in Anthology) and his MyO posts are always interesting to read =) Sugar Lips - “Enter the Net”. Reading that and checking out his MyO made me instantly like him. Though in the beginning of our communication I was very conscious of my spelling and grammar (since his was so good, he was English *goes on for a long time) >> Thankfully it didn't take long for his friendliness and warmth to make me forget all about being uptight about it ;) I am even more thankful that, even though we hadn't known each other for very long, he was comfortable about meeting up with me in London when I went over with my sister during the late summer. His presence in a chat, along with Shin, always guarantees entertainment. Over at OB he does a good job in keeping the Art Forum nice and tidy =) (Syk3 (09/27/04) I could have sworn that I signed your guestbook! Ah well. Hopefully I'll talk to you on AIM again sometime.) Terra - I'm not sure how I came upon terra, if I lurked or not and so on. She's a cool chic who's not around much now =( Zidargh - He was in the first OB chat I was invited to, giving me a warm welcome. And we all know it's impossible not to like Zidargh in all his wackiness ;p In all seriousness though, he's a brilliant RPer, a very nice young man and provides quality entertainment =D I love Everyone!
