Family reunion at ... IKEA O.o
Haha, yeah. The girls (minus myself) wanted to go to IKEA and browse about. Of course mom was too anxious to leave me home alone and too anxious to let my eldest sister drive (thereby allowing dad to stay home too), so what did we do?
Yep, we all squeezed into the car and went to IKEA. My older sister got home from England today, swinging by the big store for a meal and some hugs. It was weird to have everyone together [finally] and at IKEA of all places ^_^; Ah well. Maybe there'll be more of that from now on *shrugs and smiles*
I managed to only buy 4 small glass containers, mini versions of the big ones that you keep flour/rice/pasta/whathaveyou in. It was one of those moments where I looked at them and thought "... Yeah, want those" and promptly put them in the cart, lol. The others didn't really splurge either, though my younger sister bought this kick-ass (that's used a lot around various myO's there days :p) brontosaurus- esque figurine. Maybe you need to know my family to really get how awesome it is, so I'll just say that it was very her and got some good laughs out of everyone ^_^
My body would've appreciated staying at home and spending time together in a more relaxed manner (seriously, you don't really "spend time together" at IKEA *_*) especially since the weather was so dreadfully awful, making the whole day seem more like a very long evening/night, but I won't complain more than I have. In the end it was a fun trip =)
In case anyone's worried about Solo, I can tell you that he's safely back in England. I'm not sure how much he'll be around for a while, seeing as college/plays (and hopefully SLEEP *cough*) will zap quite a lot of time out of his schedule. Therefore I ask you all to go by his place and leave some hugs/kisses/gropes/whatever action you'd like to take, to make sure he knows we won't forget about him while he entertains the masses ^___^
Oh, the Sheep is back in the intro. As if you didn't notice already :p
