meh
So yes, a while back James started a thread at OB. More specifically, in Anthology. At first I just contributed a tiny bit of poetry but then a story began to grow in my mind. As of now there's ... two parts of it up, each in a slightly different style but still in keeping with the general feel. At least I hope so O.o

Recently, but still a while ago, James asked if I had more to post in there and it struck me that 'yes, my story needs to be finished or be closer to resolved than it is now'. And then I didn't think more about it.

Until last week. Whilst starting up a game of Literati with Alan, I decided to write a story with the words we put down. (Literati is basically online Scrabble, over at the Yahoo Games section.) The game never got finished, since I was taking forever to write down sentences around the words, but the actual story was eventually finished.

When the story began to take shape, I had a strong image of a fence in my mind and wanted to see if I could google it out from a dark corner of the web. "It would look really cool if I put it up on a little mini site of its own, with that kind of image", I thought. With a bit of help from Lady A, the perfect image was retrieved. Though, in the end, I decided not to use it. Instead I modified a screen cap from FF8 and used it as a background.

Initially the idea was to do everything myself, but having little HTML skill and Alan close by ... well, I asked him for some specific codes and then modified them. So, even though it might not look as awesome as if someone else had done it for me, I'm quite pleased with the end result.

HC was kind enough to offer a bit of space to put it up, to save people from viewing the horrible ads plastered at Angelfire. I've sent him the code along with the story, so whenever he has time to fix it together you'll know about it.

Thanks you three :-*

Other than that I'm still awaiting news in different departments. One concerning my future freedom, another relating to my love of Naruto. Those are just two of my currect contestants in the waiting game. I wouldn't mind being left hanging if it were because I was in a theme park and was trying out a fun ride, but when it comes to issues that need some sort of ... closure, it just gets me down. Guess I'm just one of those persons who like to know where they stand and where they're going. On a broad/grand (?) scale anyway. It doesn't have to be pin-pointed, as long as there's some ... Pshh, I don't know.

Lady A gave me a tremendous compliment as she asked me to contribute to something she's planning and even though I'm confident I could deliver [something], there's something that wants to push me back and make me say 'I can't'. Because that's what I've always done. Rarely has there been enough confidence in myself to go beyond of what I've done or where I've placed myself.

If you keep low to the ground then you won't hurt yourself if you fall, I guess. It's safer than flying towards the sun and having your wings burnt off, having a long way down to spiral.

I'm sure once I've had enough of wallowing in my puddle of self pity, my wings will be back from the repair shop and ready to go for a spin. *huggles Lady A*

Still want a pet. Any kind of pet. As long as it's cuddly and attentive. Well ... it doesn't have to be attentive. I could just talk at it and be satisfied with that. It would sure beat the incredibly silly feeling of wanting attention from people who give attention to people which in turn sparks me feeling inferior and insignificant.

.... Wow, reaching an all-time low here. What's next? Losing my sanity? O.o;;;;

Blue one 512 MB - Silver one 1 GB.
[Maker:
Sandisk .... whoever they are >>]

HC: It's snowing right now and if it sticks I might be able to get some wintery landscape shots for you =)

Kei: *grins* Yeah, I just couldn't help myself there >:) *huggles muchly* Cheapness wuffles yoo muchly in return :-*

Panda: *grabs her and cuddles* You'll do fine :3

Liam: Yes, oh yes. You'd make an excellent pet. I could chuck out my stereo, tv and computer then, seeing as you'd provide me with enough entertainment to make them redundant, lol.

John: Yep, cause then they'll bond to you easier. And the pictures are a visual explanation of my desire for one. The blue is a nice color but the silver one has more space, meaning if I end up buying one ... it'll probably be the latter.

Sarah: What do you say we pick up a couple of sailors, rent a boat and have them transport us around the world? =D

Sexyness: Awwww ;_; The offer is hard to refuse.

Rustym: Ah, so If I just move house ... Hmmm. For some reason it seems that strays are more affectionate because they depend on people's kindness to feed them. The cats you've already got expect to be fed without giving much in return. Maybe?

James: Glad to hear it *bows*

Hevn: And besides, if you fall you get ice-cream! =D Oooo, bear cat *huggles*
