`Single and Beautiful´
So, things are sort of in motion at homebase. Next Thursday I'll be going to [one of] the local grocery store[s] and begin what will be my 'work rehabilitation'. Before getting stuck in the evil 'Circle of Rut' I had a part time job there, so it's a familiar place and the people are cool. Not only will it be nice to have a bit of a job going but I can now finally say I do something when people ask, instead of feeling like Hugh Grant's character in "About a boy":

- So, what do you do?
- … Nothing.

Though I guess I could've just said that I'm rehabilitating from mental and physical trauma but that sounds so … extreme, lol. Anyway, to start off with it'll be strictly testing the water (to see if I'm ready to get back to the working world) and we'll see what happens after that period. I don't know if they'd actually hire me later on when I don't know when we'll be moving -.-

Speaking of moving, Literati Square is moving along and I know Annie wanted to chip in a word so she'll be up next! Lemme know what word, color and ... 'position' ... you want and I'll hook you up *sly wink*

Yesterday I was about to do a short blurb on people I miss seing around here, Ben being one of them. Lo and behold - the guy turns up out of the blue! But only briefly *pout* It's good to know he's alive and might return here more often, helping me to cut down on smileys when he posts *cough* >>

Someone else that's kind of absent is Molly, our beloved big sister. I wonder how things are going for her and I miss talking to her. Hopefully things are going alright and she'll bring Stan along with her when coming back on a more regular basis ^.^

Solo I know is alive and busy having a life, lol. Getting in touch with him isn't a problem but I don't want to latch on too much so it's a case of settling back and sending good thoughts to him, hehe.

Mmm, what else ... Oh. I got my cd's today and will now be able to send off my gift to Pyro (whom is sneakily up to something *peers*). Though it feels a bit measly to just send that so if there's anything else I should include, lemme know!

For those who are curious as to what I got for myself:

"Paper Monsters" Dave Gahan, "Shrek 2 OST", "Forever delayed" Manic Street Preachers.

Dave Gahan is part of Depeche Mode (who are apparently working/releasing a new album soon) so it should be interesting to hear what he's come up with on his own. Manics are a band my eldest sister listened to a lot while she lived close by and I like most of the singles I've heard. The soundtrack to Shrek is just smockful of fun songs. There you have it. Yes, I'm being very pampered at the moment >>

It's time for dinner so I leave you with a little bit of advice for those prone to angsting:

Don't watch "The talented Mr Ripley" late at night, alone.
