Have you ever, ever felt like this? When strange things happen, are we going around the Twist?
The subject line is a song from an Australian show, about a family who live in a lighthouse. I wonder if any of the Aussie kids remember that one, hehe. When I grew up there were shows from all over the world on telly we kids looked at. Canada, Germany, Australia (there was one show about a family that came from outer space and their little daughter was a leader on the run or something ... There were a set of parents, the daughter and a younger brother. Of course, since they were from outer space I don't remember if they were a family or just posed as one for the earthlings *shrugs*) and of course England made some really good educational shows. Muzzy!

Oh, and yesterday I decided that if I were to be a super hero(ine), my name would be Sensory Girl/Woman. Cause I'm so sensitive to sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing. Random. Yes.

It feels like I've got a cold or something, because my nap went from 11.30 - 14.30 (roughly 3 hours). I didn't actually sleep the whole time but I couldn't get myself to get out of bed, so I basically laid there in some sort of in between state of being awake and totally out of it, lol. The walk to the gym made me feel drained, heh. (I also feel very dizzy *_*)

But I've got myself a gym card (10 visits) and that's what matters. It's a small gym, nestled into a room right next to the indoors swimming pool. The equipment looks alright though, so hopefully I'll be able to get a more thorough work out there. Otherwise there's always another gym in town to go to.

My parents are amusing, even though they frustrate me. When watching programs about how parents shouldn't drag their kids into arguments, mom's always agreeing fervently. And that's laughable because she does the exact same thing! Just now, as I was preparing dinner, dad came home and joked about how he'd went to the video store to thank the owner for taking me aboard (the owner wasn't in though). I just rolled my eyes but Mom, who sat in the living room, shouted "Don't do that. She's 23 years old and need to show she can deal with things on her own and that would just undermine her" (or something to that effect. She actually said 24 first, hehe.).

Right there she contradicted herself! If dad's comment had annoyed me I would've been able to confront him about it myself, seeing as I'm 23 years old and mature enough to stand up for myself, right? And she (indirectly or directly, I'm not sure) used me as the base of an argument with dad. What he said/did had nothing to do with her but she sure used it to give him a jab.

Oh yeah, after I'd gone to the gym I went to the grocery store to try and find the lady who needs to know that I'm not gonna work there. Instead of circling the entire store I asked a young Man Flesh guy to see if she was around.

This particular guy used to go to school with my younger sister and even as a kid he was cute. He's not a kid anymore and his cuteness has grown into attractiveness. He has especially nice arms.... But as I told Ger/Red, it feels kind of weird to think of him as potential Man Flesh because I knew him as a young boy, so part of me still sees him as my younger sisters classmate, and that sort of makes me feel a bit pedophilifical. Which is kind of stupid since he's only 2½-3 years younger than me and fully legal to 'go after', lol.

Anyway, I'm treating him as eye candy instead of potential Man Flesh. And right now I can't be bothered giving all the reasons for that =P

Slick: Yes, you need to sleep more! Unless you're going for a career as a zombie? O.o

Pyro: =D Thank you! Indeed it is brown *points to box that says 'brown' on it*

Shabam: Color is so much fun and right now my hair has loads of highlights because of the different colors that it had before being dyed =D (Parts were natural blond outgrowth, some of it was reddish and other parts were brown/black.)

Hotness: Hehe, I thought you'd see the fun in that one ;) And yeah, the video store should have me meeting fun folk but I don't think the gym will have much to offer, lol. Thanks for the Uma compliment!

Rustym: Thanks, man 8-)

Annsie: *pounces and gives goodies* Oh man, getting locked out of the car is one step worse *hugs* Good thing you were able to get into it again >>

Slick: *giggles and hugs*

Lunai: Yay for working girls =D And there's no need to keep up with this place, I know you've got plenty of things on your agenda already *hugs*
