Yes Ajeh, "Captain Jack Sparrow is slicker than cheese" ~_^
There was a small heading in the newspaper today and it just brought a grin to my face. Reading about these scientific studies and learning about their results (sometimes on the most bizarre of things) is always interesting ^_^
"According to a British study; to behold the one you love, or your child, activates a part of the brain and shuts down another.
The British scientists were not surprised at which part of the brain that was activated. However, they were not prepared for the fact that the part of the brain where the critical thinking operates would be the one shut off.
This goes to show that the old saying is true: "Love is blind". "
Oh and about the whole movie thing - on Wednesday 19.30 I will see "The last Samurai" ~_^
Speaking of time slots and the like...
A Timetable is the most frustrating thing since .... opening anything that's been covered in hard plastic !
You would not believe the numerous times I've read a bus/train timetable wrong and ended up stranded somewhere, feeling very moronic.
Not only are they (the Swedish timetables) laid out in a fashion that makes your head spin just looking at them (there's good design and then there are timetables) – no, they have also added little numbers and letters, suggesting that on certain days/certain times the bus/train will not go here, pass by there, or show up at all !! *groans*
So you can imagine the soreness of getting the time wrong for the movie, although I maintain that the paper had messed up with their print >_>;
Seriously, I looked it over plenty of times to be sure I got it right...
And while we're on the subject of movies...
*walks up to Azure, shoves him down onto a sofa, leans over and looks at him sternly*
Sometimes that sort of behaviour is fun, at other times you'd be endangering yourself to be "shut up" quite brutally ~_^
And how can you not enjoy earthquake level ?! That's what made the last Star Wars movies rock more than perhaps they did ! (don't get me wrong, I own the two latest/first movies and enjoy them – but they simply cannot measure up to the original trilogy >_>; )
To have an entire salon vibrate as a spaceship flies over, to have to cover your ears in fear they'll break due to the brutal bass sound, is pure awesomeness !
[ But yeah, snuggling up in the sofa at home is quite nice also =P ]
I'm strongly considering tidying up my room today. I always feel more relaxed when the floor isn't covered in dust, clean clothes are piling up on a chair next to my wardrobe, the desk is cluttered up to the point where I can't focus on the computer screen ... And so on ^_^;
*listens to Paraniod Android*..... I think I need to listen to this one a couple of times. There's such a wide range of stuff in one song, to be taken in on a first listen.
For me anyhow ^_^;
Take Care Everyone !
Remember that People and Objects are only as much fun as you make of them ^_^
