Take me off the market
2 October

Pyro - ...Well, I told a lie. It did ORIGINALLY look a lot like Frank, but I had to change it because the placement of the symbols was all messy when the post was "published".

Murrr, I still hate my name. When I was a kid, I desperately wanted to be called Sarah or Isabella. It was rather funny.

Gagh, organisation angst. This is why I'm always in two minds about planning things that involve a group of people turning up. At least you made a reconciliatory gesture ^_^ Go Mimmi!

It's great to know that you have such supportive people around you, and it's even better to know that you're thinking of taking hold of more opportunities. I guess the only thing I can say is to try and keep everything moving steadily, and remember to leave time for yourself to unwind. You're a very capable person.

Actually, computers ARE said to have both "male" and "female" ports/features and such. When I picked up a booklet at this digital arts-related place I went to last year, there was some talk in it of gendering computers.

*hacks off a nearby bloke's leg and throws it in your direction* Sorry - couldn't resist.

… I just realized that our county’s flower is Heather! .... Ok, enough about how I like your name, lol. It’d be cool to learn more about that male/female aspect of computers, though :o

You know, for being in what is a very chaotic time in my life, I’m doing pretty ok Whereas before, when things were stable, I’d get rocked very easily. Does life ever make sense? Lol

*nibbles on the Man Flesh* Mmmmm, thanks =D

Rustym - Good luck with your job situation.

Thank you ^_^ It’ll work out, somehow, some way. C’est la vie, and all that jazz 8-)

Pyro - Steve Coogan? Entertaining comparison. Solo reminds my dad of Jesus. *laughs*

Haha, I can see why the Jesus comparison comes up (with the beard and semi-long hair). The Steve Coogan thought came from buying a movie in which he starred and spotting similarities with Solo. Some of it were facial expressions/ physical gestures (ie his performance), but mostly I just saw things in him that reminded me of Solo. Coogan has this sweet charisma that’s spiked with subtle cheekyness *pauses* and this could be dragged on forever, heh.

Another guy that reminds me of Solo is the one in “Relic Hunters”. Nigel, is it?

Solo - Steve Coogan? o_O;

Jesus?

They're two comparisons I'd never have expected, haha. Mind you, I guess I'd be flattering myself if I thought Hugh Jackman or Matthew Broderick (which I often do)[/self-glorification]. I'm a holy comedian!

*squishyhugs Mimmi* ^_^

You've all the right to keep flattering yourself *smiles* The only thing I’d strip off of you is your clothes, nothing else *angelically mischievous wink* Sorry, I'm out of line. Again. You do bare a resemblance with Hugh Jackman *nods*

Annie - Walrus! :3F

>:3F@ Oh how I miss thee, Walrus and Mistress of Walrusses!

Liam - Manic Street Preacher: Australia?

Hmm, I must investigate.

To the maths mobile! -Wait...something went wrong here..

Ooops, forgot an S after Preacher. Manic Street Preachers. But yes, “Australia” is wonderfully uplifting. Much like you ^_^

John - Eeeeww, oysters. :X

Don’t think of the mollusc oyster. Think of the oysters in “Alice in Wonderland” =D

Sarah - Hi Mimmi ::kisskisskiss::

You sex goddess! Finally I can access your journal and feel part of your life :3

6 October

Annie - Yay! *snuggles while shaking a fist at the internet* Oh, I have a picture of Pikachu[s] that I am going to send you via PM on the OB. You're going to go crazy when you see it. It's so adorable! Made me think of you and Jeh ^~^

*shamed shuffle of feet* I forgot my password at OB and couldn’t get it sent to my mail so I’ve yet to see the Pikachu[s]!!!!!!!!! That’s the first thing I’ll do after posting this =D

Pyro - *attempts to induce Mimmi's net to work by offering it biscuits*

Looks like my net was incredibly picky or very indulgant. Either way, it’s working now!

HC - 99% of my internet time is supposed work time ;)

Ooooo, way to work it. So to speak :p

Shin - If I were working, and I had a computer at work, I'd so use it to evade work.

...

Not that I don't do that now, but you know.

>_>

*giggles* Keep on swimming, you’ll reach a study-free shore one of these days *hugs*

John - Ill-gotten internet is the only internet.

That has been made very apparent to me now -.-;;;;

Pyro - Youch - dramatic it dost sound. Hopefully once you get to the other side things will improve.

Don't worry about me ^_^

Ok, I won’t worry but I’ll care twice as much! *hugs*

Badness - I HEART THE MIMMI.

I HEART THE BADNESS!

10 October

Shin - Yes, you spelled 'shoe' correctly. :)

I always forget how to spell 'rhythm'... that is a really confusing word to me for some reason.

There are a couple of words that are really simple that always gets to me. Can’t remember them now, though, of course. Rhythm qualifies as a sneaky word, absolutely *nods sagely*

Annie - Yeah, I can't ever spell 'rhythm' right. (only spelt it right because Shin did...hopefully)

Well, we all wait anxiously for your return ^_^ That way, we can play Literati.

=D I love playing dirty with you ..... In a very innocent way 0:-)

John - Oof, I know right where you are on your internet situation. All I have at home is crappy wireless that I have to sit outside just to get access to, and at school I can visit myOs, but not comments, lol.

That’s just wrong *shakes head* We want it to work the way we want it to, whenever we want to and however --- that speech could go on for a long time and would only be a repeat of a single idea, so I’ll stop now and make a face =|

Liam - Excellent, the dream-machine working perfectly, gloyven!

^_~

Can you send some more my way, by any chance? *begs nicely*

Rustym - Yep, "shoe" is correct.
I remember a friend once asked me how to spell "the".

Wow O.o Guess I don’t got it so bad, then XD

Panda - ::glomps::

I too fear writing without a dictionary since some words just don't look right even when spelled correctly.

Love you much Mimmi!

Panda!!! Seems like I’ve seen Pandas everywhere lately, that’s how much you’ve been missed :-* Your writing doesn’t tell on you for the dictionary-clinging, that’s for sure. It only tells that you’re an excellent writer ^__^

Evil - I hate when I second guess myself on how words are spelt >_> Drives me mental.

Aww *huggles* We miss you. Hope your internet works again soon ^__^ We'll hold down the fort till things are in tip top shape again.

And it’s usually the every-day words, too! Rawr. *looks around* The fort looks mighty clean and sparkly, thanks very much ^__^ *hugs*

Solo’s Interview Questions and My Answers:

1. If someone were to come to your door asking for help, what would your initial response be?

“Please, let me be able to help .... or get them in touch with someone who will be able to.”

2. Hypothetically, if all of your posessions could be put into one shop, which would be the first one you'd buy and why?

Wow, difficult one .... It’d have to be the box with photos. Losing my writings and whatever wouldn’t be too bad in the long run but those photos are something I wouldn’t want to part with for anything in the world.

3. What does your ideal landscape look like?

It’s funny .... these days I’m really sensitive to looking at landscape images. They all make me feel lonely or in some kind of pain. It used to be that they calmed me. Most landscapes are somewhat bereft of happiness, in my eyes, for some reason. Coming across one that makes me smile is rare. But we’re not talking about landscapes on posters, so enough about that =X

Open landscapes are nice. But it needs something to break off that feeling of endless vastness, like a forrest, a mountain range. One particular landscape that comes to mind is that of sitting on the porch of a big wodden lodge, looking out and seeing a big stretch of grassy land that’s embraced by woodland on it’s sides, with a big lake greeting it. And in the distance you would be able to see the sunlight bounce off a mountain[range] where the snow hasn’t completely melted off the peaks.....

4. You have an idea for an invention. What would you like it to do?

Uhm ..... Something that, at any given moment, gives me a superbly massage that imitates the feeling you get from human hands_^_ Being a physical person that’d be very handy, since people get tired after a little while or don’t even have time to give you a rub.

5. What do you want other people to see in your personality?

This is going to sound so wrong, lol. But I want people to see my faults and remind me of them so I’m aware. Not that I don’t love it when people focus on my positive aspects (such as kindness or generousity), it’s just that oftentimes I’ll feel like people don’t want want to see anything wrong with me, that they’re satisfied with pegging me as the “good girl” and leaving little to no space for other parts of who I am. Which makes me feel horrible if I am struck with a sudden burst of rebellion or bitchyness. Like I’m not supposed to (or even be allowed to) act that way, just because I’m a pushovernice most of the time. Ideally I’d like people to see that my personality is a range of different characteristics =)

“I’m the sum of my parts”
