Please don't freak out ^_^;;;...
Today I partook in a psychological assessment/evaluation, of myself *pose*
Hehe, I know this sounds weird but only if you don't take into consideration the things that have lead up to today.
As some might remember, I had an unpleasant and abrupt end to my career as a paper-girl, 3 years ago and then of course I spent last year in a sickly state. And now that I'm feeling a lot better than I probably ever have, I get to take tests that will somehow end up as a psychological profile of me.
The timing of certain people is.... questionable.
I was really nervous about the whole thing, since I'm tired of constantly going back to all the sad stuff that went on these past 2-3 years, so the idea of sitting in front of a stranger and tell them what happened and how it affected me... was not appealing. A wound heals better if you clean it and leave it be, you know ?
But it was just a bunch of tests, a few practical things and some generic "question - answer" stuff. I sat in a small room with the psychologist, who was male (I can never tell how old people are, but I'm guessing he was close to the 40 mark). He was calm, friendly and took it slow, to make sure I was ok with the situation. And he made good eye-contact, which is key for me when it comes to initiate any kind of trust for a person.
We got about halfway today and in two weeks I'll do the rest, it'll be evaluated and then I'll be called back to go through the results.
Kind of like an online quiz, taken with a dial-up connection *lol*
I've got SomeGuys request to do, but the others are done. Now I just need a place to host them on *hint*
