Edits make you go Phew
Pyro: oooooo, you temptress.
There's something called Commerce and Administration here, which basically sets you up for working in either Commerece or Admi... *smacks head* and that sort of says itself ^_^; After looking into what kind of "careers" you can get out of that, it appears it'd be a good fit to what I've done/can do right now.
Evil: .. .. .. .. .. I think I just burned a hole in my floor from excessive drooling XD
-^_^- Thanks for the encouragement!
John: *giggles* Who knows :p
Solo: I'm glad to say it :)
Shinny-Boo: Care to volunteer as a hot roommate? XP
Life is strange. Somehow my mind managed to get itself into this state of blank beginnings, shortly after the New Year began. Not quite apathy but a calm that won't be disturbed. Sounds lofty, huh? In short: last year is behind me. It didn't destroy me. I feel undaunted by this year, since even a repeat of happenings will still be something I've faced before. Like when you've taken that first punch. You're stunned by it, yet ready for the next one. After a while, you're dulled to the pain. (Which reminds me I've gotta see "Million Dollar Baby" again.)
The last two days have been AIM Extravaganza, with many surprising and nice conversations. Not to mention Literati madness. There's barely nothing that beats a good game of Literati. |
Thank you John for pointing out Ripway for me and saving people from blindness =D
"The Grocery Experiment"
&
"The Excel Chart"
Whoops. Totally forgot to include more than just a word document.
So. First there was a list made with items you might buy each month/every other month/once or twice every year. Prices for large and small packs were noted. Once the data was collected, I sorted through what, and how much of, I'd buy personally. That's the list you were linked to download.
When that was finished came the task of trying to calculate what you I'd spend a month/etc. There were remarkable differences between the 1st Month and the 2nd Month, since you obviously need to add on the cost of things you buy monthly. Every third of fourth month will either stay close to the amount of Month 1 or exceed Month 2, depending on how fast or slow items run out.
Now it has to be said that my ability to calculate things approximately isn't very grand. Usually I add more, just to be on the safe side, so some items might last longer. Though on the same token, other items might need a refill much quicker than anticipated. Obvious things such as visitors can have a big impact on how much you spend. Being sick and not being able to eat is another.
But! This was all guesswork anyway, with a main focus on getting some rough figures for what it could cost (me) on groceries/stuff for the household.
Becksicle: *blushes* But you can write like a mighty lion!
And yes, we need to see each other on AIM. Soon! *snuffles*
Arcadia: That's what scares me about becoming a student. Lack of money ;_; *gives you emotional wealth*
John: Funny thing is, I hate math ¬¬ But playing around in Excel is fun =D
Thanks for the links and Literati games!
Sennen: *misses playing with you* Woman, eager. Or something O.o
Annie-Love: Eeeeee, so glad we got things sorted out! There's nothing like a dose of Annie to make the world better >:3F@ |
