   Brief summary (I have a cold now, lol)
Kitty Kei: Long live the nap! And long live Kei!

Slick: Awwwww _^_ Pictures will be up, right after I take them >>

Mom and dad made a trip up to the new apartment on the Tuesday last week, to unload some books and bookcases. On the Friday we all went up with another load of stuff, before doing the last bit of packing in the old apartment. If we hadn't made thow two extra trips, we would've been forced to make several more [back and forth], that's how much we had stuffed into that tiny living space. And there's still two storage rooms to empty out, which we've left to a later date *_*

(My muscles got their first work-out in almost a month and it wasn't a smooth start-up, either. So I was quite sore on the day of the big move, Saturday morning.)

Dad went up to fetch a 'van' that would aid us in the move, along with the Eleine and Juliette. Angela and her new boyfriend Martin came shortly after they arrived, as did some guy dad had invited over to help us, lol. He only stuck around for loading on, leaving once that was done to go swim with his kids.

Despite the enormous amount of packing wre done, there was still stuff to put away once we got the big furniture and boxes out of the apartment. It's kinda funny how everyone sort of lulled about the last hour, when there were only small stuff to carry down XD Oh, and the van wasn't big enough to fit everything (which everyone silently noted after seeing it), so dad had to rent a smaller trailer as well. They both got absolutely packed (XD), no dead space at all.

We started off around 10 in the morning, were on the road to the new town 2-ish in the afternoon, arrived 4-ish and went to bed shortly before midnight. Long day.

In my new home town, Eleine and Juliette had roped in some friends who were like manna from heaven! Two guys around my age (younger) really pulled out all stops to carry heavy furniture up 3 flights of stairs (!!) - one of the guys was named Tobias *winks at Becky* -, as did Martin, dad and a guy his age. Several people dropped in at various stages so there might've been others that helped out as well, heh.

After the trailer + van were empty, everyone was treated to both dinner (that one of the guests had cooked for us <3), and dessert. It's been a while since I sat at a table with so many people in a kitchen and it was very nice ^_^ Juliette boasted about my Literati skillz, so hopefully I can lure those two guys to join the club >____> The more the merrier!

By the time chimed 8 in the evening, everyone had headed out, leaving me and the parental unit to tackle whatever we had strength to tackle, haha. A lot has been done already, but there are bits and pieces that need to be seen to.

What surprised me the most was how smoothly everything went, compared to the last move when it was done in stages and we only moved within the town. Credit for that goes out to all the boys, who did a fantastic job with doing the heavy lifting. My sisters really did great, too, overcoming colds to be part of the 'even't :3

The apartment is really .... cozy. Mom's room is wonderful, I really like mine, dad has his own room again and there's an open fire in the living room that is functional. While the bathroom is about 3 times smaller (boo), the kitchen is a thousand times better than the kitchen in the old apartment (YAY).

And here's the clincher: I've not had a single anxiety/panic attack during this whole thing. In fact, I feel very good ^_^

Becky: ^___^ It's gonna be so much fun showing you guys how the apartment is laid out, mwuahahaha.

John: What neighbours? O.o

Packing and unpacking is ok, though the latter suck a bit, but I could do without the lifting up and down 3 flights of stairs *2 ;_;

Charlie: Again, neighbours? O.o'

There were some midgets running around in the apartment below ours during the weekend, though -.-
