In the eternal words of Shinmaru: ~

Shimmy-Loo: There's a couple of movies I've seen lately that I could talk about, which in turn would give you something to comment on and it'd be a win-win situation :o

Becksicle: Need an aspirin?/Hope you had a blast on your birthday, daaaahling~

Sarah: I foresee a future for me as a 'bag lady'.

John: Beware the moon!~

Azure: What were you waiting for? For me to grow intellect? I thought you'd already established my low standard.

In any case, here's something to chew on:

I've made the 50 minute walk to my sisters every other day. It's very refreshing. So far I've taken the bus back out of laziness but once the weather turns around I'll probably do the full round.

All of the sisters were here today, along with Angela's boyfriend Martin. There was food, dessert and Bubble Bobble. Unfortunately for Eleine there was also some bad news on her jop/study plans. We're gonna try to help out in any way we can and hope it can be worked out some other way. She could do with the break.

Speaking of Eleine. She told me she'd found this old resolution we'd penned, many years ago, and suggested we make a new one. Both of us have indulged a bit too much in candy and need some kind of anchor (Copyright Adam). Inspired by nostalgia I made a rough draft, though by the time Eleine looked at it she had just received the bad news, so we'll talk about it more tomorrow when we've planned to bake. If she's up for it.

For many years I've searched far and wide for "The City of Lost Children" (La cite´ des enfants perdus), which I obviously can't spell in French. In the mail yesterday there was a magazine from the Science Fiction bookstore, in which they advertised it for sale! Maybe that wasn't a good sentence. I'm pretty sure I had a dream where people confessed that my English wasn't as good as they'd told me it was and that it actually kinda sucked. ANYWAY. That movie is so awesome and it'll be nice to finally be able to see it repeatedly.

Another movie I need to get is ... uhm, the English title eludes me. But Kevin Bacon is in it and there are monsters beneath the surface that senses vibrations above ground and attacks/eats people. It's considered a B-movie, from what I can tell, but it's an A-movie to me. Fun movie.

Still waiting for news on the job application, which will come in a week or two. I applied two days after the job was advertised and it had a month run before they make a decision, so yeah. It'd be a good idea to look at alternative options. Ah well.

I'm working on getting stuff mailed but it's hard to find something for Tori. As the famous line goes: "What do you get for a woman who [seemingly] has everything?".

It's been years since I've owned, and even less worn, a bathing suit. But maybe that'll change. I've ordered a piece in any case, then we'll see if I get around to wearing it. Seeing as I don't believe myself being capable of pulling off a bikini, I've gone for mini shorts and a top. Hard to describe but there you go. It looked comfortable and since I'm not out to paw on guys for attention (which'd be fruitless *bites tongue*) it'll be perfect.

I bought two pairs of sneakers. They were the same price as one pair of brandname sneakers would be, so now I have both outdoors and indoors ones. Usually my sneakers start off as indoors only but then I get lazy and start wearing them for outdoor. But that won't be a problem now. Hurrah~

Psych me?; it's always interesting to see yourself through others eyes.
