Shabam: *snuggles along in front of a documentary about Greenland* Heat is alright in small doses but it hasn't been this hot in years so it caught me off guard ¬¬

MC: It's the heat! That's why we miss our shows or forget to record them! Yes. Evil is the heat >__>
Evil Muffin: I don't mind the sun at all, especially since I've got a serious lack of ... vitamin B? Anyway. The heat is mostly horible in the evening when you can't relax because the air is all stuffy -.-

Yeah, the 3-day course on Enviroment is over and not a second too early! Gaaaawwwwwrrrrbbbllleeee. That was more horrible than a lot of horrible things.
I took more notes on the two different teachers, and their quirks/what I thought of them, than I did about the subject at hand XD;;;
Sure we learned interesting stuff. It's just that it was in bad conditions with not so stellar educators. The only relief came in the appearance of a guy who questioned them/played the age old game of Devil's advocate and got under the more annoying teachers' skin. At first I didn't like him too much, though he proved that first glance can be slightly inaccurate *shrugs*
The two teachers both insisted we have debates/discussions but nearly backflicked when we didn't meet their expectations of what the correct answers/ideas [in their mind] should be. Double Eh. We stood our ground, though :D

Cleaning duty at the hotel isn't as much fun as Breakfast duty but it does serve to broaden my horizon when it comes to the Hotel industry, which is never wrong. Another 3 weeks of that and then it'll be 4 weeks of Reception duty, if I've understood things correctly.
As interesting/fun it is to learn, I'd rather have a secured job. Be it there or somewhere else. It's work that I'm doing and not a hobby so obviously I want it to lead somewhere. Not just be a means to make time go by.

Being miffed about the Anime Expo thing falling through is starting to get old so I'm trying to shrug that off. I've gotten it down to a pout and a frown now, yarr. Man.
Much bitterness has been slowly worked away, leaving me slightly surprised at the amount there from to start with. No wonder I couldn't be happy.
I'm gonna try to work out some weekend plans with the younger sister and possibly other people around here. That social bug is a mighty clingy thing, just like me!
