Shake ya ass
"About a boy" is a sweet movie *grins* Funny how much Hugh Grant has grown on me lately. I used to not be fond of him at all, haha.
Annie is up in LSquare! \|/007453! ....
I need some work on my leet speech >.>
My sisters and I have officially broken in our tennis raquets! A lot of the time was spent doubled over with laughter but for a while there we got the ball to go back and forth :o
I (apparently) strike too hard, according to the others, but to be fair the wind was blowing my way. Although I do tend to hit things with zest >_>
It was majorly fun and they both wanted to play more! Another day, of course XD Though we'll need to get more professional balls because the ones I bought didn't have enough bounce in them. It made playing a bit more difficult for us beginners, hehe.
After we were done (and had played an awesome board game) I meant to take the bus back into town, where mom's bike was parked (dad took mine earlier in the day), but accepted Eleine's offer to drive me. Once they'd dropped me off and were about to turn a corner ..... it dawned on me that I'd emptied my pockets in their apartment. Meaning I had no means of communication or transportation.
Hence my slightly sore legs walked me home where a spare key could be fished out, promptly walked back to the bike and rode home with it. Add an earlier ride in heavy winds, plus the tennis playing, I was more than well exercised ^_^;;;
Forgetting the keys and cell phone annoyed me but in the end everything worked out, so smiley faces all around :)
My muscles didn't really start to feel sore until yesterday (we played Saturday evening), feeling slightly more dull today, which is weird. Didn't stop me from going to the gym to work out, though :D
The winds have picked up tremendously these past couple of days, which made for a gruelling bike ride to the gym. Good thing there were machines to take out my frustration on, mwuahahaha. Thanks to the trainer who went through the ones I needed to use I'm actually getting a proper work out. Last time at a gym (several years ago) it was quite the opposite, leading me to quit shortly after beginning.
I feel so much lighter afterwards and pleasently worn out. Or rather: relaxed, calm, at peace, satisfied. Good feelings _^_
Kinda like how my two weeks worth of holiday make me feel XD!!!
Slick *2: "Just one night, give me just one night", haha. Hrm >_>;;;
Don't worry, lad. You'll soon be ready for the world. The question is, is the world ready for you?! :O
Ah, thanks for clearing up the controller issue for me. It sounded weird to use that word but apparently it's correct! *giggles* The Brits are good for and at many-a-things, just like the Canadians ~_^
John: I bet I suck more! Though it doesn't matter if you're good or not, the main point is how much fun you're having :3
Evil: XD You're aces at soccer, mah lady, that's plenty enough. And you're one fine cosplayer, writer, human being! It's an honor to be in such fine company as yours :3
MC: *laughs* It comes by many names, that "controller".... and for some reasons it sounded so Japanese when I said it quietly in my mind XD;;;;
Badminton makes you feel like some kind of bird with a very curved neck, since you're forced to look up most of the time *_* Tennis has an advantage there, for sure.
Gwar at these colds that are flying around! *shakes angry fist* We need to go somewhere warm where boys will meet our every demand and whim. I'm sure that'd make us feel better :p
Shimmy-Loo: Awwww it's alright, we all know you're teh 1337 in the field of gaming. And tennis.
We so need to meet one day and play tennis, Scrabble and go bowling! :D
Sarah: You'd make an excellent judge/referee, methinks ~_^ Love you too and I hope the colour is ok for you :-*
Becky: Man, I tell you, I've been drinking fluids like a camel with diabetes O.o Maybe that helped with getting better?
Still gotta get a few games to the Gamecube, starting with Mario Kart Dubble Dash. Dunno what else to go for, aside from the Mario franchise. Any suggestions? :3
