A little bit closer to home

[This is a further attempt to 'get myself sorted' and arriving at a place where I can talk about last week more openly. Bare with me.]

Eh, I took the post down because it felt seriously disoriented. Maybe I can salvage something from it and put up here again. Let me see what I can do.


"Anyway, I am slowly trying to get over last week. My habit of recoiling from people worked a little too well. Missing everyone only added to the miserability, heh.
In retrospect (which I expect to start any day now) I will kick myself for having gotten so down about it. But when you're in the middle of an emotional storm ... it's hard to think ahead to the point where the dust settles.

*inhales and exhales deeply*

Maybe I complicate things too much, but there are certain issues that will really make me react violently. And I don't mean that as in physically lashing out, but more along the lines of messing me up inside. Most of the time it can be related back to an event (or more) from the past, that traumatized me. I'd rather not go through those kind of moments again, even though I have experience and technically should be able to handle history repeating itself."


There, that's what mattered. I think we're getting somewhere. Eventually, haha. Thanks everyone for your patience *huggles*
