"Shine for me"

"Have you ever looked into the eyes of a complete stranger and felt overwhelmed by a desire to smile at them ? I'm not talking about a polite smile because you happened to stare at each other at the exact same time and feel embarrassed about it ... no ... I mean a smile that feels like absolute – pure – happiness, spreading throughout your entire being. Just by looking into the eyes of a complete stranger.

And you take every opportunity to steal a glance, try to accidentally meet their gaze again, while biting your lip to prevent yourself from surrendering to a bubbly giggle.

As they shuffle about, you wonder if it's an invitation for your eyes to wander over to them again. Maybe they're asking you to gather the courage to say 'hello' as their eyes meet yours and shows no sign of wanting to look away. It could be that they're suppressing that same smile ..."


... Or not.
