Excuse the sloppyness in this post; the evilness is hard to shake XP

So here's the first sneak peak of the house we're building, in which you see the tip of it (and there's actually a brick house nestled between the white house and ours) -->

Yes, you may call me a tease now XP Now let's tell the story on how the sneaky fortress started out.....

Mom, dad and myself all sat down to design the layout of the house. Initially we looked at 'instant houses' that could be built pretty quickly but none seemed to fit our needs. So when our rough sketch was finished it got handed over to an architecht who helped finalize everything.

It should be mentioned that even today the plans are on a sketch-level. Thankfully our builders are skilled enough to not need more than the basic plan they've been given ^^;

Because dad kinda stalled the whole process it wasn't until December that we really got started. First there was plenty of digging and plumbing. Then came all that grey concrete. When that had dried they put up some timber planks on top, along the edges, for when framing would begin.

During these stages it sometimes felt like nothing happened. Still, riding on the bus to our street made me feel wonderful. It truly was like going home _^_

Because of the slow (in my mind) progress I didn't stop by for a week or so and when dad told us they'd put up the rough framing .... well, both mom and I jumped into the car so dad could drive us over XD

Boy, let me tell you. That was a magical moment. To see more precise the dimensions of what is to be our home, all that timber reaching for the sky, knowing that this is where I'll get to grow some roots... Just awesome.

After that evening the pace gained some speed. Every other day something new (but more accurately, VISIBLE) had been done. The bus card mom and dad gave me has really come in handy, lol. My camera has also saved recording the process, since dad's camera is having issues with the memory card O.o;

While I'm not a fantastic photographer, it's great to capture this build. The last time my parents built a house I was barely out of the womb (roughly 1 year old) and now I get to experience the same thing as them. Fascinating :)

You probably didn't think I'd show more pictures, huh? Buahahahahahahaha!
Here they come :D PS: Love me for putting up with ImageShack being a Slowpoke -.-

At first it only looked like the following picture, because the cement had to dry and stuff -->

Then all of a sudden, after not seeing it for a few days, there was timber everywhere! This is taken from the back of the house -->

We're also having a smaller storage shack built, right off the carport -->

I could stare at that roof for an eternity. Too bad it's
gonna get blocked by the inner ceiling -->

I actually went up on the second floor, which was torture on my vertigo! The wind was blowing so hard and the ladder felt very rickety ;_; But it was sooooo worth it -->

Looking down through a hole on the second floor *whimper* -->

MY FUTURE ROOOOOOOOOM! .... Can you tell I'm excited? :P A bit on the left will be a bathroom and behind it a mini walk-in-closet, then the rest on the right is all mine =D (I'll try to snatch the drawings so you'll get a more proper understanding on what it'll be like, heh) -->

This is the most recent photo I've snapped, showing pretty much all of the lot/land and what we have on it -->
