Here I am! I'm in Finland now and everything is good. My flight went well..except for the girl that was practically laying on top of me! *grr* *lol* But other than that it went fine. I'm over my jetlag now (I think) and the 3 kids I'm living with are a bit wild. Though they will settle down over time. It's hard to imagine that I'm living here now. My mom came with me and yesterday I realized that she's leaving. Yes, I knew she was leaving before, but it just never dawned onto me that I will be alone. There are people here that I can talk to, and lots of things to do, so I'm not necessarily alone...but it still feels that way. Well, That's it for me. Today's the day! Alas, the day has come for me to venture to Finland for a year. I will (of course) be here on myO and the OB, and on Deviant art as dark-raven06, Fanfiction.net as darkraven06, and on livejournal.com as Minako06. So catch me on one of those sites, alrighty? OR I've put up my email for your emailing pleasure. If I get ANYTHING stupid:aka forwards, stupid emails, etc. I will remove it from myO. (See my introduction for more details) So, this ends it for today. I will be arriving Finland tomorrow, but I don't know if I'll feel like posting or not. Don't expect anything, ok? Hi! Tis I, Minako again, with a post. I have been packing over these past few days for my trip to Finland TOMORROW! *bites nails* At least I have the same flight as my mother and I have Trigun #1 to read on the flight! heh heh. Nothing else much new. I went out to get some last-minute supplies...Advil (I love Advil..Advil is my friend), a new "journal", some toiletries...so on and so forth. So, I end this post with a Comment Box Questionnaire *ominous music plays*: What was the last movie you saw that made you cry? Mine was Good Will Hunting. Ok, as promised, here's another post. Liam: Yes, I am moving to Finland, but only for a year. Anywho, my flight leaves from Chicago at 4:20 pm but I have to be there at least 2 ½ hours before. (Luckily it's the same flight as my mother.) It's hard to believe that it's so soon. Meh. I'll be ok. I'll still have myO there and the OB. (You can catch me on Deviantart.com and fanfiction.net) In preparation for my trip, I went out and bought some jeans and a pair of sneakers, AND (I'm very exicted) I bought Trigun #1! Is it just me or is mine a lot bigger than my other manga? I'm saving it for the flight over. (I fly from Chicago to Stockholm...about 8 hours.) I want to read it now, but I'll savor it so much more on the flight over. *giggles like a school-girl* I can't wait! I hope everyone is having a good day! Mine's been pretty good, not the best, but good. That wraps it up for me today...Catch ya later! I'll probably post tomorrow and on Thursday before I leave. Hello! How are you today? I'm just out of it. I feel like "I'm hanging by a thread over the canyon of doom." (I got that from a story on fanfiction.net called, "Bring me to life") It's just this impending trip to Finland hanging over my head. Meh. I have to start packing, doing laundry past my ears, see what all I want to take with me. It's not that I don't want to go, but it's a little overwhelming. I still don't know when I leave. My dad called the airline today to see if I can get a flight on Thursday, the 8th, on the same flight as my mom, but you can't schedule flights for Thursday today. We'll try again tomorrow. Just a random little thing, I feel like writing out my list of FAVORITE friends for you all! (If you're not on it, I'm sorry!) *liam mc--He's a great guy and such a sweetie. AND he's an awesome artist *Sara--She brightens my day with her witty little posts and whenever I see her. She is also a superb artist and I will miss her sincerely! *SamSandy--(aka Sage) He is a super-awesome guy who is Finnish, like me! I hope to meet him when I go to Finland. He's also a great artist and is such a sweetie! *Comrade--Although Comrade no longer posts here on myO, she is still an awesome person and a great friend! (She's a wicked awesome artist too! and she gave me a hug! ^_~) Umm..that's it...I feel kinda un-loved now...*sniffle* I'm sure I'll make more friends soon! *glee* The COMMENTBOX-QUESTIONNAIRE *ominous music plays* is still in effect from yesterday. Hello! Tis I again with a post. I don't have much to rant about so I'll TRY to make this short! Today I will be picking up my violin from being repaired. My violin is roughly 150 years old and is worth quite a sum of money, and it needed minor repairs. We had been taking it to a violin repairman, here in town, but when we took it to Milwaukee to get said repairs done, we found out that some things our local guy did were wrong. He even gave me the wrong varnish! *grr* SO, we won't be going to our local violin repair-guy anymore. Not that you cared, but eh. That's my rant for today. Be sure to check out some of my art. I uploaded a few comic sketches! Could someone please look at it and tell be if I should ink it at all? Hello! Tis I, again, here with another post. Summerfest was fun. Enough said. Sara: I don't know when I'm leaving, (special ticket thingy...) but on Monday, we're going to call and see if I can get on the same flight as *Brooklyn accent* me muddah *end accent*. Anywho, As you may or may not know, I have an account at Fanfiction.net. (My name is darkraven06 if you want to check it out.) And I have written 3 fanfictions of Teen Titans. I know, some of you are probably rolling your eyes, but hear...erm..I mean read me out. I have just yesterday written one about my favorite Titan, Beast Boy. In said fanfic (called "Sacrifice") my beloved Beast Boy dies. It was tough to write but I have more chapters to come...Anywho, I have gotten 5 reviews, all good, since I posted it yesterday. This is very uncommon..for me. One person even said that they cried! It touched me deeply that I could touch someone like that! *ponders* Makes you think, huh? Well, that's my rant for today. (If you want to call it that...)
