Hello Today is Thursday. If today is Thursday, then that would mean that the week is ending and next week is approaching. Thus, next week, I leave for Finland. *bites nails* I'm excited yet scared but I won't go into that because I ranted about it a few days ago. Today, on the agenda, I will be going to Summerfest tonight (http://www.onmilwaukee.com/seasonal/summerfest/index.html <-- just copy and pasted into your browser to see what Summerfest is.) I am looking forward to it because I have not gone to Summerfest in many many years! However, there's a downside. The ONE EPISODE of Teen Titans I haven't seen, "Switched," will be on at 9 pm my time and I know we will be at Summerfest. *sigh* Oh well. I'd rather go to Summerfest anyway, even if it means missing my favorite TV show. I'm not that shallow. That's about it. I'm just shocked that it's Thursday already. Meh. Oh well. Today's COMMENTBOX-QUESTIONNAIRE *ominous music plays* is: If you could visit one place in the whole entire world, where would it be and why? I would go to Japan and get manga! Hello! Tis I, Minako, again. Nothing much new...If you need a rant, look at the post below. There are 2 there! heh heh. I uploaded a picture of Wolfwood, from Trigun. Hello!

Hello! Tis I, Minako, again. I hate to disappoint you, but there's nothing to rant about today. Wait! Well, there is... If you have been reading my posts lately *cough* Liam *cough* You will notice that I leave next week for a new adventure in my native land of Finland for a year. To tell you the truth...It's scary. I know, I do have family there and I will make friends, but It feels like I'm leavng everything I know that's in the US behind...(*cough* Just so you know, for all my European friends, I really don't like the US anyway.. *cough*) It's a new school, I'm going to have 3 small cousins to worry about, ages 7, 4, and 2, AND I'm going to be studying violin at a conservatory! That's big stuff! It's not that I don't want to go, trust me, I do! It's just that it's a big adjustment for me. *sigh* Oh well. I'll cope. Oh yes! I have received my scores for my ACT (a college entrance exam if you will, for those that don't know what it is)! I got a 23! (out of 36 points) I took a practice ACT at the beginning of school, and it said I'd get from a 19-23, and I got a 23! I thought the Science section was hard, and lo and behold, it was my best score! Go figure. I guess I was a good guesser! *lol* I will be taking it again when I return from Finland (whenever that is). The colleges that I sent it to will only look at the best score. Speaking of Colleges..my dream college, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, according to the ACT results, maybe could accept me in their Veterinary Medicine program! I am elated! However, my ACT score is in the lower half of what they would accept, but I still have time to think about that now don't I? ^_~ I guess I did have something to rant about, eh? Hello friends! I'm in a good mood again today, so this will be relatively short. I got to see some friends of mine today and I'm very glad I did because I may not get to see them before I leave. We just saw The Stepford Wives , went to a chinese buffet and then to K Mart. It was fun! Well, umm...That's about it. Oh! I also saw The Pianist! It's good, a bit graphic but good. The Pianist tells the story of a Jewish Pianist during WWII. It was quite fascinating, in the sense of how I almost forgot how cruel the war really was. Yeah... Catch you later! Just a quickie post...

Hello! Just a quickie post for today...I went out and about with my parents...fun stuff. I DID get a pair of awesome Harley Davidson Boots (*sparkle* I've always wanted those! *giggles like a school girl*) and a workbook on Japanese! It's soo cool! When I know some Japanese, I'll post some...however, it will be miniscule compared to one who is fluent...Heh. That's my rant for today...and I have a new COMMENT-BOX-QUESTIONNAIRE! *ominous music plays* If you could learn any language, what would it be and why? Mine would have to be, of course, Japanese, or French. Japanese so I can read Manga (heh heh) and French because it sounds cool! Sayonara *bows* ~Minako n.~

Hello!

Tis I, Minako, again, with another boring post. My mother is actually speaking to me again, so I believe that is an improvement. I also have been writing fanfictions of Teen Titans, if you're familiar with the show, check them out! www.fanfiction.net/~darkraven06 Be sure to check out liam mc's site (see 'my friends' drop-down box)! He's such a great guy, and I love him to pieces...literally. Heh. Also keep my dear miss Sara (again see the drop-down box) in your thoughts. She's been having problems at home (apparantly), so please be with her. If you haven't noticed the post color change, I am about to do another color scheme. I am going to include the color orange because...well...*scratches head* I don't know. I just want to. *sticks out tongue* So if the site looks funny for a while, I'm working out the kinks. As of July 5th ~ July 11th, I may be leaving for Finland for a year. (Hopefully I get it on the 8th and the same flight as me mudda, no guarantees) Why that week and no specific date? Well, it's a long story, so it goes like this: It costs a considerable sum less than a regular ticket (it's a "youth ticket"), and they'll tell me what flights, 2 days before said flight. Hey, as long a I get there right? I'm continuing my comment-box-questionnaire...What is your favorite song, by who or whom, and why? If you insist, mine's "Whisper" by Evanescence (did I post this already?) because that song hits me in my heart...Listen to it and maybe you'd understand. Well, that was a long post, eh? Hello. I'm still in a "meh" mood. I'm better than before, but still meh. My mother is mad at me, and I'm leaving the country in 2 weeks for a year.
