Alas, I'm back here in my "home town" of Pori for a whil-...er...I mean, the rest of the year (unless we go to Lapland for Christmas...or if I visit the states...meh).
Today was eventful (for me at least). I came back from Helsinki today at about 2:20 (14:20), then I went to my uncle's restaraunt to eat. (It's really good food, and I get it free! What's better than free food? *no answer* Exactly.) THEN I came back here to the house and also to the annoy- er I mean delightful children. At that point, I was informed that we were going to Yyteri, one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) beach in Finland (it's close to here). I then thought, "Hey, I could go sit on the beach with my book and read for a bit, not necessarily go swimming." Oh HOW I was wrong! I spent most of it swimming with my 7 year old cousin. It was actually fun! We played a few games, like tag, and who can reach the bouy first...I can honestly say I had fun. That's a first. NOW I'm a bit tired, I probably have sand in places I don't even wanna know about, and I'm happy and warm in my sweatshirt and flannel pajama pants. (I love flannel! *melt*) Life is good for the moment.
APUA! MY EYES ARE BURNING!
The above quote is from SamSandy, aka Sage (see my Friends dropdown box) when he saw a beige-colored Marimekko dress. What's funny is that it's in 2 languages! "APUA" is Finnish for "help" and the rest of course is English.
Take Care and may the flannel be with you.
