For a start, I'm MINASUKI, the name was derived from the japanese word 'Minatsuki' or 'Minazuki', which stands for 'the sixth month of the lunar calendar'... i think that's JUNE ^^ (is it? xD) Well, there are several versions for the name, though.. i would usually say that my name means 'i love everyone' because 'mina' stands for 'everybody or everyone' while 'suki' stands for 'like or love'. But actually, I came up with this name when I was in first year highschool without even knowing the meaning! =P I'll be using the name ITSUKI for a while after being mistaken for a girl for i dunno how many times now!!! =_=" -------------- Update: Finally Updated my site after months of inactivity. I was busy with school and I usually visit my devart account too often. I need to finish my outputs quick if I want my dream to be an Animation Director (slash) Artist (slash) Producer (slash) whatever ... to become a reality! Well, it's my childhood dream... and there's nothing wrong with it, right? ^_^ Anyways, about the titles I'm working on recently: > [CoS] > Trial by Vision (renamed the other title ^^ with a name i thought of 6-8 years ago ^^) --------------------------------------- Okay some brief added info on [CoS]: > Conceptualized the Knave, Queen and King Flush (Flush-Wonder)ability to be standard to all suits. Knaves --- ability to swap a Card Summon ability with another Flush's Card Summon Queens --- ability to summon incarnates of Card Summons and this grants exemption to the rule of not using the same card summon within 60 minutes Kings --- immunity to Card Summons > Improved Cheshire Catherina's Character Design (i made her smaller but cuter ^^)... the character design will posted in my portfolio soon. Just need to refine it.. XD > New Term: ULTIMATE (invoked persona or the GLASS FORM of the ACE Flushes (eg. Madeleine Hatori's Mad Hatter Ego) > Balanced the ULTIMATES for all the ACE Flushes. Who's the strongest among them? I'll let you decide ^^ > Hybridized the CLAMP art style with my own Art style. I'm trying to break away from Shojou art style. I'm currently practicing on Shounen Art style. ------------------------------------------------- Brief Info on Trial by Vision: Setting: Another Parellel World/Universe Past-meets-Future setting Genre: Action/Supernatural Output form: Visual Novel (umm.. a novel output with some manga pages on important scenes. This way, my output could be a lot faster! hehehe ^^) Plot: A race of Gorgons (term applies to males as well) are faced with a threat of extinction as powerful kingdoms and races are slaughtering their kind just to obtain their heads. It is said that a gorgon head has the power to turn any mortal to stone just by the look at it or its eyes. Because of this, the Gorgon race are faced with a genocide that threatened their existence and the only way to save themselves is to blend in with other mortal beings and hide their gorgon form. However, they are divided because some thought that it is necessary to empower themselves to take vengeance on their enemies. But some thought that it could only increase their enemies' interest in their power and the best way to save themselves is to hide themselves among the other mortals. This conflict of ideas resulted into a civil war among the Gorgon Race. Grogons are born with hairs of snakes by the moment they are born. A scion to the true throne of the Gorgons was born with an unsual snake hair... a Hydra, which 2 heads arise after one head is cut off. A gorgon's strengths and weaknesses depend on what kind of serpent one has for a hair --- be it a python, a cobra, a boa, or even a dragon (well, they are serpents.. or so i thought ^^). The Gorgons base their bloodline according to the serpentine hair a member of their family has. Actually, a Gorgon has more than one kind of serpent for a hair. The Gorgons can trace back their ancestry or family tree even with their hair because they can inherit the serpentine hair their ancestors or parents have. But their dominant serpentine hair is the true source of their power and has power over other serpents they have as their hair. However, the Gorgon Prince has a unique serpentine hair, a hydra... the first of their kind. It has been said by an Oracle that the scourge of the Gorgon race is one of their own and thst scourge is the most powerful and the only one of their kind who is "different" among them (he has Hydras for a hair... well, along with a dragon and some other snakes). Not only can Gorgons turn their enemies to stone with a glance, but they can also attack their enemies' mind and employ some magic as well. They can also invade their enemies' subconscious (dreams and nightmare) and manipulate it --- which could even result into death. There are other Gorgon abilities but I'm not going to spoil some yet ^^ (infos to be added soon...) This is a prologue to one of my characters in Twilight Dawn/Dusk/Moon: Kryzgen Natagare  ^ yep, this is a shady character design of him. Although this one was drawn based on a concept from Twilight Dawn. Oh well.. ^^ Well, my manga style is kinda different. I rarely use japanese names for character names and I create "hybridized" names on my own. But it's not just names, but I'm trying also to blend different cultures, beliefs, customs, and some others into one... (so as to avoid bias --- in which some animes portray). And I'm more into dialogue than visual scenes... not only because I'm too lazy to draw some scenes but because I want some concepts or the plot to be vivid as possible... ----------------------------------- Posting the new character designs soon and the first chapter as well. I just started to draw again!
