Jou: Please?

Hey i need to ask ya'll a question,do u guys know of any...umm..sereious anime? See,my friend is looking 4 some but i just cant bring myself to remember anything like that..like an example: Trigun,but without the goofy-ness(i know,hes weird like that),(doesnt have to have the same plotline as trigun,but just..ya..) See,like if u've ever seen Vampire Hunter D?...or Hellsing,something like that...if u could help me out id be most apriciative! I'll ttyl ppl! BYE ^^!
