   This is my script. Please leave a comment about it. good or bad. Please don't cut & paste this I worked all summer for this! It's called:
Careful What You Wish For:

Scene 1 Act 1:

Setting: Lilly is talking on the phone with Gabriel. Her room is a mess & there are pictures everywhere. You might want to show Gabriel in her room to by going back & forth.)

Lilly: Yeah so the party’s going to be a blast!
Gabriel: I know! What do you think your parents are going to get you?
Lilly: Some money for shopping. They’ve been doing it since I was 10.
Gabriel: What are we doing at the party?
Lilly: Well its co-ed so some dancing, possibly spin the bottle, & I think I’m renting a Horror movie.
Gabriel: Well duh! Do you watch anything else? And you wonder why Tony & I are the only ones’ who’ll go to the movies with you?
Lilly: Shut up! I like the thrill! Plus it great for dates!
Gabriel: Yeah but usually the guy picks movies & the girl snuggles to him. The problem you only go if the movie is way to highly rated & Tony gets scared shit less!
Lilly: Any who! I got to get ready! See ya later Gabriel!
Gabriel: bye Lilly!
(Scene ends)

Scene 1 Act 2:
Setting: A party in the Smith’s living room. Presents are being opened. It’s Lilly’s 16th b-day. Gabriel & Tony sit on either side of Lilly. About 16 teen’s in total. All are acting happy & are having fun.

Lilly: Thanks Sara! I love this shirt! (Present optional. It could be pants, money etc.)
(Mr. Smite brings out cake with two candles made in the shape of 16. Everyone starts singing ‘Happy Birthday’)
Lilly (eco in her head says) I wish my life were a horror story
(Lilly blows both out with no effort.)
Mrs. Smite: Why don’t you guys watch that new horror movie Lilly?
Lilly: K Mom! Do you need any help?
Mrs. Smite: Naw, I think I can manage. You kids have fun!
Friend 1: I think I’ll go home; I’m not that big on horror stories.
Lilly: Are you sure? We can watch something else if you want.
Friend 1: That’s o.k. Just at my sweet sixteen we’ll watch what I want!
(There is laughter throughout group. Movie starts & scene ends)

Scene 2 Act 2

Setting: Lilly’s bedroom, it’s a mess. All over room there are pictures.

Mrs. Smite: (calling) Lilly get up or you’ll be late for school! Breakfast is ready!
Lilly: (groaning) K Mom! Be there in a sec!
(Lilly enters kitchen hair & pj’s a mess. Pancakes for breakfast)
Mr. Smite: Good morning sunshine! Today’s your first full day of being 16! How’s it feel?
Lilly: Fine. Hey, Tony & I might catch a movie later K? So I might be home around 9.
Mr. Smite: Your spending too much time with Tony & “Your Girl‘s“! You do know there are other things in life than boys & girl talk? You have a future to think of young lady!
Lilly: Dad! Come on! You’re only young once! It’s not like I’m doing drugs,
Smoking or stuff like that! Why can’t you trust me? My Grades are o-k anyway!
Mr. Smite: That’s right ‘O-k’ not great or excellent! In two years you’re going off to College! A B- average isn’t going to get you too far!
Mrs. Smite: Robert! Leave her alone! It was her birthday yesterday! If she doses her homework by the time the movie starts than I have no objection.
Mr. Smite: You’re too easy on her! She needs discipline to get somewhere in life.
Lilly: Dad, can we discus this later I got to get ready for school. Can I go or not?
Mr. Smite: Fine Go! There’s no way I’m going to win. You Girls always stick together!
Lilly: Thanks you two! Love you! I’ll help out at the store tomorrow I promise!
Mr. Smite: Yeah, yeah. I’ll see you later! I’ve got to go open up.
Mrs. Smite: I’ll be their around 10. I’ve got some shopping to do.
Mr. Smite: Fine, see you then.
(Lilly leaves to get ready for school. Scene ends)

Scene 3 Act 2:

(Lilly is heading to school (walking) & passing an old house, he runs out of the house with an axe & is yelling get away yanks)
Lilly: Oh shit! A little help! Some body help me! (Her voice gets more scared as she is talking).
(The Man’s daughter comes out on the stoop the father came from
Crazy Guy’s daughter: Crap! Dad! Stop it! She isn’t a yank! It’s Lilly! Dad Stop it! Leave her alone
Crazy Guy: Lilly? Who’s Lilly? Oh!!! You mean the flower? Aw! She’s growing up before my very eyes. (He starts talking to a flower).
Crazy Guys daughter: Sorry! I turned for a second trying to get his meds! & when I went to give them to him he was gone! I’m sooooo sorry!
Lilly: Jesus! He could have killed me! So excuse me if a simple apology doesn’t make me forget this any time soon! If anything like this happens again I’ll call the cops! I don’t see why you just don’t let him live in a home! Everyone would be safer! I’m going to be late for school!
(Lilly runs off before Daughter can say anything.)

Scene 4 Act 2
(Lilly arrives at school & goes to her locker. Gabriel is waiting there for her.)
Gabriel: God! What happened to you? Were you mugged or something? You look awful!
Lilly: No. Remember that wired guy on my street?
Gabriel: Yeah…
Lilly: He chased me down the block with an axe!
Gabriel: Seriously? You’re not kidding?
Lilly: Dose it look like I’m kidding? His daughter stopped him & apologized, but come on! The guy would have killed me if he had the chance!
Gabriel: Come on were going to be late! We can talk about it in English. The teacher’s so blond she won’t notice.
(Girls laugh & go to class. As they leave they walk all over a freshly mopped floor.)
Lilly: Sorry, Mr. Jives!
(The janitor glares at them with mop in hand.)
Mr. Jives: (muttering) tonight.

Scene 5 Act 2

(Lilly & Gabriel are whispering, until, Ms. Prince comes to Lilly’s desk & bangs the yardstick so loud Gabriel falls out of her chair)
Ms. Prince: Girls! Can I ask what is so important that you couldn’t wait till the end of class?
Lilly: I’m not sure if you can or not Miss, but you may ask if you wish. Who thought that I would be teaching the English teacher grammar! I can tell you it wasn’t me!
Ms. Prince: That’s enough attitude missy! I shall not be spoken to in such a way! OFFICE! Both of you! NOW!

Scene 6 Act 2

Lilly: Sorry ‘bout getting you in trouble Gab.
Gabriel: That’s o-k. Sooner or later you bad luck would have run off on me any way.
Lilly: Yeah, hell of a day I’m having. I thought this was going to be my sweet sixteen?
(Both girls burst off laughing until the principle comes out yelling at them for making such a noise. Then, taking them into his/her office.)


Scene 1 Act 3

Lilly: She’s such a bitch! I can’t go to the movies with you because I have to spend the next week wiping crap, and God knows what, off toilets! Yay! I can’t wait!
Gabriel: At least you don’t have to spend it locked up with Ms. Bitch!
Tony: How are you going to explain this your parents Lilly? Your Dad is going to murder you.
Lilly: He wouldn’t be the only one who’s tried! This morning that mad man on my street chased me with an axe! That’s what we were talking about & I was in a bad mood so I told her off & tada!
(Bell rings)
Tony: Better get to class or I won’t be able to see you for a month!
Lilly: Ha ha! That’s very funny. Call you later if I don’t drown in the toilets!
(Group laughs & departs.)

Scene 1 Act 4

(After school Lilly is cleaning toilets when she hears a noise.)
Lilly: Hullo? Is any one there?
Mr. Jives: I’ve been watching you for along time.
Lilly: I didn’t think toilets could be so interesting!
Mr. Jives: (small laugh) you have an awesome personality. We are going to very happy together.
Lilly: Chill dude! It’s only a week. It’s not like it’s an entreaty.
Mr. Jives: (looking at the window) it’s time. Do not worry. It shall only hurt for a moment. Then we can only be together forever. (Eco forever)
(Mr. Jives turns steps back into the shadows & screams painfully.)
Lilly: Are you o-k?
(Mr. Jives steps out & is now a werewolf. Lilly screams. He jerks his head towards her & slowly advances.)
Lilly: Oh-shit!
(Grabs a toilet brush & hits him so he hits his head off something. He is knocked out. Lilly runs out the bathroom & down the halls. Then she hears a howl. She finds Ms Prince & Gabriel)
Lilly: (breathless & stuttering) Y-you must g-get out o-of here! Before h-he gets you! He’ll kill you!
Ms. Prince: Lilly, what are on about?
Lilly: Trust me! Run!
(A Lilly grab Gabriel hand & pulls her away shouting at Ms Prince to run. Mr. Jives comes to the intersection in the hall way quickly sees Ms Prince & jumps on her & starts eating her alive. (You might want to show organs flying everywhere.) Gabriel is frozen & Lilly drags her into the janitor’s closet.)
Gabriel: O-k who the hell did you piss off yesterday! Tell me everything you did! Now!
Lilly: You were there for most of it.
Gabriel: O-k… tell me everything you did that was out of the ordinary! Quick before he finishes off Ms Prince.
Lilly: I cleaned my room; I made a wish on my b-day cake.
Gabriel: What did you wish for?
Lilly: Um…O-shit!
Gabriel: What?
Lilly: that my life was a horror story. I thought those cake wishes never came true!
Gabriel: Yeah, never come true! This happens to every teen at one point! Hey it’s life! What the hell were you thinking? You wish for something helpful! Like a new shirt! Not something that you don’t think will happen & it turns your life into a living hell! What Am I going to do if we survive this! Let’s hope it’s a one-day deal!
(The girls hear scratching at the door getting more & more intense.)
Lilly: What’ll do we do?
(Werewolf brakes down the door & is breathing heavily. Gabriel grabs a mop & hits him with it. He bites it & snaps it in half.)
Gabriel: Well that was helpful!
(Werewolf jumps on her. He bites her on the neck. Lilly starts throwing stuff at him.)
Lilly: Go away you freak! I fucken hate you! You hear that? You’re a freak; a pervert & I hate you! I will never love you! GET OUT OF HERE!!!
(He looks at her with this pain n his eyes, but not the same pain as before. He runs off.)
Gabriel: Well glad that’s over. It must suck to be sixteen! I just glad I’ll never be able to be sixteen! Thanks Mr. Pervert Werewolf! I’d owe you one but I’m about to die so it’s kind of hard! Hey I wish there was a window in here maybe you could make a wish on a shooting star or the first star you see tonight. Oh! I know! Look on the floor for a penny!
(Lilly burst out in tears.)
Lilly: I’m so sorry! It’s all my fault!
Gabriel: It’s o-k! Just next time is careful what you wish for! O-k? Tell my Mom I love her. (The ‘her’ should be on an exhale)
(Gabriel passes out. Lilly grabs a silver cross chain off Gabriel‘s neck.)
Lilly: Don’t worry Gab. He’ll pay for this.
(She runs out of the school into the woods next door.)

Scene 2 Act 4

(She runs in the woods for any amount of time until she comes to an old mansion that’s falling apart. She cautiously walks to the door, pauses. Then she knocks on the door but it falls down on the first knock.)
Lilly: (timidly) Hullo? Is anyone there?
(She hears a noise upstairs & goes to investigate. Stairs creak etc.)
Lilly: Hullo?
(She opens up the door. She sees her parents dying together after being shot by a robber. She also sees Tony-committing suicide by hanging (heartbreak) stuff like that)
(She opens the second door.)
Friend 1: Lilly was such a show off last night at her party! That whole we can watch something else was such an act! What a bitch!
Friend 2: I know did you see how she was holding on to Tony? What a show off! We know she wasn’t scared. Usually Tony is the one who’s scared! He hates those kinds of movies! Then today she made that scene in class with that Gabriel horeor.
Friend 1: I heard! She’s such a control freak! God I hate her!
(Goes blurry & scene shifts)
Mr. Smith: Lilly’s Grades are down yet again. She needs to spend more time studying.
Mrs. Smith: She has a B- average! That’s better than what we had!
Mr. Smith: Mary, that’s beside the point. She has such potential but waste’s it on boys & gossip hour. Oh! I mean gossip hours!
Mrs. Smith: Oh! So I have no potential! Well at least you have potential! Enough to sleep on the couch!
(Goes blurry & scene shifts. Tony & a friend are at lockers when then the slam them shut & start walking to class.)
Friend 3: So how’s you & Lilly, T?
Tony: I don’t know! I think she’s playing with me. Well she normal around everyone else but when was alone but she’s different.
Friend 3: Different in a good way or in a bad way?
Tony: I don’t know. She flirts more & is friendlier, if you know what mean. I love her but not when we’re alone.
Friend 3: Just happy you’re getting some, unlike my single self!
(They exchange nervous smiles. Room goes black & Lilly moves on to the next door. She opens hesitantly. The third door show’s her, 9-year-old self, bunching a schoolmate. Then it shows her making fun & bullying various people. Lilly slams the door shut & runs out of the house skipping the 4th door. She runs to a small lake, & cry’s her eyes out. Then she hears movement in the bushes behind her. As she turns around a beaver pops out foaming at the mouth. Lilly screams & falls into the lake. The beaver fallows her in. Lilly puts in a struggle but the beaver eventually bites her. Lilly stabs him with the silver chain. The lake fills with blood & the beaver swims away. Lilly runs out of the lake & in to the woods. After awhile she starts stumbling & starts scratching her self all over but she doesn’t notice until huge chunks of skin start coming off. She leans on a tree & slides until she‘s sitting. She starts crying. Then she dies cold & alone.)
Director might want to add any one of the epilogues:

Some hikers find her two weeks later decaying.
Gabriel was found in time to save her,
Tony never committed suicide but after they found Lilly her got diagnosed with depression & never got over Lilly’s death.
Gabriel went clinically insane & now goes to therapy.
