Boredom... blah.
Hey, guys. First off, thanks for all the comments. I actually got ten this time! I never get that many.
But anyway, I had to give up on the original background I wanted to use, and so found a different one. I would post the link to the original wallpaper, but I don't have the link right now, nor the HTML memorized that would allow it to show, so if you want it you can just PM me and ask. XP I guess...
Other than that, I haven't been doing anything. At all. It's so boring, maybe I'll go review some Latin words later. Or read a book. Yeah, haven't done that in awhile. But, I did get my State Fair job card, so I know I'm working there later in August. I just don't know what parking lot I'll be working yet; they didn't tell us this year straight off. That's a bit annoying. I really don't wanna get stuck with the bad lots. >.< Hopefully, they'll do what they usually do, and assign you to the lot you worked in last year since you have that area memorized. Must cross fingers and hope!
I hope you've all been well. Again, thanks for the feedback on the last post. Have a good'un!

Grrrr.
My computer's annoying me right now. More specifically, Photobucket is annoying me right now. It keeps resizing this image, that is UNDER 1 MB, yet still keeps resizing the gashsplurned thing! Ugh!
The reason I need to use Photobucket for this image is 'cause it's not showing up on my site with the original link unless I reload it from the site. So question: Can you see the background image right now? Is it at least loading? If yes, then I don't have to torture myself like this any longer. But if no... I have a battle with Photobucket still. -_-;
But yeah, otherwise, I got another soundtrack (.hack//Liminality OST), so that makes me happy. Maybe I should go listen to it now, lest I think about Photobucket any longer. Ta for now!

Update. Wai...
Hey guys. ^_^ Abby's a happy monkey lately. For Abby got to see some of .hack//Roots, the newest .hack anime. Heheh, I was so hyper just after watching five minutes of the first episode. In fact, I ordered the .hack//Roots soundtrack before even finishing the first episode. The feel certainly is different, but I think they did a good job with it. Haseo's quite the character. Heheh, this is all you need, a new .hack thing for me to obsess over and go on and on about. ~_^
Anyway, really not much else to say. But I am curious about one thing, so I would like to ask you this question. What is your favorite anime merchandise? Like CDs, plushies, T-shirts, DVDs, etc. I love buying the soundtracks myself. I'm thinking of buying another CD today or tomorrow, actually...
Well, I hope this past week has been pretty good for you guys. Don't give up!

Gashsplurnit.
Good afternoon, peoples! Tis 2:18 PM on the Pacific Coast right now, and I wish it wasn't already.
Just a real quick update. I got 3000 hits recently to my site. Thanks for stickin' with me guys!
And a bit of advice: Make sure to give artists real, constructive criticism. Any comment is welcome, but they especially like advice on how they can do better. And if you get a message from someone complaining about your criticism, screw them. XP Most will like those kinds of comments, trust me.
So, I hope you guys are doing better than I have the past week. Gosh, wish I wasn't such a whiner sometimes...
Ta, my monkies!

Za Pirrows, RIVE!
Hey y'all!
Just wonderin', did anyone see The Pillows in concert? Me and some friends went a couple weeks ago for one in Seattle. bellpickle also wrote an article about her experience at a Pillows concert, if you want to read up on it. I also commented a bit about my experience, but here's the gist of it. Long line, yet small club; no bathrooms, yet drinks were served; Pillows were great, but only played for an hour.
So, there ya go. It was fun, but by the end of it, I felt like I had wet my pants (twas only sweat XP). I actually enjoyed going to this Asian market, Uwajimaya, more than the concert. I bought a Japanese bun filled with sweet bean paste at the market, and it was pretty good! I also sampled some melon bread, and that was really good too.
There's also a bookstore there, Kinokuniya, that was so awesome! They had imported CDs from anime and Jpop/Jrock bands, plus imported anime and manga, and just... a lot of cool stuff, trust me! I was able to buy the .hack//extra CD there. v^.^ I'm so going back when I have more money to spare, so cool...
Some other things worth mentioning, I suppose. I crashed into our neighbor's car a few days ago. I don't really want to talk about it, I'm pretty angry at myself for doing it. Luckily, my parents' insurance will cover it, the damage isn't major, but not minor either; our neighbors were nice about it too, but still... *sigh*
At least I was able to get away from the warzone that is our neighborhood for the 4th of July. Went to my aunt's place with my mom, sister and brother for a couple of days. It was nice to get away, just not very nice staying in such a small apartment. I did get to watch a couple of AMVs using my aunt's computer; saw a funny one of Record of Lodoss War to Safety Dance.
Well, that's about it. I've basically finished my schoolwork, so I might be online more often. Or not. I also might change my theme a bit...
Anyway, ta! *hugs*

Anime Monkey update!
I don't know if you know, but I do have a Freewebs site called Anime Monkey, which you can get to by clicking my Anime Monkey banner up above.
Until now, it wasn't a great site, just a way for me to keep track of the clubs I've joined and founded on here. But now, since I actually want to put something on there that people will be interested in, I've made a Links section! I have three links up right now, but I will add more as I remember them.
Other than that, I am having over a couple of friends tomorrow to watch J2, sequel to Jubei-chan! I was able to buy the first two DVDs because of a great deal at the mall a week or so ago. Here's hopin' this series is even half as good as the original! ('Cause you know it probably won't be, especially since the first one was so great.)
And, because I feel like being a fangirl over .hack for a second here, I bought the first book of .hack//Another birth, and finally finished it, considering how short it was. It was alright, a good way to see just what was going on with BlackRose's life during the PS2 games. But I shall not go on! No worries, now. Not much else to say about it anyway. XP
I'll be sure to check your sites in the next day or two. I love you guys! *hugs*

Still on .hack high
Well, Quarantine came the day after I made my last post. And I've beaten it already. It was really fun, the final boss was just a bit too easy; I leveled up quite a lot beforehand, you see. Also, the final dungeon in the game, which is supposed to be the hardest thing ever, I did on my first try, with my Infection rate at almost all blue. (If you've played even one .hack game, you'll understand what I just said. XP) But, it's been fun. I'll miss playing through the plot and stuff. Now, I can only look forward to this Item Completion Event. It's just what it sounds like: 758 items to register in order to get these really cool extras. Dang.
Hmmm, maybe I'll watch some of my favorite .hack//SIGN episodes sometime soon. Twould be fun.
I don't know if any of you guys post on the Otakuboards, but I have been lately. This is pretty much the first time I've seen so many interesting threads with NICE people in a forum. So, I'm giving the place a shot. I joined a long time ago, a couple months after joining theOtaku, but never really posted.
By the way, anyone ever read the book Pygmalion? Read it for school yesterday; I just wish for once, I could read something with pointless fluff, yet not too dramatic. *le sigh* It's always stuff like Wuthering Heights or this recent book. Gashsplurn you, classic English literature!
Sorry for the boring post. All I ever do is talk about .hack these days, no? I hope all of you are well. At the least, I'll go around and visit sites in the next couple of days. Ta!

Obsessive One
Oi, I'm in the mood to watch a .hack//SIGN AMV. Problem is, I can't find any that look funny! Come on, people. I have several ideas in my head for funny .hack AMVs. If only I could actually make them. Gashsplurnit...
Well, just a quick post. At this moment, I'm bummed. I didn't do as well on my final Latin test as I would've liked; I made a lot of basic mistakes. You know, mistaking third person singular verbs for plural verbs instead when translating an English sentence... darnit.
Also, .hack//QUARANTINE hasn't come yet! Blast. I'm as done as I can be with Outbreak, so... I'm lost. I guess I could watch some anime, but... me want more .hack goodness!
On the plus side, I came here today. v^.^ Congrats to jazie for getting third place in the mock-interview contest. It was very funny, really. And also, Neoterik submitted a FFVII:AC article, with help from Taltos. That was enjoyable as well. So if you guys have the time, check those two things out.
I really should be finishing up my schoolwork for the day. >.> Have to finish reading The Great Divorce. So, ta for now then!

Hey, look! I'm not dead! I'm posting, see? Yay!
Man, it's been over a month now since I last posted... or since I've been online, for that matter.
First off, special thanks to MysticFlame for remembering my birthday. That was back in April, on the 21st. Thanks J-chan! *huggles from afar*
Well, if any of you are curious as to what the heck I've been doing the past month (and I'm sure you're not), I've been mainly playing my new .hack games! v^.^ Yes, I've finally started getting them! Took me long enough. You think because I'm such a huge .hack fan, I would've gotten them sooner. Anyway, I found a site that sells all the four PS2 games BRAND-NEW for real cheap. And it's legal and everything; no bootlegs or nothin'. (So, if anyone wants the link, you can just PM or comment for it.) I just need the last one now, Quarantine.
All I can say about that is... FINALLY! The games are the center of the .hack universe; all those different references and everything in the other .hack series, I finally get it! Anyway, I'll stop myself here...
One other tiny bit of news: I have glasses now. Just today, in fact. My vision isn't so bad without them, I just mainly need it for driving and reading. I also have my permit now, so can't wait to start practicing. v^.^
I hope everyone has been ducky. I'll go around and check some sites later or tomorrow. Ta!

Wai.
Hawwo! Looky, looky! I'm posting, for like reals! ^.^
Hey, I changed my theme! It's now entirely .hack// goodness! Background is .hack//SIGN, avatar is from .hack//AI Buster, and the song is from .hack//liminality. Heheh, I had the great pleasure to see liminality last Saturday with a friend. Twas AWESOME. I love it, so cool!
By the way, Sakura-Con was indeed great fun. I was able to find the entire .hack//SIGN series, among other .hack// merchandise. In fact, all I bought was .hack//SIGN stuff. Eheh, Monkey is newly obsessed, methinks.
My costume was just fine. The tail kept getting bumped around by people, but it endured. So cool! Even if I was wearing a somewhat dorky costume among many other, cooler costumes, I didn't care. It was really fun. I've posted the pictures, just click here.
One thing that was particularly exciting was the Anime Dating Game. If you EVER go to Sakura-Con, make sure to go to this. There was so much energy in that room... so much fun. *cries out of sheer joy*
You know what? I've already decided what I'm cosplaying as next year: Sora from .hack//SIGN. He's such a great character, I must go as him! My brother might even cosplay next year at the convention too, if he goes at all.
After going to Sakura-Con, I can't stop talking about it. Especially about next year's costume though. Tis never too early to start.
But now, I return to reality. School... and, uh... >.> Animal Crossing. Luckily, I have no homework tonight, so I may freely surf the web. Hope you all had a pleasant day. Ta!
