I'm SO Hot!

No, literally... it's like an oven where I live! Oy! I really hope it's not this hot when I go work at the State Fair... >.< *gulps* Well, I got my hair cut today. Twas a good thing, it was getting pretty long for short hair. The woman that cuts my hair is super nice too. Her name is Georgi (>.> sure hope I'm spelling it right!). Even though I'm not a talkative person, I usually find something to say with her. (Well, I'm only talkative with people I know, so there ya go.) Now, this was pretty much just the usual haircut. I went in, Georgi cut my hair and we talked, my hair looked fabulous afterwards... but today was different; special if you will. Because today, when I called home so someone could pick me up, it was busy... You wanna know why it was busy? Because Ducky was online. Ugh... she had been online when I left too. I think I finally understand how people feel when they try to call our house, and the phone is "busy" due to one of us girls being on. My haircut was done around 2:10 pm. I didn't get home until 2:50. (I should be thankful that I wasn't there longer, though!) Well, other than that, nothin' too special's been happening in real life. Now, my online business... that's a whole different story! Oh, don't worry, I won't talk about this too long, since I know how much you love when I talk about this kinda stuff. Just a couple of things to mention, that's all. Really. First off, I submitted another .hack wallpaper today. It's pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I hope people like it... I'm also planning on changing my theme soon, to (what else?) .hack//SIGN. I just need to find the right wallpaper, and the right avatar... and blah blah blah. You get the idea. I could use some help on something though. I want to make it so my posts have their own little background and border. Ya know what I mean? Just a black surface and a white border, so that you guys can actually read the words from now on. I don't know how to do that, though. If anyone does know how, please help me! It's too hot, gashsplurnit!
It truly is. Why must it be this way... in Washington?! It's supposed to rain here 90% of the time. Psshaw! That's not true at all, at least not where I live. If you live in Eastern Washington, it's even worse!

I'm such a wuss... a few minutes ago, a bug buzzed right in my ear, and I freaked out. For awhile, it was actually on me too. Ugh, I hate bugs so much! I think I have a phobia, I really do. I was almost crying; or, at least, I had tears in my eyes. Thank goodness Ducky squished it.

See, that's why I hate summer. The heat and bugs. I hate both.
Bugs scare the crap out of me, and the heat only helps to bring more towards me. And all the sweaty-ness... tis not fun. I know I'm complaining quite a bit right now, but I need to get this out.

... anyway. I submitted my first .hack wallpaper today. It's pretty cool, I'm rather proud of it. I've found a "technique" where I can make better wallpapers faster. Well, how fast I can make 'em depends on how long it takes me to find a suitable background. Seriously, I spend too much time on the computer just looking for backgrounds. It's really bad, I need to stop with that.

Blah... blah again.
Well, I'm back home now. It feels great to be here, too. I just really needed to get away from my Aunt's house... all the stuff that happened there, ya know.

Papa's memorial service... hmmm, what to say? I did cry, I knew I would. My uncle cried too. Apparently, when he was at the funeral home where Papa's body was for private viewing, he would go into the bathroom and just start sobbing. Poor Uncle Lawrence! That in itself makes me want to cry, just seeing people I love crying like that.

So yes, I'm very glad to be home. Of course, I'm still grieving over my grandfather's death. It just has to happen. I'll eventually accept the fact that he's actually gone...

I don't really feel like a long post today. Ta then.

I'm Back, Yo!
At least long enough to check your sites, and post this. I'm actually still at my Aunt's house. (If you're confused, read my previous post.) Luckily, we go home tomorrow. I'm glad, I've been very homesick!

Papa's memorial service is tomorrow. He's not being buried, he'll be cremated, it's what he wanted. I'll probably cry. I've cried twice so far, so once more wouldn't hurt, right? My mom has cried a lot, she really misses him! Papa's obituary was published today, too. It's a good one, and a long one. Man, Papa did so many things! I must post the whole obituary later, I swear I will.

The whole trip up here hasn't been bad at all, though. It's just the circumstance that makes it sad.

But anyway, it hasn't been all bad. In fact, I've gotten quite a few nice things while we've been here, my favorite being a silk tablerunner straight from Shanghai, China! I know, so awesome! If anyone wants, I can take a picture of it and post it on here (but only if you want).

It's also been good to see Nanny (my grandmother, and last grandparent). Some old stories about my grandparent's and my mom's life have been told, which have been very interesting. You don't realize right away that your grandparents are people too, who were young once and have their own memories. I have a whole new attitude towards Nanny, and I find it easier to talk with her as well.

My Uncle Lawrence, Aunt Beth, and my cousins (Frank and Chris) came up for Papa's death. It's been good to see them, but not because of the situation... not at all. We've been able to go out to dinner with them a few times, including tonight. Of course, Frankie acts almost the same as when we were all kids. Heheh...

Now, on to some short online business. I was able to check all the sites that were updated today, and left comments on every one. I won't be making any wallpapers until tomorrow, or even Tuesday (depends on how I feel). There's something I'm doing tomorrow for certain, but I won't say what it is now...
Also, thanks to everyone who commented yesterday. It's good to know you care.

Rest In Peace
Yesterday was supposed to be like any other ordinary day, but now... I'll forever remember it as the day Papa, my grandfather, died. Just last night, after I got offline. I still can't believe he's gone... this all feels like a dream.

We always thought my grandmother would die before Papa. But, to hear that he's dead now... such a shock. I'm really going to miss him. He was my buddy, I loved him a lot.
Thank goodness his death was quick and painless. He was in his right mind, and he was still living at home. Everyone wants to go that way... at least I know Papa's in a better place now.

If you could please just pray for the people that were close to Papa, like my mom and my Aunt and Uncle, it would really help.

I won't be checking anyone's sites today, or for the next few days. Ducky, Mom and I are going up to stay with my Aunt for a few days (she's been taking care of Nanny and Papa for a very long time now). I doubt I'll be on at all. I guess I'll see you Sunday/Monday.

Yabbagooden
Tis a lovely day today. The sun is shinin', the birds are singing... stupid-ass thieves are getting flamed. >.> Eheh... Yeah. If you haven't heard, there's been this jerk on myOtaku who's been stealing other people's work. I've actually gone to flame him myself; I even reported him too. I hope he gets banned, what a jerk! (If you would like to flame this a**hole too, press one now!)
And, after this post, I'm not gonna mention him ever again. *nods*

In other news, I'm really getting into Skies of Arcadia Legends. Tis a pretty fun RPG for the GameCube (well, it was originally a Dreamcast game, but whatever). Yesterday, my siblings and I had to go to Sears to get passport photos for our vacation this summer (heh, we're going to Mexico! More on that later). While we were at the mall (where Sears was), we decided to buy some things.
I was finally able to find the 20th volume of InuYasha! Man, I've been looking for that for a long time!
I was also going to buy some Ranma 1/2, but Kyle and Eric went to EBX before I could. >.> And, that's where Kyle found a copy of Skies of Arcadia Legends! He showed it to me, and asked, "Hey, didn't you want this game?"
YES, I did! There aren't that many RPGs for the GameCube, and I love RPGs, so... I bought it. Heck, it was pretty cheap for a GCN game.
So, no new Ranma 1/2 for me. That's fine. Now that I'm all caught up in my other manga series, I can concentrate on Ranma until June (when the new Bleach volume comes out).

... oh yeah! <.< New game. Ahem...

It's pretty fun. Last night, I played for about four hours straight! Today, I got in another two before I got online. Heh, I'll probably play some more after I'm done here, too.
BUT FIRST! I must change my theme to SOAL, and I also have to finish this Vyse wallpaper I'm workin' on.

Pizza Night, Y'all!
Well, I'm feeling much better now, compared to how I was in my last post. All of your comments made me feel better, and loved too. Tis very nice to know that I can always come here when I'm feeling sad. You guys are the best! I must do something to thank everyone...

Whelp, for a few days, I didn't make any wallpapers. How weird, I usually make at least one every day... heh, tis interesting that even though I wasn't making anything the past couple days, I still got tons of downloads! It's actually quite comforting. I love making wallpapers, so it makes me happy when people download something I worked fairly hard on.
Anyway, I worked over an hour on a Tsubasa wallpaper today, and it came out looking pretty much exactly like I wanted it to. Except for Kurogane's hair; that part was really hard! It always is with any wallpaper, just ask any Senior Artist. Darn it, why must Kuro-tan's hair be so spiky and sexy?!

I also made a Bleach wallpaper (although it didn't take an hour to make). Tis only my second one, actually. I'll probably make more in the near future.

But enough about wallpaper stuff! I have something weird to tell.
Yes indeed, because my life is full of weird events!
Well, yesterday at church, I saw one of the dudes from the Halo party! In fact, we sat right in back of him! Isn't that weird? When we walked up, I thought, "Hey, isnt' that poner? From the Halo party?" I thought of asking him, but what if I was wrong? I decided not to risk it.
But then, when everyone was greeting one another, poner turned around and saw me, then said, "Whoa!" Heheh... he sounded like such a surfer dude! It was really funny, I laughed as soon as he said that! I wish Kyle had gone to see it for himself (he and Eric stayed home to sleep some more). Of course, I told him when we got home from church.

Isn't that really weird? It is to me...

By the way, I wasn't on at all yesterday, so I wasn't able to check anyone's sites that were updated (yesterday >.>). I would've checked 'em today, but there was so much else to check! I didn't have the time! Oh well...

So Very Tired...
I was going to post something today, about what's happened over the past couple of days, and in relatively full detail. But, I don't feel like that anymore. I'll just sum it up for you.

Rachel came, she's really nice, very likeable; found out she likes Tsubasa too; stayed overnight, left for the ferry next day.
By then, I was at Kyle's college for a Halo 2 party; twas very fun, found out I was actually not as bad as I thought I was; played Halo for five hours straight too.

Came home, found out that Rachel's ferry had blown an engine, so she stayed over for another night.
This morning, I woke up and she had already left for the airport. So... yeah, a very short version of what happened the past couple of days. It would've been longer, but I really don't feel like taking forever to post something you probably don't want to read about.

I guess I'm just a bit sad right now. I can't seem to concentrate on anything. I can't even think of stuff to say in comments! Rest assured, I did check everyone's sites, I just didn't comment on every one of them. I usually do, but I just couldn't today...

That also means I'm not up to making any wallpapers, let alone a Tsubasa one. Just can't think of any good ideas... I don't think I'll make anything today, but that's fine I guess. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.
To be truthful, I went to the Tsubasa wallpaper section, and I saw all these wonderful wallpapers! I really wish I had the tools and patience to make stuff like that all the time, instead of submitting tons of mediocre wallpapers. I think that's another reason why I couldn't make anything today... whether it be jealousy or something else, I couldn't come up with any ideas after seeing those. *sighs*

Oh My Gosh!
Everyone, listen to this! I just found out that there's gonna be a Tsubasa movie in theatres soon! OH MY GOSH!

Of course, it's only coming out in Japan, but still! The anime just came out, right? And there's already a movie? SWEET!

Anime: The Sequel!
Oh my... I had the best lunch today! Man Se teriyaki, it's the best! It's also very filling, they give you so much food! I'm not gonna be hungry for awhile now. Eheh... I'm also broke again. Eh, money comes and goes, doesn't really matter.

Man, I'm in a bit of a tough spot right now. My computer's being mean and making all the images on the internet fuzzy! I'm afraid to make any wallpapers. >.< What if they stay fuzzy, because I saved it when it was fuzzy?

Aiyaa... I was gonna try and make at least four today too, to possibly make up for what I can't do tomorrow. You see, Ducky's friend, Rachel, is coming to our house tomorrow to spend the night. She's on her way to Alaska, where she'll be for the next five months.
Yes, you read right, five months! That's insane, I can't imagine doing that.
Well, I've been wanting to meet Rachel for awhile now. Apparently, she's really nice and funny, and cute too. We'll see about that...

Anyway, I don't even know if I'll get online at all tomorrow, 'cause of Rachel. We'll just have to wait and see, I suppose.

Since I can't work on wallpapers, I'm working on this CD (thus the reason for the title). I've already burned a CD with a bunch of anime songs on it, so now tis time for the sequel! lol

Well, my wallpapers have gotten 9000 downloads. I thought they would today, heh. ^_^ The next 1000 should come quickly enough. At least, I hope it does!
