Break the sword of justice!
Hello.
I'm tired.
Of what, pray tell?
Of stupid people. Yes, they never seem to end, now do they? Today's dumbass is none other than a Super Liberal!
But wait, what's a "Super Liberal"? It's an incredibly annoying and stupid version of the liberal.
Anyway, this woman, or Super Liberal, made a statement on a radio program about "intelligent design" in schools, and obviously was opposed to it. Although I don't remember exactly what she said, I can recollect one line of hers:
"I don't care if intelligent design is true or not, I don't want someone telling me what to do, how long my skirt needs to be, etc."
There was also mention of a "Christian taliban" in the United States, which I find extremely insulting. How dare she think something like that. What a low blow. I'm steaming over this right now; I won't go on and on about it, for that is just annoying, but it is worth mentioning on here, to your great pleasure of course.
I would just like to make a few things clear: Christians are not trying to control your life! They want to give you this option, and whatever you do with it is your own choice. We only want to be heard. True, there are "Super Christians" out there, like those that protested against Harry Potter because it was "Satanic", and saying "J.K. Rowling is a Satan worshipper". But you cannot judge all the Christians in the world by these people. It seems the worst examples always end up in the news, no? I just hope the same can be said for liberals out there. I have to hope that all liberals are not like our special dumbass-of-the-day.
Also, what she said about not wanting to be told what to do, sounds like a child not listening to its parent. Plus, it's also very hypocritical, since Christians aren't allowed to pray in schools, or teach Creationism to their kids, or do anything at all concerning our faith! This woman doesn't want to be controlled, yet her liberal friends are doing the exact thing to us. (At least she had the guts to say what she actually thought. Still doesn't mean I have to like it.)
Finally, about the whole evolution and creationism in schools: it should either be both or none. Both "theories" teach how the world was created. It's unfair that "intelligent design" can't be taught while evolution can.
I'm just sick of it. This kind of thing has really been in my face lately, and I know it's just gonna get worse.
Sorry for cussing, I usually don't like to. Anyway, going away from this now. I think I got most of it out of my system. Hopefully, I didn't come off as stupid myself.
Time for a bit of good news before I go! I finally got my sister to start the Tsubasa manga and anime! YES! I've been wanting someone else to read this with me, and now it's finally happening! In fact, it was because she saw the first episode of the anime with me that she wants to read the manga now. She tried once before (I've been bugging her about it for a long time, trust me), but she didn't like the art. That is now all behind us though. YAY!!
Heh, I asked her what her favorite character is so far, of course. And she said Fai.
... Everyone loves Fai! I can't quite grasp why. I don't hate him, but... I want more Kuro-pu fans! *sobs*
Also, I don't think I will be able to get to many sites anytime soon. I thought I might be able to, but the computer is just... ugh. You know already. I shall try however!
Ta my monkies! I hope you have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukkah, or Kwanza (or whatever you celebrate). Good night!
~God Bless~ |
