The band isn't much better, but I lurve the people.
I'm hoping my section leader and the sax section leader are gay for each other... but they're probably just really good friends. REALLY good friends. That check out each other's ass.

Meeeh. I feel bad about not being on here a lot lately. I'm driving to, driving from, or at school from 7:00 to 5:30 which doesn't leave a lot of time to get homework and chores done, let alone time to get online. But I lurve my band so far, especially a french horn player (she's uber cool!) and the other clarinets (especially my section leader, he's funny and maybe gay [I wish])

My parents are out looking for a car that would be half mine, and I'm babysitting and trying to enjoy my 3 day weekend, and I want to go shopping. Cause I have like... no clothes. (That's a lie, I just want more.)

Surprise!
It's been a little while.
So. I quit band at the beginning of summer, and assumed I would never again know the joys and hardships of band until... the band director at my new school tracked me down a few days ago and semi-coerced me into joining!

I like it though. I had missed band. Unfortunately, the band here is less than half the size of my old one, and the people are really undisciplined. I like my section though, there are only 3 clarinets!

Yay! Almost the weekend!

Yay. We made s'mores in honors chemistry today. Mine caught on fire. It was crunchy, and it was good. I also made myself look like an idiot in front of my partner when trying to light the bunsen burner. Apparently, I missunderstood the whole "striking" thing and thought I was supposed to actually hit the bunsen burner with the flint. It turns out you don't. You don't hit it at all. Oops.

Busy, busy
Ah, live is hectic.
We fianlly got all our stuff out of storage.
There. is. so. much. crap.
I still have 6 or 7 boxes to go through. OMG.

Also making my life hectic is homework. Yes, I have had homework every night since school started. And lots of it. And that was just the first week of school! What's wrong with these people? Stupid over-achievers.

*can't think of anything else to complain about right now*

I did find lots of old pictures and notes from my best friend while I was unpacking. It was cool. They all said stuff like, "Cassie and Jo, best friends 4 eva!" and "Jo rocks! Cassie rocks harder!" and stuff. Yeah. We were corny kids.

I hate my school. Gah! I don't know how I'm going to make it through the next week, let alone the next two years.

To top that off, my parents are fighting. More than usual. Dad says he wants to move back to Wyoming, and I can either stay with mom or go with him. I don't think he'll really do it but it still scares me.

I AM happy about itunes. They finally got some of Utada hikaru's songs that are actually in Japanese! Yay. My new favourite is Blue.
I even found a site that sells Japanese itunes cards so you can get in the Japanese store and buy music they don't have in ze US!

I waaaant it.

JCCHS
Today was my first day of Catholic school.
And as soon as I walked in my class was lectured on the disadvantages of the internet and sites like myspace, and we were told to delete any myspace or facebook type sites we might have.
Oooooookay.

There were a couple people there I liked but as always, I was too shy to really have a conversation with anyone. Except for my school-tour-buddy. We talked about paint.

$467.50 for books, and I still have 4 or 5 to get.
Oh my!

I want to hit something.
Or someone...
I'm not picky.
Long story short?
My family is already beginning to gnaw on my sanity.
My senile Nana is just- Urghhh! She's driving me nuts! I can't even form a coherent sentence about her, I have to resort to animal grunts!

Because Nana decided to keep the master bedroom downstairs to herself (even though she's supposed to be moved out to the farm) my four person family has been squished into the teeny tiny rooms upstairs.
If I spread my arms out, I can almost touch both of the walls of my room. I want to paint over the nasty stained white walls with brown and pink, but she says it'll make the room look small.
That's cause the room IS small, Nana!
It's very, very small!

I feel better now.

Sweet Home Alabama
We're finally here, and I hate it. Oh ma gosh. I bought my uniform clothes today (over $200 for 4 shirts and 2 skirts!) and the skirts are made of the ugliest plaid material on God's green earth.
Barf.

I've pretty much been spending my spare time sulking and making my parents feel bad about coming here, which I know is wrong, but I just can't stop myself. I don't feel like drawing, or talking to what few friends I'm still in contact with, or playing music, or even eating. I just can't get myself to care. It's like I'm half of what I was before and that scares me.

Oookay, I'm done with my little pity party.

I hope y'all are enjoying the last few weeks of summer! Soak it all in... cause school's starting way too soon.

(And they make us buy our own school books!)

Yay! Wi-fi!
My mom wants on the internet to check ebay, so I don't really get to enjoy my sweet, lovely compy.
I'm in Missouri right now (we're going to Cape Girardeau [spelled wrong, I'm sure] to see my other grandparent) and in a few days I'll be back home!

We spent 3 days in Denver and it was awesome. We went downtown to a place called bd's Mongolian barbeque and it was awesome, then we walked through downtown, and it was awesome, and I even saw two guys get arrested on the side of the street! It was awesome.

So... I'm gonna try to visit sites now!
