Mmmmm...
I finally got around to looking at all my pics form Yellowstone, and I decided to put some up on deviantart! If you're interested you can go through the website link. It's not much, but it's my deviantpage.

We're heading back to Alabama on Monday, so I probably won't have any internet for awhile. Campsites without wi-fi suck. We're going through Denver again to see my aunt cause he ex is trying to get custody of her son and she's a mess. That means we're not getting home untill August 2nd, and school starts on th 10th. That makes me nervous.

Things aren't going well, and it's all the worse because I feel like I don't have anyone to talk to. My old friends and I only talk once every week or two, and I don't know anyone else. I usually like being alone but this is stressful.

But at least I have a driver's license!

And just so you know, the only internet I have is on the lappy right now, and it won't let me see or write any comments. That's why I'm saying in my post that Wave the dolpin is plushy cuteness incarnate rather than leaving a comment about him. Okay?

Well, we found out yesterday that my nana's boyfriend has prostate cancer. It's shocking cause it seems like this came out of nowhere. I mean, he's not the world's healthiest guy but I never would have thought he'd get cancer.

Just one more sucky thing for the poor guy to deal with.

We're going to Cody today to see the Buffalo Bill museum today. I love that place, so hopefully it'll make me feel better.

Ches!
I got my license! Yes! I'm official now!

All I need is a vehicle. Technically I already have one, but it's older than I am, has white spraypaint over the rusty spots, and one darn funky smell.

My license is so awesome and shiny and important looking. I just keep staring at its laminated, holographic surface and almost salivating.
I need a better wallet to display it in. And a better purse for my wallet. And an outfit to match the purse. And then a car to go with said outfit! See? It all comes full circle. Kinda.

Bleh.
It's been awhile, huh?
We spent four days in Yellowstone and we just got back from a trip to the Big Horns.
It. Was. Awesome.
I saw moose (even a bull!), bison, deer, marmots, antelope, mountain goats, a coyote, and cows.

And while we were stoped at a waterfall, this giant cockroach-like thing hit me in the face and then crawled onto my neck, and I started screaming and brushed it away but it wrapped itself around my finger so I flung it on the ground and was freaking out, and all these other people were just staring at me.
I was like, "Did you freaking see that?!" and they were all like, 'We should just turn away and keep silent, that way we won't provoke her". Of course, most of them were Japanese tourists and I think they thought I was just insane, so I can't really blame them.
Twas embarrassing.

I hope everyone is doing okay, and I'm about to visit peoples' sites. Wooohoooo!

Yellowstone, ahoy!
Sooo... tomorrow we're going to Yellowstone and we're camping out up there. And by camping I mean renting a cabin at Antler Lodge. Sweet. I hope to see more mooses! (I've seen 4 so far.)

Also, I bought a bible to prepare myself for Catholic school. Unfortunately, I bought the English standard version, which is not the approved form of bible at my new school. Or something. And I find the bible to be quite confusing, so I'm buying a bunch of books on Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shinto, and Judaism to see if any of them make more sense. That worries my God-fearing grandmother.

I also got to visit my uncle Nik (who is not really my uncle, but rather my uncle's life partner) and he looked through my sketchbook and he pretty much thought they all sucked. That made me sad, cause I really wanted him to be proud of me. He gave me tons of art books afterwards, but I really don't feel like doing any more art right now.

Happeh 4th of July! I hope none of you get blown up! Or lose any fingers, that would be tragic.

Also, I just tried to leave someone a comment and it wouldn't let me, so apparently the computer's... doing something... wrong. I guess. I dunno. It just won't work for me.

I wish I was in Japan...
My cousin just got back from her trip to Japan and I am soooo jealous! She got a katana and yen and miso and everything! I am burning with envy right now.
Ah, I want to go so badly, and she says she knows I'd love it (duh, I already knew I'd love it) so I'm thinking either we can coordinate a trip together or I'll wait until college and find someone else as interested as I am to drag with me.

No going to foriegn countires alone, that's my mom's rule.

I drove again today. It was not good.

Yes!
I. Got. My. Permit. (And on the first try!)
Sooo happy!
Of course, it's a Wyoming permit, and I had to tell a liiittle white lie about being a Wyoming citizen to apply for it. But I finally got it!

My dad also started an impromptu driving lesson while in the mountains next to the resevoir/lake. A sheer cliff on one side and a large body of water on the other. I said, "Dad, this may not be the best place for my first time behind the wheel." Did he listen? No.
My lesson ended with my mom grabbing the wheel from me and my dad yelling for me to put on the brakes. Then my mom had to go to the bathroom cause I scared the crap out of her, quite literally.

How did I know this kind of thing would happen?

Yikes
My aunt had a massive stroke the other day. She had to be helicoptered to Billings and everything! She couldn't speak, move or even swallow and the doctor said she would probably never get any better. But he was quite worng (surprise, surprise) and my aunt has started talking (very slurred) and can even stand for a few seconds. It's a big thing. We're supposed to go see her tomorrow and I'm actually kind of scared to. It freaks me out, you know? We talked to her at 10 PM on Monday and Tuesday morning she was headed to the hospital. Scary.

Also, I have come to terms with the fact that I am a raging shopaholic. When I'm sad, I buy things to make myself happy. Lots of things. And I'm starting to feel bad about it.
... I spent over $50 on incense and a brass Ganesha statue today. And I have a wishlist over 40 items long at Hot Topic, and I can rack up over $20 in makeup at Wal-Mart in seconds. Also scary.

Speaking of, I bought a really nice thing of lipgloss today only to take it home and discover someone had already opened and used it. Ew. What a waste.

So... sleepy...
Wow. I think this was the longest time I
I'd ever gone without updating...
I'm gonna try and visit everybody's sites, just as soon as I get more time on the compy. Unfortunately, I won't be able to leave any comments (unless the computer decides to let me... damn not-working computer.) I've kind of overtaken my grandma's computer for the time being.

OMG. I've seen like... 30 antelope and 20 deer in the last few days. There's mountains, and itty bitty little towns (some have just 50 people!), and even hail! But hail is scary, we don't like hail, no.

We went to visit my uncles in Montana yesterday and I got tons of paints and canvas from my great grandmother's collection. She set them aside for me in her will, and I feel kinda special for that.

^My uncle illustrated that book, and he gave me a signed copy! OMG. It's sweet. He's good.

Heppeh Father's Day soon! I got my dad a Mythbuster's book. Cause the Mythbusters rock.

Ah... no computer at all in days! Our last place didn't have wi-fi... I think I'm going through internet withdrawl.

Of course, I spent the last few days with my cousins so all was well. We went to see X-Men on Friday and it was wonderful! And Hugh Jackman was lookin goooood... I need to see it again.
We also went shopping and committed various acts of teenage delinquency. My cousins are a bad influence on me... I love them so much!

And now we're in Kansas, and it stinks, and we're right by a slaughterhouse, but there are adorable prarie dogs across the street, so it's kind of worth it. Prarie dogs rock.

Everyone that's not in school; have a fantastic and well deserved break! I pity the poor souls still stuck in class... coughcoughzeitcough.
