Another terrible day...
I'm reading Death Be Not Proud, and so far it's been a real experience. I got halfway through without even realizing I'd read that much. I found a prayer in it called An Unbeliever's Prayer, the author's son wrote it after finding out he had a brain tumor. It's sad stuff. I don't know why I read these kinds of things, they only make me depressed.

And today was wet and cold. So very, very cold.
Whew. At least I made it through Hump Day.

Testing!
I took part one of the GEE today. I think taketheNextExit is taking all the same crap.

And we're watching Outbreak in bio this week. That movie is what made me the monkey-fearing, virus-paranoid freak that I am today. And I have to watch it again. Great.

On happy news, I finally got the first volume of Death Note! I'd heard it was really good and I wasn't disappointed. I feel a new obsession coming on...

w00t!
Report cards tomorrow. Yeah.
I was sick all last night, it was terrible. I think it was the Pappa John's I ate. But I'm all better now, no more puking!

And I got invited to a surprise party for a girl in band, but I'm not sure if I'll even be able to go... my dad's pretty mad at me. Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for a "Yes, you can go".

TGIF! Tomorrow! And it'll be St. Pat's day!

Crazy!
We watched a video about CJD in adv biology on Friday (it was gross and sad) and today we read about a new case of mad cow in Alabama. Yeeeaaah. Never have I been so happy to not eat beef.

And even though I'm drowning in school, I got to go over to my friend's house and watch Harold and Kumar go to White Castle! I love it, and now I wish there was a White Castle here. I don't think they even exist in this state...

Mondays suck.
I'm really behind in band...
That sucks. But between fixing up the house and doing homework/studying for tests next week, I'm just all out of time. I don't know. Our BD wants us to practice for festival, do solos and perform in at least one ensemble, and he wants us to be able to do them all right now. I have to be in set at 6:45 AM tomorrow for sectionals. I'm just sick of band, I'm sick of all time it takes, I'm sick of feeling inadequate every class, and I'm sick of shoving aside other classes to make time for it.
*huff puff*

That was a long rant.

So tired...
My compy was unplugged all of yesterday and most of today, so were the TV and VCR. (We're painting/remodeling the house.) Isn't it weird how you never realize how much you use something till it's gone? Like after the hurricane when we had no power, life was very boring. And very hot... and very, very awkward if you had to use the bathroom after the sun went down.

Another yay for Ringo!
Let's all pray that his paint doesn't get eaten off by dead love bugs. Unless you don't have to deal with those up there...

Ah, Thursday...
It's terribly windy outside, the palms are almost blown sideways and our pool is like a mini ocean.

And I got presents! From my friends at school I got a box of chocolate, some puppy stickers and a card.
My parents gave me the Harry Potter 4 DVD, $30 for iTunes and a set of Tinkerbell playing cards.

All in all a good day, I'd say. Plus I'm staying home! That's good cause I had a socially awkward moment with the guy that sits next to me in geometry yesterday. I really don't want to go back at all, they're going to make fun of me and I'm going to cry because I'm too sensitive...
