I'm happy.
Yup. And I'm watching the latest Adult Swim episode of FMA. I love Lust! Female anime chars usually annoy me, but she's the best! Just thought I'd put it out there. I also love Gin Rummy from Boondocks. Seriously. My stomach finally stopped hurting, and I don't feel like throwing up when I look at food anymore, and I'm not at school! I love all that too.

Ah, so much to love! I'm in a good mood.

Nyeh.
My parents got hit by a drunk driver. Well, not really hit, he just skidded along side them. The whole driver's side of the our truck is messed up. Sigh, why do people do stupid things like that?

I went shopping this weekend, and I got lotsa stuff! Clothes from Aeropostale and Old Navy, nailpolish and art stuff from Wal-Mart. I even got Saiyuki and Yami no Matsuei books at Books-A-Million. And I'm watching Zoolander! The funniest movie evar.

Yay!
My email has been flooded (only lightly) by colleges! Washington, Rhodes, St. John's, Tulane, Kettering, TCU, all kinds of stuff. I'm happy.
I guess the pre-ACT test people sent our results all over the place...

Yay for less sucking!
Today was nice. I made good grades on tests, laughed many times, and now I'm eating ramen! (The shrimp kind. My favourite!)

I had to go to an honor society thing this evening, and I went into it thinking it was stupid, pointless and and utter waste (heh, utter) of time. And it was. But I did have some fun and I didn't embarrass myself. Joy!

I don't know what to do with myself. Going to school makes me sad and coming home makes me depressed. I don't know if it's just my wacky teenage girl hormones or what but one minute I'll be fine and the next I want to lay down and cry and not ever get up. And I have to go to some bullcrap honor society certificate giving thingy tomorrow.

... I should take kick boxing or something. Tae-bo. Yoga. Pilates. Shark punching. Anything. I want to vent, preferably by hitting things.

Super bowl!
Ches. I just finished my English homework (writing a new ending for the book Of Mice and Men) and I'm midly happy with it. And as usual, I sliiightly went overboard. (The assignment said 250-300 words, I did 919...)

And today I go shopping! Well, hypothetically...
But my mom promised to take me to Aeropostale, American Eagle and Old Navy for clothes, Peir 1 to look at bookshelves, J.C. Penney for bedspreads, and Books-A-Million for books... duh.

And did I ever say how I got Only the Ring Finger knows? It's a yaoi manga. That I bought. That my dad found... and even if it isn't graphic, it doesn't take much gayness to make my Wyoming-born, Coast Guard, republican, traditional dad all uncomfortable. So... I don't know what he saw or read but he's been giving me lots of odd looks. And I'd rather not bring it up...

Nyeh.
I got invited to apply to the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches! And as much as I'd like to go, I don't think I could handle being three states away from my parents. But they've got some great classes! German, Russian, paleontology, organic chemistry, orchestra... And since they're right by Northwestern students there have access to all the college facilities.
*sigh*

And today is my 3 year anniversary of being vegetarian!

Some people...
We watched Lorenzo's Oil in advanced bio today (we're studying sex-linked diseases) and it's really, really sad. If you don't know, Lorenzo's Oil is based on a real boy with ALD and his parents' efforts to find a cure/therapy for a little known disease. Throughout the movie you see this incredibly smart six year old boy as he loses the ability to speak and walk as his brain is liquified by the disease, and you see his parents struggling with the pain he's in and the knowledge that ALD sufferers die within two years of diagnosis... and people in my class were laughing. I swear, some people need to either grow up or learn some compassion.

Yeah. So that's my rant today.

Also, as I was practicing today in band class I cut my tongue on my reed. I kept on playing. When I stopped and looked at it, the reed had my blood on it and it was dripping down into my clarinet. Said reed is now stained pink. How sick is that?
