Christmas, yay!
And forgive any typing errors, I just cut my finger while cutting potatoes, and it's hitting two keys every time.

First, I hope your day's been great! Mine has!
I got a GBA SP, a pink scarf and matching mittens, 3 pairs of socks, nailpolish, a sketchpad, a $15 iTunes giftcard, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants DVD, a quesadilla maker, and a large bag of mixed nuts. Yes, that was a present. Mixed nuts.

I hope you're all happy with what you got, and I hope you can all veg out and watch Christmas specials or UFO specials or whatever you do. Just be happy!

And for some reason, both of the Wal-Marts and the one Target my parents went to were either out of Kingdom Hearts: COM or didn't stock it at all. Weird? Yes. Conspiracy? Probably.

Crutches suck.
Happy Festivus!

I just finished watching the new live action Peter Pan movie... it was so good! I cried when Tinkerbell died, then again at the end... but I cry a lot so that's no surprise. Gosh, I really want that movie now, I hope I get it for Christmas.

I wish I knew how to work my digital camera, I could upload a pic of my post-op ankle! But I'm still technologically retarded, darn. I nearly slipped while I was using my crutches yesterday, and my pain took a backseat to the lecture mom gave me. I'm halfway doing the splits and gasping in pain and my mom is behind me going, "Cassie! Oh my God, are you hurt? You're doing the follow through, the doctor said not to do that! What's your problem?" At this point, I'm still gasping in pain. "You can't do that until he says you can do it, you need to take smaller steps! Don't go through the crutches, just come up to them. We paid good money for that surgery, and if you tear those stitches..." By now I've gotten up (still gasping) and hobbled off. Clearly, crutches were made for people with much more coordination than I have. Humph.

And if you've read this far, you have a great deal of patience. Or boredom. Or both.

iTunes
Listening to 30 Kft- Assemblage 23...

Currently making backup CDs for all my purchased iTunes songs, and it's taking freaking _forever_. Blah. I also finally heard Passion (or is it Passions?) for KH2! I still love Simple and Clean more but I must say, that is a super close second. Gah, I want it so bad!

The Tron level looks really cool too... I can't wait, I honestly can't.

   Nightmares suck.
I went almost two months with no bad dreams and then I had the freakin mother of all things gorey and creeptastic. I'd had this same nightmare before but this time it was longer and filled with more stabbing and blood. A guy in a wheelchair with knives on his fingers tried to kill me, this monster kept stabbing some lady over and over until she was more hole-y than human, and more than one person was horribly decapitated... I'm a nice, quiet person. I avoid scary movies and video games. How on earth could I dream up something so twisted?

Mah art.
You were warned.

Since my scanner is still MIA, I'm gonna try and work with the pics I'd already had on the compy.(And I can't make them bigger so if you can't even see the pictures... well, you have been spared.)

I hate, hate, hate the background of this one. I've been kicking myself for it for what, the last year?

This is old as well. But I mean reeeaal old, like 'what's-that-stuff-in-the-back-of-the-fridge?' old.
I still haven't finished it.

My cousin asked my to draw him Master Cheif (i before e?). Four months ago. This is as far as I got, and probably as far as I'll ever get. I'm a bad person.

   Neither here nor there!
I finally got the Demon Days CD today. I mean, I love the Gorillaz and I'd already bought the songs from iTunes, but there's just something about actually owning the CD, you know? Having the art and the lyrics and the actual disc... very shweet.

And since I'm feeling so gosh darn nostalgic, I shall leave you with this tidbit from my childhood. I'm on the left. You know, Tinkerbell. (On the right is Justin, my then-best friend.)

Today
Today was good. I went to Books-A-Million, got some hot cocoa, and bought a few magazines. And I had biscuits for dinner! Nothing on them, just plain, yummy biscuits. I like biscuits. And I'm nearly finished with my 6 page report on Nobuo Uematsu. Honestly, I love the man, I really do, but six pages? Ugh.
