It's Axel-ent!
So... I love Axel, right? From KH2? You know that. (He's totally gay for Roxas!!1!11!1one)
And I saw an Axel plushie on EBAY that I really, really want. But my mom says I can't have it cause spending $20 on a plushie is a waste. D:
Like, whatever. Moms be crazy.

Anyhoo, two of my friends made me the most AWESOME presents evar. One drew me a picture of Axel wearing our school's uniform (XD) and the other did a photoshop thingy of all kinds of Axel pics with corny sayings like "You light my fire" and "Burn baby, burn! Disco inferno!"
Hilarious. I love them. XD
They're like my crack-friends, supporting me and my unhealthy addiction.

And OMG. I'm totally pissed about my band schedule this year. >:O
At my old school, we had band camp for six hours a day for three days. We worked our asses off and got the shit done. FAST.
Here I have to go for like two WEEKS, from 8-12.
If the stupid drummers and trumpet players would stop being so slow and idiotic, we could get done faster. Their incessant bitching and moaning makes me want to rip their tongues out. :D
Seriously, I'm /this/ close to giving someone a very stabbity death with my clarinet.
I'm on the edge, people.

In happy news, I'm going to be clarinet section leader! Go me! (Not that there are any other options, since I'm the only senior/decent player. :D)
I SHALL RULE MY SECTION WITH AN IRON FIST!!!

The Way I Are
That song has been stuck in my head for the last two days. O_O
Seriously.
All the time.
Timbaland ish sexeh. And he's from Norfolk, Virgina! I used to live there. Whoo.

The math scores on my SAT sucked, so now I have to take the damn thing AGAIN.
Ohhhhhhh, I hate standardized testing with a passion! What sicko came up with that?

And I made the mistake of giving my cell number out to some guy I met at the concert on Sunday. (I didn't want to say no and make him feel bad, and now I'm kicking myself.)
EVERY time I go to check my phone I have voicemails from him. And I already texted and said that I really wasn't interested. But he keeps calling!
And I don't want to have to change my number...
Hopefully he'll give up and stop soon.
But if not, I'll have to carry my phone around with me so I can answer it when he calls and cuss him out. That'll show him! I hope.

And I bought me some sushi! Yesssss!
And my mom got me some kind of weird seaweed salad... I'll probably eat it just to make her happy, since it was like $6.

Ever feel like crawling under a rock?
So, we were going through boxes in the shelter today, when one of the girl's found a plastic toy scorpion. She reached in to get it and, lo and behold, it was REAL. And alive.
It was only two inches long, but it scared the hell out of us. I'm pretty sure we all looked like crackheads to everyone outside of the room, cause we were running around and trying to kick the thing. Then an old man came and took it outside. Phew.

Now for random things, as I was going through my old school books and found lots of doodles.
Why I made a C on my precal final:

And this, a random doodle I did a few days ago. All the stuff that's been on Nickeh's (AKA, Anorexic Sumo) site lately inspired me. Which may or may not be a good thing.

THE UBER POST!
But don't worry, it's mostly pictures.
I'm sorry about not really getting to sites lately. I've been busy! Like a bee!

"Gee Cassie, what have you been doing lately that's keeping you busy?" you may ask. I was volunteering at the animal shelter! A dog peed on my leg on Friday, and my love was adopted on Saturday. :(

AND I WENT TO CITY STAGES ON SUNDAY!
I saw Puddle of Mudd, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace. Oh. My. GOD. It was awesome! SO freaking awesome! I stepped in vomit toward the end of the show, and it was super hot (so the entire crowd smelled like BO), and so many people were smoking (including my friends) that I got a headache. Two crowd surfers fell on top of me (and one of my friends had to go to the ER cause of it. Le sad), and this INCREDIBLY drunk guy kept offering me his cigar. (He was sooo drunk! Halfway through the show he stopped singing and was like "Where am I? Where the hell am I?") But it was so worth it. SO worth it.

Three Days Grace! OMG yay.


One of the few pictures that actually came out in focus. Cause my camera is crap. It's Three Days Grace + some crazy crowd people and a surfer.

So all in all, it was great. And I'm pretty sure no one died at City Stages this year. Yay! We broke the curse!
And it was SO hot. I've never sweated so much in my life! But lots of guys were shirtless. X3
And they were sweaty too. Which was kinda gross, but a little hot.

With each show, we got closer and closer to the stage. By the last band (Three Days Grace, and my personal favourite) we were /this/ fucking close to the stage. /This/ close. And then Chris decides she needs water. So we have to go aaaall the way to the back to get water. I was pissed as hell.

And then we got stuck next to the mosh pit, which was out of control.

But I still had fun! I be looking forward to next year.

And I hope everyone is doing okay out there in the internets. Specially Britty and Mattie. You guys rock, and don't forget it.

Wheeee! I don't say this enough, but I love the people on here. I know that's lame, but I do. I look forward to reading comments on my site and checking out everyone else's sites. Which I'm off to do.

he's an Australian Shepherd/St. Bernard Mix
he's two months old
he's HUGE for a puppy
and he's the fuzziest, sweetest, cutest puppeh on earth.
And I WANT him sooooo bad! I hold him like he's a giant baby, and he puts his paws around my neck and licks my face.
I love Hector.
But I can't have him. ;_;

Um. Sadly, that's the biggest news I have.

Woooooo! Puppy power! They make me happy and not-sad!

Nasteh.
I was just eating a slice of pizza (the veggie supreme from Papa John's, my favourite) and I bit into a big chunk of ham or something. It. Was. Disgusting. And then everyone in the room looked at me funny because I was spitting and coughing.

Now I remember why I stopped eating meat.

And my first day at the shelter was AWESOME. I loved it. I had to bathe all these puppies, and they had just rolled around in their own piss, and it was stinky and gross but they were STILL so cute! And then I played with cats, and I went with a friend while she walked a dog, and then I cleaned stuff...

It was great! Fantastic!

Plus, So You Think You Can Dance AND Top Chef are coming on tonight! I plan on sitting back with a bowl of cereal and enjoying the reality-TV-ness.

Tomorrow, Tomorrow
So... tomorrow I start my volunteer thingy for reallz.
I be excited. ^_^
But nervous too. I'm scared I'll do something wrong and hurt a puppy or something horrible like that.

And I finally got my friend to answer a text and we're talking again. That makes me happy, cause I hate being in conflict with the people I know.
But I is going to make sure that things are different between us now; no more getting walked on, no more feeling bad cause I'm not like her.

Um... I should go to sleep soon.
Really.
My sleep schedule has been totally out of whack since school ended. I go to sleep at 2 AM and wake up at 11. Ish bad.

I am oriented now.
Orientation was meh.
But so many cute puppehs and kittehs!
My job at the shelter is going to be very icky and involve lots of poo cleaning, but it is worth it to play with those adorable little puppies all day.

Also, one of my friends (the same one that invited me to go to the mountains that I turned down) is mad at me now. I wanted to invite her to come to City Stages with us, but she won't answer my calls or my texts. (Though she has been sending me tons of chain letter things.)
I'm like, "Get over it! This is THREE DAYS GRACE we're talking about! And Breaking Benjamin! You HAVE to come!"

But she ain't answering.

Meh.

I'm tired of trying to be different and "cool" for her. I'm tired of pretending to be jaded and hip and slutty just so I fit into her idea of how I should act.

Emo!
So... I was looking at the google ads at the top of my page again.
One said "Oh no-- I'm emo!" and the other one said "Are you gay? Take the quiz!"
I'm wondering if it's just random or if my something on my site gives the impression that I'm emo and gay.
Like Zexion.
Zexy!
Poor emo kid.

And I was /supposed/ to go to an orientation meeting at the animal shelter this Saturday to get started on my service hours, but the lady I'm supposed to call to schedule it with will NOT answer her phone.
Seriously, I tried calling like five different times, and she was never there.

So now I'm worried that I'll miss orientation, and I'll have to wait another two weeks for the next one.
And if I don't complete all 60 hours before August, I can't go back to school.

Damn.
