And this Thursday I leave for my band trip to Orlando! Four entire days. FOUR. Shweet.

We had student council speeches and elections on Friday. I got a shout out! One of the candidates for secretary was thanking people, and she said my name! Twas awesome. I did this whole, "w0000t!" thing.

The candidate people were very entertaining. It was like a concert! They'd dance, and sing, and have the whole auditorium stand and dance and clap and stuff. Fun.

School almost be out!!!

Am I scary? Do I scare y'all?
I'm wondering now.

Also: best. guest. speaker. ever. today.
We had a speaker from the safehouse come into our theology classes to talk about abusive relationships.
That sounds depressing, I know, but it WAS AWESOME!

The guy was hilarious. He said the funniest stuff, but never smiled. (He smiled once, actually.) It won't sound funny when I write it, but his attitude and persona made it hilarious.
I cried, I was laughing so hard.

Student: "Oh my God! You just smiled!"
Speaker Guy: "No, that's actually just a facial tic, and I would prefer if you don't mention it again. Makes me self-conscious."

*writing on chalkboard unsuccessfully*
"Chalk-resistant chalkboards. A phenomenon I have only encountered at this school. Alright, we're all just going to pretend that you can read the list I just wrote on the board."

There's a Chevelle concert in town tonight.
But I can't go, and that makes me sad.

Tomorrow is our prom assembly. It's when they tell everyone who's going to prom not to drink or do drugs.
Stuuuuuupid...
I plan on sleeping through it.

So. Prom is in like... a week or two.
But no one (including me) is going to go, because the theme is A Night in BIRMINGHAM.
Birmingham, people.

Our teacher in charge of prom decided that Paris and Italy were too cliche, so our prom is Birmingham themed.

WE ALREADY LIVE IN FREAKING BIRMINGHAM!
And it be nasty!
Why do we want to have a Birmingham prom when we're ALREADY in Birmingham. I see it every day!

So that was my daily rant.
Now go plant a tree!

We had a lockdown today.
It was scary, and people kept talking and laughing, and our teacher was angry and freaking out and started yelling about pushing people into the hallways... and then they stopped laughing.

A high school just down the road from us got a threat, so our principal decided we needed to go into lockdown too.

So that was MY day. How was yours!? Huh? Huh?

I really need to go to sleep soon. My eye keeps twitching from lack of sleep.

School be almost ova!

VA Tech. Dude.

So other than that... my mom and I got into a huge fight. She kept poking me, and I thought she was just joking, but she kept doing it harder, and then she flicked a bunch of coffee on me, so I stuck my fingers in the cup and wiped some on her, and we were both yelling. Then my sister started throwing her toys at my mom and screaming for her to stop, and my mom said, "Look at what you made Tessa do!" and picked up one of the toys and threw it at me. Hard.

It hurt. It was the first time I've ever been scared that my mom would hurt me. It was scary, and I feel worse because I don't have any friends here-- not the kind that I can cry over the phone to, anyway.

So on that unhappy note, I have to go do homeworks.

I'm going to try to look at sites, but if my parents get back soon I'll have to go retreat into my room.
