Santiago. 21. 6' 4" http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_luli6z5Fgx1r4y18no1_500.jpg senior in college, double majoring in biochemical engineering and theoretical physics. hes also QB1, and captain of the football team. everyone knows santiago. hes not loud and obnoxious, and hes not this man on campus party guy, he doesnt get around, he doesnt get wasted, hes just really well known. everyone likes him, everyone wants to chill with him. but its mostly cause hes just a genuinely nice guy. hes really smart, and really hardworking, and hes kinda the best thing this team has seen in years, but its not like it got to his head or anything. hes still really modest. He gets the guys motivated, and they respect him, so it works out. He'll work you though, he doesnt tolerate laziness. hes not a nazi, hes not gonna wake you up at the crack of dawn, and work you all day, and then send you to school, and then work you all night. no. he recognizes that athletes cannot perform to their highest potential without rest. which is why no one on the team is allowed to go out and party or anything the night before the game. theres no real curfew, no ones gonna go check up on you, but its just kinda known. the guys dont. they party after the game. XD hes not like the team mommy, he goes out and has fun and parties and drinks too. he can do it legally though so :P XD he wont buy you alcohol though, none of the guys even bother asking anymore, its not gonna happen. hes from LA, hes dominican, and hes from one of those communities that are alllllll one race? so pretty much everyone he knows back home is dominican, and the occasional black kid, cause hes not from a nice part of town. He grew up dirt poor, but he played football for his highschool team. it kept him off the streets, and he liked it, so his parents supported it. and he got to be really good by his junior year. so good in fact that he was attracted espn news reporters. so yeah, he ended up being his graduating class' number one recruit in america. and he chose to go to pennsylvania. and his parents were nooot happy about that. XD but yeah. he flies out anytime he can to see them, but its not often. so he skypes alot. he has an off campus apartment, cause hes a senior, but hes pretty much always on campus, doing something with the athletics department. or hes in the lab, cause he does need lab hours for his majors. hes not like a sweetheart? he doesnt give off that appearance. hes more of the big brother type, smirks, doesnt smile, will push you to be better because he knows you can do it, type. hes the guy everyone goes to with their problems, because he usually knows what to do. but no one really knows whats going on in his head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOshf_FeG6c he doesnt have any piercings, but hes got quite a few tattoos. pretty much all of them are in spanish, but theres pictures too. hes got a really intricate one, on his chest that extends up his shoulder, and onto his back. its stuff mixed together, but the virgin mary's in it, rosary beads, and a child's face, a little girl, but none of it is very clear, if you looked at it from far away or not long enough, it would just look like this really amazing intricate tattoo. it'd take a while to like, piece everything out. he spoke spanish primarily, growing up, so hes got an hispanic accent, but its not obnoxious. its like urban hispanic, its more obvious hes from the city than it is that hes hispanic, in his voice.

Which is why this sucks so bad, because if he hadnt been chosen this time, he would have been out of the running for the tribute and wouldnt have had to worry about it. Hes from District 2, Spectra. and hes an archer. Theyre not really trained, or anything, but you learn to protect yourselves. and he got his hands on a bow and some arrows when he was like 13, and thats what hes been doing since. His district is surrounded by really thick woods, so he pretty much has practiced in there for the past five years. He wasnt a loner? he just didnt intend to make friends here. He knew that he'd watch people leave, and die, every year. There was no point for him to make connections like that. He was just really smart about it, if you think about it. So he got a bit of a reputation for being cold and uncaring. He does have a couple friends though, that wiggled their way into his life despite his fighting it. Theyre the only ones that call him Angel, everyone else calls him Angeles. Hes actually really set on surviving this. When he was taken from his mom when he was 12 to go live in the childrens camps, he promised her he'd come back to her, and hes kinda not about to break that. hes really not here trying to make friends, or find love, like alot the kids do. hes here to survive, so he can go back home. thats really all he cares about atm. He's not impossible to reach, he does talk to people, hes not a hermit. and he doesnt have trust issues. honestly you should be more worried about him betraying you, than he is of you betraying him. XD he can speak french, which is pretty much a dead language now, because his mother can, and she learned it from her mother, and it went way back to when countries and languages still existed. obviously if people found out he could, they would not be happy, so he doesnt speak it, to anyone. If he speaks to you in french, ever, it means he really trusts you. hinthint. he always wears a cross around his neck, like the old catholic ones, even though catholicism also ceases to exist. its a family heirloom, and no one ever sees it, cause he wears it under his shirt, all the time. if someone were to see it, it'd also be bad, so if he ever lets you see that, he also trusts you alot. XD hes got a tattoo on the base of his neck, its his district symbol, the symbol for strength. they get them right after turning 19 cause most times, if you reach that point, youre good, and you can expect to go home in a year. but yeah. didnt work out like that for Angel. no piercings though.

Crew. 18. 6' 3" hes pretty skinny, but hes not like...tiny. hes just not like, beefy. dark brown hair, brown eyes. hes pretty serious. but only because hes got alot of responsibility and he has, for longer than 2 years. Even before he ran away with Tommy, he was taking care of him, cause their parents are like...shit. obvs. hes a dancer, like, street dancing, hip hop, krumping, breakdancing, type of shit. and he'll dance in subway terminals just to get enough money to make sure Tommy eats at least once a day. but on bad days, hes got a job, which is honestly...not that good. Crews a really good brother. Like, Tommy is his world, and he'd do absolutely anything for him, and he does. Hes done alot in the past two years to keep Tommy safe, and its sorta hardened him a bit? Not enough that hes like, this scary dude. he just doesnt trust easily, and hes seen alot of shit. Hes tried to shelter Tommy from it as much as he could, but its hard. He knows when Tommy can take care of himself. Hes not like, treating him like hes gonna break, he'd just rather deal with the issue than have Tommy worry about it. Crew's an escort? like, hes not a prostitute. hes not a stripper. But stripping or having sex is sometimes a part of the job. its a lot safer than stripping or selling himself, though, but he makes a lot more, so thats why he does it. Honestly, if he did it alot? he'd be able to make enough money to get them off the streets, but he cant bring himself to stoop to that level. His boss knows that, and honestly, shes a really nice woman, she cares alot about crew. she'll give him a job if he says he needs one, but she doesnt push him to do anything. He really only does it when they havent had food for like, three days, and the shelters are full, and hes pretty desperate. or if tommy gets sick. Tommy doesnt know about the job, and Crew's keeping it that way. If Tommy ever asks where money is coming from, Crew just tells him not to worry about it, and thats the end of the discussion, period. Crew doesnt have friends, really. Hes not in school, and neither is Tommy. But he brings Tommy to the public library and makes him read books, so hes not like..stupid. XD but yeah. theyre not in school, and most of the day, Crew is working. Hes not the most amazing fantastic football player ever, but hes fast a fuck, and hes got sticky hands, he can catch a bullet. His dad is hard on him, like, harder than any of the other players, you can see it. But it never seems to bother Timmy. Hes really hardworking, and strong. Hes not like, bulked up like Lt, because hes a runner, but its allll muscle, cause hes country strong. hes sweet, like hes the type of guy you'd bring home to your parents. not girly, though, hes def a guy. quiet, he comes off shy, but anyone would next to Lt. but hes not. hes just alot more reserved. No one really knows what Timmy is, like gay or straight? obvs everyone assumes hes straight, but theres no real evidence, cause hes never dated anyone, and as far as yall know, hes never even kissed anyone. XD it just was never something he showed interest in/had time for. He drives a pickup truck, and he'll give anyone a ride who needs one. Most of the time thats Lt, because Lt buses everywhere and Timmy doesnt like that. XD no tattoos, no piercings.

And they'd take him to the nice playgrounds, and their friends were all pretty well off, which is how Luke and Timmy and your nonmain met. Football is pretty much his life, and hes been playing since he could walk. hes captain, and hes a good one. He makes sure every guy busts their ass, and people respect him, cause he doesnt take any shit from anyone. Football is his ticket out the projects, and into a good college, cause his parents cant afford that type of tuition, so yeah, its understatement important to him. Hes pretty chill for the most part, though. Lady's man, hes basically a big flirt. hes dated a few times, but nothing serious, if you ask him, girls are too crazy to be around for long periods of time. he went to nike camp during the summer, and hes just getting back. and if you thought he was good before, hes phenomenal now. He doesnt have any like, sort of temper. If anything, he keeps his cool under all circumstances. In games and at practices, he'll yell commands, and hes got a really assertive voice, but theres rarely any frustration in it. Most people dont know much about Luke's homelife, but yall know his parents. Theyre really good, hardworking people and they expect the same from Lt. If you just met his parents and him, you'd never know how much theyre struggling, financially. They keep their shit together. Lt doesnt talk about it, so none of yall even know, but yeah, theyre struggling. Hes got a tattoo on his side, that says "every day of my life." and one of the base of his neck that says, really small, "...so i may be reasonably happy in this life." Lt and his family are pretty religious, he wears a cross that he only takes off when hes playing football. he never holds practice on sundays, for that reason, but he kinda expects yall to go running or something, anyways.

His eyes obviously go white when he's using his power, which is more or less weather but its generates the whole storm when he gets peeved enough. Artemis is skinny, but in the muscled way, not liek skin and bones. Like he'll be skinnier than you, but not anywhere near puny. You guys know him by Jericho, which is his resistance name. Most of the time if he's seen, he's seen alone, and most soldiers have direct orders not to engage Jericho at all. XD His voice echos when he's using his power, it like...booms. Not that soldiers get scared and run but tornados and floods and natural disasters usually just destroy everyones capability XD He's gonna get played like he's heartless and he's fighting the guard for kicks? Devlin. 17. http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq3njev9r71qbdx2po1_400.jpg http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lu0k8t0Vh61qg0wyzo1_500.jpg ash brown hair, greenish blue eyes. 5' 10" and pretty thin, like, he didnt get much to eat as a kid, thin. obviously Devlin's a foster kid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9caA1QkWj4&feature=related he actually hasnt been a foster kid his whole life. he was taken away from his mom when he was 12, because the teachers at his school finally noticed all the signs. shes in prison now for child abuse and neglect. hes been in fostercare ever since then, and honestly, its not much better. the only difference is that now Devlin feels no obligation to stay, so generally he'll stay with a placement for a couple weeks, and then he'll just disappear. the cops will pick him up a couple weeks later, maybe a month, and send him back to the system. hes been in a rehabilitation system twice, once for cocaine, because his mom had him addicted to it when they took him away from her, and once for meth, because he got on that when he was around 14. his record has everything in it? so before he even gets there youre gonna know he has a drug possession charge, two seperate years in drug rehabiliation, a prostitution charge, and hes been expelled from three highschools, mostly for fighting. its not that Devlins a bad kid? its honestly just that he gets stuck in things and instead of asking for ways out, he does stupid shit, and gets caught. hes really not a bad kid, not if you get to know him. but obviously all his teachers and former foster parents have just judged him by his record and treated him like a criminal. or worse, pity him. which kinda just makes him act out. his only real outlet is music. he loves music, any form of it. he can dance, and sing, and play a handful of instruments. obviously all picked up without the knowledge of his foster parents. but hes really good, and if he took the time to show someone? he could go far with it. but given that its like, the only thing he has thats his? he wont be quick to let people know. hes not like, smart? like hes not this secret genius. he missed like four years of school, if you count all his absences, and the education he DID get? kinda sucked. so hes pretty much on a 9th grade level, even though hes 17. and suppose to be a senior. honestly he hasnt really been to school in a good year and a half? when theyre bringing him to you, hes just coming back from one of his disappearing acts again. he ran away from his new foster parents, and disappeared for three months. and his counselor was like okay. lets try something different. shes honestly afraid the next time Dev disappears theyre gonna find him in a ditch somewhere, and since she actually cares about Dev, shes not about to let that happen. Dev isnt like, disrespectful. hes quiet, and withdrawn, but hes not rude. like if someone tells him to do something, he generally does it. its just when people get in his face, or when he feels like hes being suffocated, or treated like a victim that he cuts his losses and leaves. hes got tattoos, obviously, but none of them are in places that you would see unless he takes his clothes off which is something he will not be doing any time soon. XD hes got both ears pierced, but no other piercings. btw, something your parents will know, Dev is required to get an STD test once a year, just cause he has a prostitution charge, and they gotta make sure nothing pops up. he has to get one every year, for three years since he was charged with it. so this is his last year.

Theyre twins, but Kelley is a few minutes older, and hes always been really protective of Cora. He's always been the brute strength behind things, and hes always had a temper. His speciality is guns, but hes really good with knives, too. he could kill you with his bare hands, lets get real, he can be pretty brutal. hes got a count of how many people hes killed but its not something he'd openly share. hes pretty cold, on the surface. hes intimidating, and fucking mean as hell. hes scary, honestly, like hes the type of person that gives you goosebumps, because you know hes done some horrible stuff, and he probably doesnt regret a thing. most people think he doesnt have a heart, and thats kinda how he wants it. obviously hes not like that, down deep, but the only person who knows that is Cora, and thats not happening.

XD his parents kinda encouraged their kids to do alot, and just do their best? but they did really well with them, so theyre all mad successful. his brother's in law school, and was captain of the football team, and student class president, in highschool. his sister's in the premed program at her university, and she was head cheerleader, and student class treasurer, and the head of the mathletes in her school. and now, Drew's captain of the soccer team, student class president, lead vocalist in his school choir, and he spends most of his time volunteering XD but yeah, music is definately his passion. hes openly gay, and pretty much the world accepts him, cause everrryone loves Drew. Outwardly, his life seems perfect, and for the most part? its is. cept his boyfriend. everyone thinks hes an amazing guy, but thats because they dont notice the little things, and theyre not there to witness the things that happen when no ones around. his boyfriends smart, like hes not some jock with anger management issues, or a kid with drug and alcohol issues that lashes out, no. hes brilliant, hes just below Drew in their class, and hes their class's mathletes captain. it started out perfect, liek he was sweet and charming and respectful and honest to god, Drew's best friend. then he started telling Drew he couldnt hang out with certain people, and eventually it just got progressively worse until Drew was stuck in an abusive relationship. obviously he knows he should leave, but its hard. and he hates admitting hes wrong about things. plus, his parents love Spencer (his bf) and iunno. he cant really give you a concrete reason why he doesnt leave? its probably because no ones suggested he do. and obvs hes not going to tell anyone about the abuse, hes got too much pride for it. he doesnt sing at the gigs that often, just cause hes soooo busy. but everythings dying down, so hes gonna start going more often. Spencer likes that he sings, so he wont stop him, he always tags along. he appears completely happy, though. obviously. and its pretty much all a facade, at this point. like hes got this perfect-boy persona, but hes gradually developing this split personality, where he just does...really bad shit. frankly. like he goes out and parties with his friends and drinks to the point of passing out, and hes tried drugs, but hes smart enough not to do them enough to get addicted. its an issue, but its a complete secret. hes just got a lot of issues, and no where to deal with them, because at home? and school? hes suppose to be perfect.

Declan doesnt pay much attention the "help" and thats honestly what he think of the knights as. its not like he treats yall badly? he just doesnt really pay attention to you. youre just there. you always have been. XD his dad is pretty much a dick? like to everyone, not just yall. hes a super douchebag to yall, but hes just as bad to his wife and sons. hes not as bad to Malik, because Malik is alot like him. but he pretty much hates Declan, and he treats his wife like shit. like shes really meek, and its honestly like she was just used to give him heirs. Declan loves her, and he'll protect her to the death, which gets him in alot of trouble with his dad. Obviously none of this is public knowledge. To the outside, they look liek the perfect, flawless family. but yeah, its goes pretty deep. hes got his nose pierced, just a stud. honestly hes suppose to be gorgeous? like...hes suppose to be desirable. so his parents let him do anything that would enhance his looks.

Joey
Joey Venetia. 20. http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ltaog2bpVk1r3odkfo1_500.jpg brown hair, but its always buzzed off, green eyes. 6' 3" and pretty strong. like build? but its mostly upper body strength at this point. hes pretty chill, quiet, but not broody. hes not standoffish, like he talks to people, hes just not outgoing, loud, and obnoxious. XD he was in a wheelchair for a year and a half, after a bad spinal injury during his first trip to the olympics. that was pretty much where everyone said his career ended. and it was a shame, because Joey was fucking good. Like people knew him, he was relevant. He was 14, and in the olympics, with an honest to god shot at taking home gold, and then he took a bad fall, and that was it. he was done. he pretty mcuh disappeared from gymnastics history at that point. but now hes coming back, and he honestly seems fine. like he can walk, he can run, he can do basic gymnastic stuff, hes just not as good as he used to be, and its just harder for him. he has physical therapy and all that other shit. considering he was never suppose to walk again, nevermind run, nevermind flip, its pretty amazing. hes not cocky, though, at all. hes smirky and chill, but hes not like nbdnbd. hes like ahah yeah. thanks. when people compliment him. not lol i know.
