Devlin. 17. http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq3njev9r71qbdx2po1_400.jpg http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lu0k8t0Vh61qg0wyzo1_500.jpg ash brown hair, greenish blue eyes. 5' 10" and pretty thin, like, he didnt get much to eat as a kid, thin. obviously Devlin's a foster kid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9caA1QkWj4&feature=related he actually hasnt been a foster kid his whole life. he was taken away from his mom when he was 12, because the teachers at his school finally noticed all the signs. shes in prison now for child abuse and neglect. hes been in fostercare ever since then, and honestly, its not much better. the only difference is that now Devlin feels no obligation to stay, so generally he'll stay with a placement for a couple weeks, and then he'll just disappear. the cops will pick him up a couple weeks later, maybe a month, and send him back to the system. hes been in a rehabilitation system twice, once for cocaine, because his mom had him addicted to it when they took him away from her, and once for meth, because he got on that when he was around 14. his record has everything in it? so before he even gets there youre gonna know he has a drug possession charge, two seperate years in drug rehabiliation, a prostitution charge, and hes been expelled from three highschools, mostly for fighting. its not that Devlins a bad kid? its honestly just that he gets stuck in things and instead of asking for ways out, he does stupid shit, and gets caught. hes really not a bad kid, not if you get to know him. but obviously all his teachers and former foster parents have just judged him by his record and treated him like a criminal. or worse, pity him. which kinda just makes him act out. his only real outlet is music. he loves music, any form of it. he can dance, and sing, and play a handful of instruments. obviously all picked up without the knowledge of his foster parents. but hes really good, and if he took the time to show someone? he could go far with it. but given that its like, the only thing he has thats his? he wont be quick to let people know. hes not like, smart? like hes not this secret genius. he missed like four years of school, if you count all his absences, and the education he DID get? kinda sucked. so hes pretty much on a 9th grade level, even though hes 17. and suppose to be a senior. honestly he hasnt really been to school in a good year and a half? when theyre bringing him to you, hes just coming back from one of his disappearing acts again. he ran away from his new foster parents, and disappeared for three months. and his counselor was like okay. lets try something different. shes honestly afraid the next time Dev disappears theyre gonna find him in a ditch somewhere, and since she actually cares about Dev, shes not about to let that happen. Dev isnt like, disrespectful. hes quiet, and withdrawn, but hes not rude. like if someone tells him to do something, he generally does it. its just when people get in his face, or when he feels like hes being suffocated, or treated like a victim that he cuts his losses and leaves. hes got tattoos, obviously, but none of them are in places that you would see unless he takes his clothes off which is something he will not be doing any time soon. XD hes got both ears pierced, but no other piercings. btw, something your parents will know, Dev is required to get an STD test once a year, just cause he has a prostitution charge, and they gotta make sure nothing pops up. he has to get one every year, for three years since he was charged with it. so this is his last year.
