Death of a Chat
I feel like I'm the only one who cares that the chat died. Oh well. Here's my Eulogy -- ALL IN GOOD FUN, YOU FLAMING IDIOTS.

Dear friends, we are gathered here today to... mourn the loss of something close to our hearts. Tehsillycircus.

Born into the world of online chatting on Thursday, January 21st, 2004, JapanOB86 was "teh" creator of the chatroom.

Exuberant and joyful at first, OtakuBoards members flocked to the chat, eager to talk and see the newborn.

The life of a chatroom is precious, but many do not realize this, and most privately created chats die within the night. Tehsillycircus lasted the night, and grew into a young chat-ling, over the days. It even celebrated its one week anniversary (equivalent to 14 years of human age), with a banner as a present. But there was tragedy to come.

The chat became drab, and tehsillycircus started to be unappreciated. There was a conspiracy to plot against the room. And barely a week after its creation, tehsillycircus was cut down in its prime, by a man who will not be named (*coughdescough*).

That's alright, we suppose. Perhaps there is still hope of a resurrection of tehsillycircus. And even though it is no longer with us, we will always remember tehsillycircus...
