Hello there. I've decided to grant your request and come to your site. This is a nice site yo. I like the D wallpaper. Very cool. (D ROCKS!!)

As for your questions,
1)The sky is blue because the particles in the atmosphere (mostly water) reflect the pigment blue and absorb all other pigments. This could change depending on what kinds of particles mix with it but its usually blue.
2)Im not sure if there is a "sky" persay but i know there is an atmosphere and the term sky came around before the term atmosphere so it is an old term used to describe the atmosphere that we didnt know about then. *deep breathe* So tecniquely there is a sky but it's got a new name now.
3)Of course you can befriend me. The more the merrier!
4)Done and done.
