   *CRASH!!*

Time of Post: 10:36 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: Some DDR song that's damned catchy! XD Current Gundam Mood: Tired. As. Hell. Well, today was interesting. I woke up around noon today to the phone ringing. When I answered, it was none other than my dearest Onii-san, calling to say he'd been in an accident. A motorcycle accident, to be specific (though I didn't get that part right away) and could I please call his work and our mother to let them know then come pick him up? He'd just drive home, but his wrist and ribs hurt a bit, so. . . Yeah. I freaked. For about fifteen minutes I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off, trying to get dressed, get the calls made, and attempt to stop freaking out. It turns out he wasn't hurt nearly as badly as I'd originally thought, but he did break his wrist, so I spent most of the day at the hospital with him. Now he's got a temporary splint until the swelling goes down and is going to get a real cast within the next two or three days. I've been uber stressed all day, and now that's slipping into pure exhaustion. I've gone from upset to just tired, which is an improvement I suppose. Either way I feel better than I did a couple of hours ago. And my brother? Well, he wouldn't shut up! This is the first time he's broken a bone, so he's all excited going "I can't believe I actually broke it!" and stuff. It's kinda funny really. Now he's all calm because of the pain pills (he's sitting at his desk playing Starcraft), but before he was bouncing around like a hyperactive kid who just drank a gallon of coffee. O_o Anyways, besides my over-exciting day, I saw a new anime recently. Anyone ever heard of Tokyo Babylon? Well, I got it earlier this week (all whopping two episodes) and I really loved it. I'm contemplating buying the manga to get more back story now, lol. Either way, I really loved the main character, Subaru. He was adorable! I loved everything about him, from his personality, to his looks, to his clothes--everything was right up my alley! So, what do you think happened because of this admiration? That's right! Fanart! ^_~ Subaru no onmyoji desu! Heh, he looks quite angsty in the pic, but that's just because he's a really compassionate person, so he gets that look whenever he's worried about someone. ^^ It's just a BW lineart, but I was extremely pleased with it--particularly his hands. That's why they're in the thumb! Heheheh, well I hope you like it, and, as always, comments would be mucho loved and rewarded with cookies.    Holy Hairpins, Batman!

Time of Post: 12:13 AM(MT) Currently Listening To: "The End of the World As We Know It" by REM (I think anyways) Current Gundam Mood: Happy! ^_^ Wow, posts three days in a row! It's been like two months since I've managed such a feat, lol. I guess it's just cuz I missed my precious computer so much. XD Heh, I would've posted earlier but I just got home from work a while ago and I was lazing around for a bit. Yes, I did get called in. I had six hours today, then five hours on Thursday, then I. Am. DONE! Mwahahahaha! Oh, but you know what royally pisses me off? They already shut off my discount card! I went to buy a soda and some twizzlers on my break today, and when I swiped my card it said it wasn't valid. Hello! I still work there! *grumbles about wanting 15 cents back* Oh yes, thank you everyone for the complements on my new layout. I was quite proud of it, so I basked in the praise, lol. ^_^ Ah, and thanks for all the complements on my room as well! I wuvs it! Ah, and once again I'm out of things to talk about. My life is soooo interesting right now, lol. So, to take your mind off my boringness, here's a random tiny Sukisho picture that for some reason makes me chuckle every time I see it.    New Layout! Wai!

I was tired of my old one, and this is what came out. New bg (Cain from "Count Cain"--also known as "Godchild") new post bg (Hikaru and Kaoru!) new quote (from Gravitation) new video (Kotani Kinya!) aaaand *drumroll* new ava! Yes, that's right! I've changed my avatar for the first time in like a year. ^^ I think it suits me quite nicely--not to mention I'll bet all my guy friends will like it a bit more than my "Sexy Duo" ava ^_~ In other news, I did absolutely nothing today besides redesign my site--which took an infuriatingly long time because photobucket was acting up--Soo! On with the pictures! Well, I re-did my "wallpaper". I took all of the old pictures down, took pictures of my painfully bare walls, then put up lots of shiny NEW pictures! lol, so here's all the shots: Before! After! Before! After! Now the bookshelves!    Okay, I'm really back this time!

Time of Post: 10:06 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Love Like Winter" by AFI Current Gundam Mood: Content. ^^ Yaaaay, I'm finally back on my own computer, *revels in personalized goodness* Though, I did have to RE-personalize everything, but it's almost the same now as it was before, so I'm good. ^_^ Soo, I think I'm almost officially unemployed. I add 'think' and 'almost' because they haven't made it clear yet. You see, I gave my two weeks notice with the understanding that I would be done on August 13th, BUT, when I checked my schedule for this week, it was blank. I asked one of my supervisors (I have like ten of them, since I am but a lowly cashier) and she said she wasn't sure. So, I guess I'm on call this week . . . or something like that. I don't know. Either way, I'll only work one more day, two tops. It's weird to say it, but I'm gonna miss it there a little bit. With a few exceptions, I really liked my coworkers, and as for the job itself, I'll be the first to admit that once I got used to it, it wasn't really that hard. Just *boop!* . . . *boop!* . . . *boop!* etc. Not too complicated. Oh well, at least I'm gonna keep touch with Amanda. We've traded anime (she has my copy of Fruits Basket, I have her Magic Knights Rayearth) and we plan to hang out sometime soon. Speaking of Magic Knights Rayearth, I gotta say that series is really cute! I plan on doing a fanart of Hikaru sometime soon, just cuz I love her design. ^^ Oh yeah! I promised pictures of my room! Heheh, so here they are! I'll post the old one first, then the new one, but not too many since I don't want to bore you guys. First, shots taken while standing in my doorway. You can see that it's MUCH less cluttered in the second one. This is the corner of my room to the right of the door. In the first, my bed was pushed back there, and my old bookshelf took up the rest of the room. In the second, the bed has been moved back, the new bookshelf put in place of the old one, and a dresser put in the remaining room. Um, the only thing you can see in the pic is the dresser though. ^^" Hokay, and this is where my tv used to be. And here's what's there now! Heheh, the only part of my room that's NOT done! I'm still waiting on my mom to clean off the chair she was gonna give me to put all of my misc. junk on. Here's how this corner looked then. And how it looks now. Yep, my tv migrated across the room. Now it's near the foot of my bed. Hmm, and I think I'll leave my walls and bookshelves for tomorrow because this post is long enough, lol.    I'm ALIVE!!!!

Time of Post: 11:14 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Want You Bad" by The Offspring Current Gundam Mood: Exhilarated! WHEEEEEEEEE!!!! *Cries* I missed you guys!! *tackle-glomps everyone* My computer died last week--err, like, on the 23rd--so I've been without internet for like . . . . *counts* nine days! NINE! Wai! ToT But I'm back now! Well, mostly. I was able to keep almost all of my files because they were on my external hardrive, but all of my programs are gone, and the internet on the main comp still isn't working quite right--oh, I'm using my dad's laptop right now, by the way. I have my hardrive hooked up to it, so most of my stuff is here, but again, my programs are missing, so for like pics and stuff, I think I'm just gonna use old stuff, neh? Luckily, I was able to reinstal the scanner and one of my image editing programs, so I was just barely able to enter the July Contest here on theotaku. My entry isn't the best cuz I rushed it--and a couple of people told me so already--but I'd still love it if you guys would go take a pic. I don't have a thumb for ya, but I can at least link it, neh? Go see Ichigo! Although, I guess it couldn't have been too bad, cuz I did get featured on the main site. ^__________^ Heheh, first time that's happened!! Uh, anyways, so my comp isn't totally better yet, but at least it turns on now. It was totally dead because of a virus--at least that's what we think happened, but it could've been our virus protection program getting into a fight with our spyware blocking program--which has happened before. Apparently Norton and Spybot don't get along too well. So yeah, I'll try and post everyday, but I can't guarantee anything. SO! Did I miss anything important while I was gone? I feel like I've been shut off from the outside world, so tell me what happened!! As for my little life, I've officially given my two weeks notice at work, so as of August 13th, I'm unemployed . . . I can't wait! XD Heheh, yeah school starts on the 21st, so I wanted at least a little time off to laze around. My boss wasn't too happy, but I'm sure they'll manage without me. Especially since they were training new cashiers today anyway. Uh, other than that, I finished my room. Yep! It looks GREAT! I even rearranged all of my furniture, so it seems twice as big now! And I re-papered my walls with updated anime pictures. Well, two of my walls anyways. My mom stopped me after that and said "I don't think the drywall can take anymore abuse". Heheh. Still, I wuvs it!! I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow. I even have before pics to contrast them! ^_^ Wah, well I think this post is long enough.    Ze Erin-chan had a busy Day Off!

Time of Post: 11:24 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Easy Action" by Kotani Kinya Current Gundam Mood: Tired but oh so content. ^^ Fwaaaaahn *stretches* I had a great day today! I think I've been home for a grand total of like two and a half hours today. The reason is that I spent a good chunk of the day out with Jerry, David, Makayla, and two of Makayla's friends--who ended up flaking out on us for reasons I will explain in a moment. We saw Clerks 2 then went for chinese food. Well, now to explain why the others left--I didn't know either of their names, just that they're friends with Makayla, whom I don't even know that well anyway. Uh, she was there because David likes her, and it was supposed to be a date, but her friends wanted to come too, and they needed a ride anyways, so Jerry had to play chauffeur. So Jerry asks me to tag along because he doesn't want to be left alone with all those people, and since I wanted to see the movie anyway, I agreed to go. (no ulterior motives, oh no) Uh, anyways, back to why her friends left. You see, Clerks 2 is rated R, so you kinda have to be 17 to go. Heheh, lucky me, I turned 17 a week ago so I was fine (though for a few seconds I forgot and was panicking) but Makayla and her friends are all 15-16, and therefore couldn't get in. So they all bought tickets for 'Monster House' instead. Her friends actually went to the movie they paid for, but Makayla snuck into Clerks with us. After that we didn't see her friends--though they called later to tell that they'd gone to Taco Bell when their movie got out. So yeah, Clerks 2 was GREAT!! Oh, I laughed so hard through the whole thing! I loved the first one, and the series, not to mention that anything with Jay and Silent Bob is totally awesome anyway. Long story short, it completely rocked my socks. ^_~ Not much to say after that other than that the chinese food was really good . . . well, that and the fact that since I've been teasing David, calling this outting his and Makayla's first date. It took him a while, but he finally figured that the same tease would work with me and Jerry. For the last half hour or so, I've been debating him about why his half was a date and mine wasn't. >.< He twists my already shaky logic, and we've just been talking in circles. *shakes head and chuckles* but it's all in good fun, so it's okay. ^^ Anyways, I got home around six, and was home for maybe 45 minutes before my mom asks me if I want to go to my aunt's house with her so she can cut out my new bookshelves. (and yes, she's making them herself) So I agreed, and we got there just in time for my cousin's band to start practicing. A couple of my friends were there, so I sat with them and listened in. Their band is getting really good! Almost proffessional level! I really enjoyed it, though it was loud enough that it gave me a slight headache which is still lingering. Oh well, I'm still happy so it doesn't matter! So yep, me and my busy day off. Heheh, kept me from finishing my room, but I had fun, dammit, so it doesn't matter! Eh, well I'm gonna wrap this up now, since I'm sure you're sick of my rambling. ^^ Oh, and if you missed yesterday's post, would you mind taking a peeky? I'd wuv you if did!    Cleaning and Bedheads

Time of Post: 10:30 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Only" by Nine Inch Nails Current Gundam Mood: GoGoGo! Well, I've spent most of the last two days--meaning today and yesterday--cleaning my room. How could cleaning a room take so very long, you ask? Well, I don't clean often, so just the basics took a while, but then me and my mom decided my room needed a new look. Sooo, I'm re-designing it. That means I'm getting rid of my desk and putting a bookshelf in it's place (goodness knows I need another one) and cleaning out my closet and other various dressers and cabinets so that my stuff will actually fit in them. That wouldn't be so hard except that I haven't cleaned any of those things out for like, oh, five years or so. So I've been taking a forced trip down memory lane as I've been cleaning out my crap. I've gotten everything but the closet, which I'm in the middle of right now. I just thought I'd take a quick break and post since I skipped out yesterday. ^^ Oh, and I forgot to mention that I might be getting a new bed as well. I've had my current one since before we moved here, and it's getting a bit, uh, decrepid. It squeaks at the tiniest movement, and it's not very attractive looking. I hope I can get one! Um, anyways, how is everyone? I'm doing good, if a bit flustered from the constant running around trying to figure out what to do with stuff. Oh yeah, and . . . I HAVE NEW FANART!! Yep, amidst all my cleaning, I did make time to get a drawing done. It's Sora this time. ^^ Do you guys remember the pic I did of Axel a while ago entitled "Bed Head"? Bwhahaha, well this one is entitled "Bed Head Strikes Again!!" Go see it!! Ze Bed Head!!! Heheh so I think that's it from me. . . uh, yeah, and my presents from Amazon still aren't here.    New Fanart!

Heheh, thankies mucho for all of the Birthday wishes! I had a great birthday (though a good chunk of my presents are still enroute from various places), and work has been pleasant too. I'm quite surprised that seven hour shift didn't kill me, actually, but ya know ^^ At least I found out something interesting about my friend/coworker Amanda . . . she likes anime too! Oh hell yeah I knew there was a reason I liked her! (ya know, besides the fact that she's totally cool). Anyways, back to the Bday stuff for a minute, I wanna give a special thanks to Lordsesshomaru, because he sent me this lovely card. Thank you soooo much! Ah, Gaara is so mucho cool! Time of Post: 12:03 AM(MT) Currently Listening To: "The Only Difference Between Suicide and Martyrdom is Press Coverage" by Panic! At The Disco Current Gundam Mood: Partay!! Woo! Yaaaay! It ish me birfday today! Er, well tomorrow, but on Otaku-time it's today. ^^ Oh yeah, and I'm 17 today! Gotta go change my little intro thingie now . . . hmm, well as for Bday plans, uh, I don't have any. Except that I got the day off from work, lol. So far my only thought is to just sit on my ass and not do a damned thing all day. Especially since I've worked every day this week, as well as another seven hour shift on Saturday. XP I need this day off! XD Hmm, and as for presents, we ordered some stuff from Amazon earlier today, so some of my presents will be late, but I don't mind. We ordered the first Naruto uncut boxed set (amazingly only $30!!) a series called "Gokudo" (anyone seen it? I just read the plot synopsis and decided that since it was only $29 I might as well just get it) Azumanga Daioh Class Album (boxed set of the series, not for me but for my bro, since his Bday is in a couple of weeks anyway) and Shuichi Shindo Complete Vocal Collection (basicly all of the Gravitation music I don't already have ^^). And other than that, I'll probably get some manga and a couple of dvds, and I already got three shirts. Heheh, the nice thing about working at Shopko is that I get an discount, so my shirts were cheap. ^^ I'm wearing one right now, and lemme tell ya, I love it. It's all slinky and soft and really comfortable! Heheh, but my mom kinda felt bad that she just gave me the money to buy my own presents. Ah well, point is I got them, neh? Okay okay, enough of the birthday stuff, because guess what! My daddy's home! Well, actually, he's been home since monday, but I've been working and hence not posting (the only reason I'm posting tonight is cuz of the birthday thing), so he's had a lot of time to settle in. He's not 100% better yet, but at least he's not delirious anymore. About the only thing is that he has to go in about once a week or so for wound care. They're treating his cellulitis like they would a third degree burn--which is what it looks like, actually. I had the joy *note: intense sarcasm* of taking my daddy in and watching them take a layer of dead skin off his leg--revealing bright pink new skin--cleaning it, and me taking notes on how to bandage it. Blah, that wasn't fun. Point is, he's home, and life is a lot less stressful lately. Speaking of stress, work is mucho better too. Psycho supervisor lady (I'd call her by name, but, uh, I kinda don't know her name) hasn't been there all week, so I haven't been chewed out at all. And! I made friends with one of my coworkers. Her name is Amanda, and she's totally the awesomeness. Not to mention she saved my butt like twenty times when I was new, lol. There's also Kayla, but I don't know if I like her as much. She can be kinda bitchy, and she's lazy and always asks for her breaks when you're really supposed to wait until they tell you to go on break, but she's kinda nice, I guess. Eh, just one of those people that I probably would not associate myself with if I had the choice, but we work together, so I'll be nice.    Hello. . . eheh. . . .

Time of Post: 10:03 PM(MT) Currently Listening To: "Sakura Kiss" by Chieco Kawabe Current Gundam Mood: Content ^^ Well my Dad is still in the hospital, but he's better than he was the last time I posted. I've been visiting him almost every day, and he seems to really appriciate it. His leg is still totally screwed up though. Blistered and raw from knee to ankle. Poor Daddy! T-T I really hope he gets better soon. Anyways, how was everyone's 4th of July? I had a lot of fun! . . . well, once I got off work I had a lot of fun. -_-" Yeah I had to work during the day, but luckily I got off around 5, so I still had plenty of time to spend with my friends. I went over to Jerry's house, because when I called him, he said our whole group was already over there. It was so much fun seeing people I haven't seen in a while. Ah, and once again, I have to gush about how cute Jerry's little sisters are! Especially the youngest one, Elisabeth. All I can think when I see her is "KAWAIIIIIII!!!" Aww, but the poor thing was a little scared of the fireworks. Also, she get's cold really easily. So I got two birds with one stone and shared my blanket with her. You know, that's the first time I've had a little kid fall asleep in my lap. She just conked right out . . . I guess I make a good pillow. O_o Either way it was unbearably cute. Though the only bad thing about having her in my lap for the better part of an hour was that people kept asking me one of two things. A) Was she mine? (asked by those who didn't know me or Jerry and his family very well)or B)Was I dating Jerry? (annoying because this was asked by people who know me and should know better) Guh, just because I was being nice to his sister doesn't mean I'm dating him. -///- Anyways, to finish off this post, I have new fanart! Ya~ay! I have two--one done today and one done a few days ago. The first is of Takuya. I think it turned out really cute, but my bro said that Takuya looked even more girly than usual and that it was weird. Oh well. ^^ Be Carefree And the second is a bit of Ouran High School Host Club fanart. Can you say "Hikaru and Kaoru"? Mwah, I love those two--they just crack me up! Hence, I did a fanart of them. ^^ "We're Innocent . . . We Swear." Haha, enjoy!
