Nnnnn. . . .
Time of Post: 10:19 PM(MT)
Not feeling too hot today. Nothing serious, just a little off balance. I get like this sometimes, no big.
Well I think maybe what set me off is that they handed out yearbooks today. No, I'm not going to give you some sob 'no one signed my yearbook' story, because that's not how it is at all. I got plenty of signatures and I signed plenty of other people's books. What bothered me is that most of the signatures in my book said something along the lines of "Hi, Erin! I don't know you too well, but that's just because you never talk. I like your drawings, all that Japanese stuff. Hope you have a great year!" Things like that. It was depressing that all people really know me for is the fact that I draw and that I like 'that weird Japanese stuff'. And they wonder why I hate school. Oh well, there was a signature that I got a kick out of. I have a friend named David--he's Jerry's little brother--and we're the same age. He signed it in Spanish, but I got the general meaning. It said something like "Fuck you, Bitch, Love David." Now, before you get all indignant, this is a running joke with me and him. I don't cuss much on my own, but for some reason, he can coax me to be bitchy and nice at the same time. All the while having a really foul mouth. Hell I signed his yearbook saying "Hey, Ryuu-kun!(nickname) Omae o korosu!!(Japanese for 'I will kill you'--another joke between us) Just kidding! I wouldn't do that. But still, you're a bitch! -Erin" Nice, right? That's just the way we are with eachother, so it was really great to get a sincere signature like that. Heh, me and my friends are weird, aren't we?
Hey, thanks for all the feedback on my paper, I'm glad you all liked it! ^_^
Hmm, well it seems as if only one person looked at my new fanart! Well, at least there was only one vote on it last I checked, which was a few hours ago. Does this meant that I do need to bribe you guys? *pouts* Well, if you didn't see it already, would you mind taking a peek? Please and Thanks! ^_^
Ahh, I'm feeling a bit better now. Like I said, I'm unbalanced. I feel like crap for awhile, then I feel great for awhile. It's almost like being bipolar, except that I'm only like this sometimes. *sigh* I hate this.
Well, that's it from me! Oyasuminasai all! |

My Hair. . .
Time of Post: 10:06 PM(MT)
I just noticed. . . my hair is getting really long. It's about an inch past my shoulderblades now. I didn't realize that it had gotten that long. Not that I have any intention of cutting, oh no. My goal is to have a braid like Duo's!! Okay, maybe not that long, but longer than it is now. I also need to re-dye my hair. It's faded from the dark brown I love to a muddy regular brown. I don't like it. Mayhap I'll do that this weekend.
Uhm, anyway, judging by yesterday's comments, I don't need to bribe you guys to check out my art. (you still get cookies today anyway! *hands out chocolate-chip oatmeal cookies*)Yay! ^_^ That's a really good thing because I have another pic today. Just one, but for some odd reason the thing took nearly an hour to do. Its just a pen drawing, but it gave me issues. Not to mention I had half my attention on the teacher I was supposed to be focusing on. . . hmmm. . .
Okies, I said I'd post my English paper and I will! It's kinda long, so you don't have to read it if you don't want to, but I'd love any feedback, good or bad. If it sucks, tell me, but make sure to tell me why it sucks or I will ignore your comment and laugh at it. ^_^ Here it is!
The Creation of a World
I’m bored. Ichiro thought with a sigh. Most would consider being a God of life and death interesting and exciting. Most were wrong. True, Ichiro was a God, but he was still considered too ‘young’ to create his own world. You’d think that 1,800 years would be enough, but noooooo. He thought irritably, squirming to get comfortable on his cushion.
This meditation his father had proposed wasn’t helping much either. Sure it relaxed his body, but nothing could ease Ichi’s restless mind.
Well, almost nothing.
Tonight. I’ll make my move tonight. I know I’m old enough and I will take whatever punishment Father can throw at me. I will do it tonight. And with that satisfying thought, he tossed his long, black braid over his shoulder and stood, his impossibly green eyes glinting with anticipation. He had preparations to make.
Nighttime found Ichiro standing over a circle, all of his preparations having been done perfectly. So why isn’t it working? He thought, scowling at the lifeless body of the woman he’d created. She might as well be an oversized doll for all my effort. He couldn’t keep the confused frown from creasing his brow.
“You forgot to give her a soul.” A voice said softly.
Ichi let out what could only be called a squeak and whirled around. A curvy young woman stood in his doorway, a knowing smile on her lips. “Hanako!”
She bowed exaggeratedly. “The one and only, my dear brother.” She straightened from her bow and came to stand next to him. “She’s pretty.” She commented, nodding at the still figure on the floor before them.
She was indeed very pretty, with long black hair and a slender build. She had high cheekbones and pale skin, accented by her full red lips. “Yeah,” Ichi glanced at his older sister. “You think I’d make my first human ugly?”
Hanako gave him a look, at the same time smoothing her wispy blonde hair. “No, I suppose not. Where are you going to keep her? Have you made a world yet?”
Ichi rolled his eyes. “Of course, Hanako, I’m not stupid.” He said, indicating the glass globe next to his desk.
It was large, and inside there was a round ball of dirt that was suspended in mid-air. Hanako stared at it disdainfully. “That is your world?”
“Yes.”
“That dingy little dirt ball?”
“Yes.”
She arched a graceful brow. “What about water? Plants? Animals?”
He let out an exasperated sigh. He knew he’d never get away with a half-finished world. Still, it was worth a shot. “But those are so much work! I was thinking I could feed her and take care of her on my own.”
“Humans are not pets!” Hanako shrieked. “The whole reason we create them is to see how they do on their own! Not to coddle them! You know that, Ichi!”
Ichi threw up his hands in defeat. “Fine! I’ll fix it; I’ll fix it! Yeesh!”
With as much grace as he could muster, he stalked over to his desk to get the necessary items; a full eye dropper for the water, a special seed for the plants, and a hair from his own head for the animals. Carefully he removed the glass covering from the ball and took it in his hands, carving pathways and basins for the water. “You need mountains for the rivers to work.” Hanako remarked over his shoulder.
His eye twitched. “I know.” He growled, embarrassed that he’d almost forgotten about the mountains.
Annoyed, he roughly scraped at the earth until it was dotted with mountains. Then he re-carved the rivers. “There.” He said, smiling as he placed a drop of water at the top of one of the mountains.
It ran down, following the many paths he’d carved to pool in what was supposed to be an ocean. There it grew, filling in the basin then running out through all of the other paths, making a working water system.
“Plants?” Hanako asked.
“I was getting to that!” He snapped.
Using a pair of silver tweezers, he took the small seed and dipped it into the water. After letting it soak for several seconds, he pulled it out and set it on one of the flat plains of his earth. It was a treat watch it unfurl and spread like wildfire over the ground. Within the space of a minute, the once-bare dirt ball was covered in greenery; everything from stands of evergreen trees to lush rainforests to deserts of spiny cacti. “Oh! Nice variety!” Hanako grinned. “Now animals! I want to see those silly designs of yours come to life!”
Ichi huffed at her, deciding not to dignify that with a comment. He took a glossy black hair from his braid and ran it through his fingers, murmuring softly the spell he had written to bring life to his creations. He set the hair on the earth and the moment his fingers left it, it seemed to shatter, transforming into thousands of animals and spreading them all over the planet. His sister peered intently at them, cooing at the cute ones and making noises of disgust at the less attractive species. “Ugh. Well, points for creativity with that squirmy looking one there.” She grimaced.
“Ah, that’s a snake, Hanako.” He answered.
She shuddered. “Why make something like that?”
“Not all worlds are meant to be pink and fluffy like yours, sister.” He said with a raised eyebrow.
She flushed slightly. “Oh, hush. I like what I like. Anyway, you still have a problem.”
Ichi glanced at the still form on the floor. “I know.” He sighed. “I just don’t know how to give her a soul. Father said I had to figure that out on my own.”
Hanako smiled impishly at him. “So you shall.”
Ichi frowned. “Sister, please? Just a hint?”
She shook a finger at him. “Uh-uh-uh! Just experiment, you’ll figure it out.”
And with that she left, her fair hair floating behind her. “Sister!” He whined at the closing door.
“Humph!” He yanked his braid over his shoulder and twisted it around, trying desperately to think of what could make a good soul.
Tears, maybe? No, that would make a sad soul. He thought. Hmm, not hair, I used that already for the animals. Saliva? Ugh, no, definitely not. Then I’d have to deal with a glutton. He frowned, running his hands so furiously over his braid that the tie at the end popped off and flew across the room, leaving his hair to unravel into silky waves. “Curse it!” He snapped as it cascaded down to his waist. “Why do I bother keeping it this long!”
Quickly he strode to his desk and began rummaging around in one of the drawers for a replacement tie. A sudden sharp pain caused him to pull his hand from the drawer with a hiss. His finger had caught on a letter opener. He held his hand up to see a drop of blood well up out of the cut and dribble down his finger. His eyes widened. “Of course!” He exclaimed. “Blood! The perfect mix of good and evil!”
Eagerly he opened the girl’s mouth and held his dripping finger above it. Three fat drops fell between her lips before her eyes suddenly flew open, revealing pale blue irises. “Ah, just the shade of blue I like!” Ichi grinned at her.
“Uh-um-hello?” The girl was clearly confused.
“Oh! You can speak already?” Ichi clapped his hand together. “That saves us some time.”
“Huh?”
“Hmm, perhaps I should’ve put you in there before I brought you to life.” He nodded at the small planet beside his desk.
She blinked. “There? But I won’t fit. It’s too small.”
“Its not that it’s too small, it’s that you’re too big.”
“Hey!” She exclaimed, blushing.
“Huh?” He blinked at her. “Oh! That’s not what I meant! Sorry.”
He smiled sheepishly. Wow, she even has a personality already. I’ve never heard of a soul forming this completely on the first try before. Either I’m really good, or no one’s used blood before. Ah well, better get her in there and start work on a companion.
“Okay!” He said, clapping his hands again. “Time to go in! Don’t worry, I’ll send more people in a little bit. C’mere.”
With that he grabbed her around the waist and tossed her at the hovering planet. She let out a shriek and braced herself for the impact. But it never came. Suddenly she found herself curled up on the ground next to a small stream, soft grass beneath her. She barely had time to blink before a man appeared next to her, looking as dazed as she felt. They blinked at each other, then another person appeared; and another; and another. One after another five more people popped out of thin air. They all stared at each other, trying to figure out what had happened and why they were here. Suddenly a loud resounding voice sounded. “Okay, you’re here, my people, now live!” It cried.
And so, the world began.
There, whatcha think?

Ai-ya!
Time of Post: 10:05 PM(MT)
I'm sorry I didn't post the last couple of days, but I actually have an excuse this time. I got banned from the computer for refusing to go to church. Well, I didn't flat out refuse, but I put up enough of a fight that I got left at home with the threat of if I touched the computer I would loose it for a week. So, yeah, I was a good girl and stayed off.
Well, I did get a new fanart in Saturday night though, so if anyone wants to take a peek it would be much appriciated. You know the drill, votes and comments and I'll give you a cookie! ^_~
So how was everyone's labor day?Mine was good. I sat on my butt and watched movies with my family all day, so its all good. Though now I'm scrambling to get my American Literture paper that's due tomorrow done. >_< Don't worry, I'm almost finished. All we had to do was write an origin myth. Like our version of how the world got started. Not like the story from the bible or anything like that, this is just for fun. It's more of a 'if you could make a world, how would you do it?' kind of thing. I'll post mine tomorrow.
Hmm, well I think that's all from me. I need to finish me papel! (for those who don't know, that's spanish for 'my paper'). If you didn't see my last post, check it! Oyasuminasai all! |

Nyahahaha!
Time of Post: 10:27
I have the giggles today. Bad. Seriously, I've been laughing at everything today! Even stupid things like my brother chucking a dirty sock at me while my hands are full. Then telling me there's a spider in the box I'm carrying. Oh, I freaked out! I dropped the box and let out this odd half shriek half gurgle noise and sent papers everywhere. Then we both cracked up! ^_^ Huhuhuhu, I've also had too much caffine today, so that might have contributed to my spazzy good mood. Well that and something else but that's a secret! ^_~
Hmmm, what else? I guess I could scan those pictures in. . . eh, I'll do it tomorrow, I'm feeling lazy today.*dodges various thrown objects* I swear, I'll do it tomorrow!! >_<
Uhm, well they attempted to have a pep assembly at my school today. Ha! Now that was funny! Sorry, I'm kinda anti-school spirit. Well, actually I'm anti-school overall so yeah. But anyway, it was interesting to hear my friends' sarcastic comments through the whole thing. Oh and let me tell you, our cheerleaders SUCK!! They screwed up so many times its not even funny, not to mention the fell from almost everyone of the tosses and stuff like that. It was sad really. I'm surprised no one has gotten hurt yet. Ah yeah anyways I hate pep assemblies.
Oh! Oh! Guess what! I'm going to order X The Movie and volume 2 of the Gravitation anime either today or tomorrow! Ya~ay!! ^_^ I've been wanting to see X forever and of course I lovelovelove Gravitation, so this will be really cool! *squirms* ooooo, I can't wait!!
Question of the Day: Beef or Chicken ramen?
Chicken all the way!! That or Kimchi flavored, but that's a little hard to come by.
Okies, that's all for me today! Oyasuminasai all!!
Wait wait!! There's a new quote up!! Go read it! It's from Demon Diary. Whew! Almost forgot to mention that! ^_^" |

Heh. . . .
Time of Post: 10:32 PM(MT)
Umm, yeah, I guess I kinda pulled my disappearing act again didn't I? Gomen! I guess i just have to do that every now and then, don't I? Eh, it helps me to stay regular with my posts at all other times. If its any comfort, most of the time when I don't post, its because I have nothing to post about.-_-
Buuut! I have had several interesting things happen over the past few days that are worth mentioning. Okay 1) I have a new anime to gush about! It's called 'Golden Boy', and it is hilarious!! Its so perverted and has lots of dirty jokes, but its really funny, so that gets balanced out. Besides, Kintaro is adorably dorky yet cool. And he's a pervert!! >_< He has a very strange fascination with toilets that I'm having a hard time figuring out.
Moving on! About the kitten, we are definitely keeping her, but we're still not sure what to name her. So far the most popular choices are Sakura (cherry blossom) and Yukiko(snow child). I like Yukiko personally, but my mom seems to be leaning towards Sakura.
Umm, yeah, so on to the drawing department. I have drawn a couple of things, but they're both on notebook paper and I'm being lazy and don't want to scan them right now. I'll do it sometime soon though.
Okay, now I have to complain. My back hurts!!! TOT A combination of a heavy backpack and certain parts of my anatomy is giving me serious back pain. I'll get used to it eventually but for the moment I'm annoyed with it. Actually, that's part of why I haven't been posting for the last few days, I've been so exhausted that when it comes time to post, I'm just too tired.
Umm, alrightie then! Question of the Day: What did I miss in my absence?

A guest!!
Time of Post: 10:48 PM(MT)
Yes, I got an unexpected (and potentially permanent) guest today. What kind of guest, you ask? A kitten! Yeah, my neighbor called, asking if we wanted any corn, and when I went to go pick it up, he offered a kitten too. He said that he couldn't take care of it, and that it would just become a stray and most likely get runover if he couldn't find anyone to take it in. Then the tiny thing ran up to me and let out this adorable meow and started purring. That really got me, and I just had to take it home! Surprisingly, my mom wasn't mad when she found out. We're still not sure if we're going to keep it, but I think the little thing has already hooked her. ^_^
Umm, in other news, my second day of school was alright. I think my favorite class overall would have to be Web Based Communications. It's my favorite teacher, and I have one of my best buds in there too; David. He and I fight constantly, but I promise, we're actually good friends.
Art was alright, but I'm still not sure if I like the new teacher. She seems to know what she's talking about, but I'm not sure if I like her teaching methods. Also I have Kim and Nena in that class with me, so that knocks my chances of getting much done down a few knotches. -_-"
Oh, and I'm really sorry, but I don't think I got to visit anyone yesterday, and I'm not sure if I'll have time today either. Gomenasai! Please forgive me? *puppy eyes*
I gotta wrap things up now. I promise I'll make time to see everyone tomorrow. Oyasuminasai! |

Back to school, back to school
Time of Post: 11:06 PM(MT)
Yup, today was my first day back, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'd still much rather sit on my butt all day at home though. Hn. Well at least I got all of the classes I wanted. I had my first four classes today, and they were alright. We're on a block schedule here, so I'll have the rest of them tomorrow. I think I may enjoy the next block better because that's where I have my art and computer classes. Nngh, I'm tired though. I'll have to try and get a bit more sleep tonight.
In other news, I finally got the first chapter of my Fruits Basket fanfic written and typed. That's why I'm posting a bit late. Anyway, I got it up onto fanfiction.net, if anyone wants to read it. Click here! I will give a yaoi warning though, so if you don't like that, I advise you not to read it. Nothing too heavy as of yet, but I'll probably have at least one lemon further along. It's written from Kyo's point of view by the way, if that influences your decision at all.(I know, weird for a Yuki fan to write a fic from Kyo's point of view. . . hmm, I don't know how my mind works).
Okies, well that's all from me today! Oyasuminasai! |

Nervous much?
Time of Post: 10:18 PM(MT)
My last day of freedom is almost over. Tomorrow I must return to the oh so wonderful place that is school. Blech. Well, at least I managed to get some sleep, though now I have a record of staying awake; 34 hours straight without any sleep whatsoever. Wonder if I'll ever top that. . . hmmm. . . .
Well I really didn't do anything today besides download amvs. I found a really cool Naruto vid. It was called "Naruto Fanfarria" It used a lot of different songs to portray lots of different fight scenes, then ended with some random silliness. If you can, I'd reccomend checking it out.
Okies, on to the Question of the Day! When watching anime, do you prefer to watch it in Japanese or English?
I like both, but whenever I watch something for the first time, I watch it in English first, then Japanese, then decide which I like better. It always depends on the voice actors.

Nnnghh
Time of Post: 10:01 PM(MT)
I'm . . . so . . . sleepy! I have quite literally been awake for nearly 30 hours straight. Why have I not slept, you ask? because I just haven't been able to. Every time I try to, I get all nervous and fidgety and have to find something to do. It must be pre-return to school nerves. Tomorrow(Tuesday) is my last day of freedom before I have to go back.
Well, one positive thing about having to keep myself busy, I have three new fanarts today. Two character pictures, and one for Logan-kun (AwesomeDude898). I hope you guys like them! Votes and comments would be much appriciated. ^_^
Ummm, other than that. . . Question of the Day! Do you read and/or write fanfiction? If so, what kinds?
I both read and write it! Though I'm just getting started in the writing department. I find that its fun and great way to occupy spare time. I read mostly Gundam Wing fanfics, but I also like Fruits Basket, Juvenile Orion, DNAngel, and Demon Diary (though those obviously aren't the only anime's I like, they just do well for fics).
Oyasuminasai! I'm off to try my best to get some sleep!(after I make the rounds, of course! ^_~) |

Hmmmm
Time of Post: 10:23 PM(MT)
I wonderfully lazy day today. I really didn't do much besides doodle and read all day. I have a drawing, but its not finished. I still need to ink and color it.
Well, I have some really cool news. My mom is really into making jewelry and things like that, so she decided that she's going to make something for me and my brother. For my bro, she's making a pendant of the symbol from Full Metal Alchemist (the one that looks like a cross with wings and a snake twining around it) and for me, she's going to make something with the kanji symbol of my choice. I've decided to use the word 'Hebi' or 'snake' since it's my zodiac symbol and I like snakes. And I love Ayame! ^_~
lol, anyways I have to tell you guys what my cat did yesterday. He's pretty jumpy and paranoid, so its painfully easy to scare him and I do that a lot because its funny to watch him jump and freak out, but yesterday was one of those few times that scaring him made me absolutely crack up. My brother had his attention and was about to scare him, when I suddenly jumped off the couch and went "HEY NIKKI!" Holy crap that cat literally flew into the air and raced into the kitchen, only to slam headfirst into the glass door! Oh, I know I should feel bad, but that was so funny! Besides, he's fine and I think he forgave me. It's kind of hard to tell when he's mad because he's a grumpy cat by nature. But he seems alright.
lol, well that's all from me, and if you didn't see yesterday's post, please check it!
Oh wait!! I have an announcement! I have officially gotten 3000 hits!! Thanks so much everyone! *hugs to everyone*
